Breakfast was okay, but not great. One day coffee was stone cold and at times some food was cold. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to many sight seeing attractions. Clean and comfortable accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Jovia, however sadly our stay ended in a disappointing way. Upon checkout we were told that our room needed to be checked, reason being “in case” we left something behind. We were then told that there were some yellow stains on the doona cover and questioned intensely about them. We had no idea how/why/what they were and the manager was called to inspect the room to see if we had to pay “extra” to wash the sheets. A disappointing way to end a very pleasant stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful. The hotel is in a great central location in Ho Chi Minh City. Breakfast was quite adequate for our needs and set us up for a good day.

The only complaint I have is this selfish idiot who was smoking in his room and set off the fire alarm at 3am - everyone had to leave the hotel because of this selfish moron (guest)

The staff were remarkably helpful and friendly; the rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. The rooftop pool was a lovely quiet place to cool off.

The breakfast was adequate but could be improved with a wider variety of cereals, for instance muesli.

The best thing about Jovia hotel for us was definitely its location, we were able to walk to lots of good restaurants and explore Ho Chi Minh City on foot. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. As was the attached bathroom. There was no option to shut a door between the bedroom and the bathroom, so you will be able to hear your partner using the toilet. We didn't mind that too much tho. The rooftop pool, although quite small, was a great way for us to cool down after a day in the city and on our last day we sat up there, soaking in the views and relaxing in the pool, waiting for our transport to arrive. The staff were friendly, but tbh we didn't talk to them that much. We'd recommend this hotel for a shorter stay in the city :)

Our room had two windows, one in the bathroom looking out onto a side street and one in the bedroom, looking out onto... Nothing. The window was facing a wall so our room ended up being quite dark and feeling a little dungeon-esque. We booked the cheapest room and probably would've payed more to have an actual window so beware of that when you book. The breakfast buffet had very very little vegetarian options, which is why we ended up eating cornflakes most mornings. All the "Vietnamese breakfast" options (noodles, rice, etc) had some kind of meat in them, which we thought was a shame. There was no cheese, so all that was left for us was cornflakes and toast with jam. There was an option to order eggs or pho, but especially for vegans, the breakfast might not be too accommodating...

The location is ideal for visiting the main attractions of HCM city, The staff helpful and welcoming . We booked a Deluxe city view room was to the side of the property and not quite as expected. Large room comfortable bed, daily housekeeping service . The breakfast is between 6 am and 9am if you are not an early riser, there is very limited selection available as food does not appear to be replaced through the service time. Eggs are to order however I requested a boiled egg before 8 am and told they had all gone ! The breakfast service to be honest was like a school canteen and a free for all ,which sadly effects our overall opinion of our stay. This hotel is well used by group tour companies who stay only a couple days, it is busy and can be noisy with people coming and going day and night . The hotel has a roof top pool , very small with just a few chairs and 3 sun beds.

Staff were very helpful, breakfast was delicious, the pool & rooftop were very pleasant & the location of the hotel was perfect. My hotel room was comfortable, the bed was massive, complementary water was provided each day. The hotel was quiet, despite lots of guests & a busy time of year!

Internet was a little sketchy at times, but as I didn't need to work during my stay it was fine. My room looked onto a concrete wall - I had no natural daylight coming in, which was unusual and unexpected. It should have been clearly indicated during the booking process. Ultimately it was fine for me because I was out mostly until sundown each day. However, if I had stayed at the hotel beyond my planned three day visit, I would have requested a different room. This is the main reason I did not score the hotel full marks - otherwise I really enjoyed my stay here.

I am a bacon and eggs man for breakfast. This was was a little scanty; everything seemed fine. The toaster may need rethinking as so many put the tongs into the machine. Its heresy, but Vietnamese coffee is near Undrinkable over roasted crap. The location is nigh on perfect lots within walking distance. I never felt unsafe but the shoe shine boys working the your shoes need repair are a nuisance; and i tolerate the constant massage ? transport? drink?? better than most. Staff were helpful, chatty and knowledgeable. Bes was comfortable and airconditioning efficient and fairly quiet.

Some early morning noise from the alleyway, some construction clanging from about seven till seven every day. There was a water leak from the sink tap that took some tracing, and the toilet behind the seat had some residue build up; . The shower had a few quirks and took little while to run hot but was hot and plentiful. Shower/toilet design is unconventional but works. The key card worked erratically and sometimes took a number of tries and bad language to work. Airconditioning efficient. These are really minor niggles more than real complaints.

Pros: 1. Staff - Able to speak fluent english, Crew at front door also very attentive and helpful especially we are having heavy luggage. 2. Breakfast - Breakfast selection is good, Food taste good. 3. Room - Spacious, Clean & Bright. 4. Location - Walking Distance to some local tourist attraction & eateries such as Ben Thanh Market, Banh Mi Huynh Hoa & etc.

Cons: 1. Breakfast - Breakfast location is at lobby - kind of small 2. Room - Bathtub and the shower area did not have separator with the toilet, once bath, the whole floor are wet. 3. Location - No public transport station nearby, need to walk out to the Ben Thanh Market & cross the main street for bus. 4. Swimming Pool - pool is small and with dry leaves floating. A bit too deep for me.

Good location, couple of hundred metres from the East West brewery which was a pleasant surprise as I'd been to their location a few times in Da Nang. Pool looked inviting and had all day sun and pool towels were available + 4 sun beds. Around 15 mins walk to Bui Vien walking street. Minimart few doors down. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Fresh baguettes, lots of different fruits, sliced ham and you can order eggs any style.

The water was unfortunately only luke warm so I didn't bother shaving and waited until I arrived at my next destination.

The staff were adorable and location is a stone’s throw away from everything in District 1. We were able to still use the pool and facilities after our check out which was so helpful as our flight wasn’t until late evening. We were so grateful for that.

I had some issues communicating with the hotel before our arrival, via the booking app. They just weren’t responding and it was quite stressful as I was relying on them organising a car to pick me up at the airport. However when I alerted them to the fact they were extremely apologetic.
