Breakfast was okay, but not great. One day coffee was stone cold and at times some food was cold. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to many sight seeing attractions. Clean and comfortable accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Jovia, however sadly our stay ended in a disappointing way. Upon checkout we were told that our room needed to be checked, reason being “in case” we left something behind. We were then told that there were some yellow stains on the doona cover and questioned intensely about them. We had no idea how/why/what they were and the manager was called to inspect the room to see if we had to pay “extra” to wash the sheets. A disappointing way to end a very pleasant stay.

I can not speak highly enough of the staff. Very efficient and yet helpful. Good humoured and great at offering up suggestions to improve our visit. The location has convenience stores 2 minute walk away, choice of two, bars and cafes across the road and within a block, the main day market is just five minutes away on foot, the river front and precinct is ten to fifteen minutes walk away. The main inner city attractions such as museums and Independence Palace are also ten to fifteen minute walk away. So very convenient location.

I am quite tall and the surfaces above 1.6m tended to be dusty but under the bed had probably not been vacuumed since the bed was installed!

Staff were welcoming and helpful - assisted when I needed help getting a shipped package through customs. Our room was comfortable and clean. Cleaners were very friendly too! Rooftop pool was a decent size and relaxing in the day, fairly popular spot with other guests sharing the area.

Generally felt a bit ‘under construction’, especially the roof top area which was missing the bar (shown in pictures online). The pool would really benefit from a bar area, we would’ve spent more time up there had it had one! There was a musty smell in our room which didn’t seem to go away during our stay. I think it was coming from the drains in the bathroom. All but one of the ceiling spot lights in the bedroom weren’t working, so it felt a bit dark at night. Could do with a towel rail or hook to hang wet towels on. Bathroom floor got very wet when showering (filled up slightly, might have been a drainage issue).

The hotel is super well located, you can walk practically to all points of interest. The staff was very kind to us at all times. They helped us with all the doubts and were very attentive and pleasant. We were at the hotel twice, upon arrival and the last night, in both cases, they made us an upgrade in the room. Each time better than the last. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, recently renovated. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning works perfectly. The pool is not very big but much more than enough for a good dip after walking around the city all day, and at night it has spectacular views. Without a doubt, the quality-price ratio is TOP. I recommend it 100%!

The Jovia Hotel ticked all the right boxes. The room was clean & comfortable with a nice big window. Cable TV, good WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities & super chilled AC. the bathroom was tastefully decorated with a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Rooms are serviced daily. Location was within easy walking distance to many local sights & lots of eateries close by. The breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Duty & Johnny made sure everyone was well fed at breakfast. Actually all of the Jovia staff make sure you are very well looked after. Highly recommended.

Loved the breakfast, great variety and changing menu. Our large family really enjoyed the Vietnamese and western options, as well as the coffee (my husband is picky and never likes hotel coffee, this was the first time). Rooms were modern and well decorated, AC is fast and walls are thick-- I'm a light sleeper and heard nothing which is rare in hotels, for me. Staff was so warm and friendly, we felt very welcomed. Rooftop pool is small but refreshing and relaxing on a hot day. Fantastic location, walking distance to many main attractions and places to eat.

Room could have used some drawers to help organize items. We wish laundry service was by the kilo, not per item.

The location was exceptional as it was within walking distance to all major attractions. The pool was particulary welcome at the end of a day's sightseeing. The rooms were modern, clean, spacious and comfortable.

Some minor issues - the breakfast was lacking with little variety in eggs (eg. fried or an omelette with no filling) and no bacon or yoghurt. Our room had a bathtub with shower nozzle attached. However, there was no shower screen and the shower nozzle couldn't be secured at head height. There was no way to have a shower without water going all over the floor.

The staff is very cordial and helpful. Breakfast is good with limited options. The location is great with barely a hundred steps away from Ben Thanh market. Many of the other attractions such as the Imperial Palace, War Remnants museum, City Museum are within walking distance. Other city attractions are also very nearby.

Rooms are comparatively small with very less space to organise our baggage. The bath tab is very difficult to access for specially abled people, especially since there is no separate shower space.

Very good location: a stone's throw away from Ben Thanh market and other major attraction, yet is still quiet enough at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well-designed, with universal power sockets at our bed

There was a 3% credit card charge for credit card payment, which shouldn't be there in this day and age. The TV was also not a smart TV and seemed to be non-functional. There were a short of umbrella and we couldn't borrow one

The employees are super friendly, helpful and nice. They allowed my request for late check-in. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable The housekeeping kept the room clean and replaced the towels. The breakfast buffet is so so. There wasn't much choices but it was okay. The hotel is located near a lot of places like restaurants, salons, coffee shops, massage places, etc. A/c is really cold

The wifi is slow and it disconnects from time to time. The bathtub, if filled up, will take some time to drain. The floor will be super messy when you use the shower inside the tub. 2 tiny bottles of water will be given per day and no extra bottles will be provided so better buy in the convenience store Sauna is on maintenance for a few months more.
