Really luxurious hotel with a lot of grandeur. All facilities were available and very nice suitcase service. We could leave our luggage after checking out and could still use the restroom to change.

We booked the hotel at discount price, but with full price this is way too expensive. The rooms were not that exceptional. Although the breakfast buffet was extremely elaborate, the quality was mediocre. The hotel offers a few restaurants as well, but these are way too expensive. Furthermore, when booking a day tour or (airport shuttle) taxi, they charge way too much. You can get much better value-for-money at other day tour companies. We also booked an airport taxi at 1/8th of the price they suggested.

We booked this for our last night in Vietnam before heading back home. Lovely hotel with an ‘old charm’ and historic feeling. Breakfast buffet offers lots of choice, staff very friendly and forthcoming (we were allowed to use the changing rooms before we left for the airport), location superb and nice roof top bar. Really nice pool with photos from old times. Cannot fault it. Prize upper range for Vietnam but absolutely fair for UK prices and we stayed just before New Year.

The position of the hotel is really good for a visit of the city, very close to the riverside and to the main square Nguyen Hue. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, well furnished. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Good breakfast, good quality of food of room service.

For the breakfast, a bit more assortment of food would complete the comfort of this hotel (for instance, apart some small empty croissants of the type defrosted in oven, there were no danish pastry or cakes at all). Same for room service, the menu is a bit limited for an hotel of this category, it could include some other choices.

I liked central location, but at the same way tucked away in the courtyard with the swimming pool. Stayed at the old part of the building. It’s nice to spend some part of Vietnam holiday with the feel of the colonial era and the room at the old wing just did this

Perhaps the staff could smile more and be more sympathetic to families with children. Particularly at breakfast time - they cleared away all the food instantly without asking if we needed anything else, given that we were with two very young children and perhaps the baby needed more milk or jam. I realise they have strict hours at breakfast time - but it was more like being served by robots rather than humans. This is a 5 star hotel after all and I would have expected at least someone a couple of days into our stay to come round and ask if we needed anything

The room was spacious enough. Well maintained. Toilet fixtures seem to be old fashion, but clean and neat. Location is very centrally located and very near to Times Square where daily cultural programs was there. Walking distance to Opera house from where can get Hop-On Hop-off bus for city tour. A taxi stand is available nearby - 50 meter away. The famous Ben Thanh market & Saigon mall are also can be reached by walking around 20 minutes. Breakfast was good. The atmosphere of the Breakfast restaurant is good.

The smell while entering to the lobby is bad. No other bad experience. NOt flexible for check-out time. The official check-out time is 12:00 PM, after a lot of request or begging, they made it upto 13:30 PM

The room was lovely. We requested a room overlooking the river and we got exactly what we asked for. The bed was huge! Basically two double beds pushed together and made up to be one big bed with what must be specially made sheets. Anyway, it was super-comfortable and we slept really well. It was my birthday while we were there and a vase of red roses and a card was left in our room and I was presented with a slice of cake for breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we were especially impressed that when we checked out, the maids rang down to say we had left our expensive speaker on the window sill. The pool was a relaxing, peaceful place to spend a couple of hours after exploring the city. 10/10

I think the breakfast was a bit boring and lacked daily variety. Husband found the dim sum dull and we thought that the quality of ingredients used everywhere seemed a bit cheap, uninspiring and forgettable. Sometimes a hotel is made memorable by an amazing breakfast spread. The Grand Hotel Saigon won't be memorable for this at all.

Everything, professional, helpful, courteous, patient Amazing. Absolutely loved the Ancient Wing, our room was fabulous, small balcony, very spacious and comfortable beds. Outside our entrance we overlooked the pool., stunning Onr of the best hotels we gave ever had the privilege to stay Airport pickup excellent. Every single staff member treated and greeted us with warmth and welcoming attitudes, they would accommodate us on every level Thankyou for making our stay so , so special💝

Great central location in District 1. Plenty of choice of dining in the immediate area. Great roof-top cafe with pleasant jazz each evening..

I know it is a feature in many Vietnamese hotels but it is strange in an International hotel to have a comprehesive list of the cost of stealing/ breaking items such as wash-hand basins, standard lamps etc etc.

We loved the Hotel Grand. The staff are so nice and very efficient. We loved our view of the river!

We really think they need to upgrade the food in all areas of the hotel, The food was very poor and that is a shame as such a lovely old hotel. A new chef with awesome food, especially up until the rooftop bar which has fabulous views would lift this hotel to a whole other level. The breakfast was below average as well.

From arrival to check out the hotel provided exemplary service. The deluxe King room on the 7th floor was a good size, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a wide choice and service was efficient. I went to the level 20 bar for night viewing of the skyline. Magnificent. The pool was an excellent size with the confines of the hotel.
