- Located near the touristy areas in District 1 which are easily accessible. - Many food options in the vicinity - Quiet even thought the main street can get noisy. - Very friendly and kind staff and owner who will attend to your queries. - Homely and welcoming feel. Feels like returning home - Clean room that is cleaned everyday - Toiletries (Toilet Paper, Toothbrush, Soap, Towels) are replaced everyday - Doors are closed everyday at about 12am, and there will be a personnel on duty to oversee the entrance. You can still leave or enter the premise. - Great value for money

Things to take note: - There is an elevator for the guest. However, it is a small one. You need to climb a small flight of stairs to access it, so do take note if it is an issue for you. The elevator serves the Ground Floor to the 5th Floor. The 6th floor and roof are not accessible by lift. You would need to take stairs up. - The hotel is not accessible by car. It is about a 100m walk from the hotel to the main street. You would have to alight/board your vehicle near the main street. The alley is not sheltered and as such you will need to brave the rain during wet weather. - Safe not working, but owner ensures that there is no non-guests to enter the premise. I feel my items are safe in the room. - There is only 1 key provided. So it can be a hassle for 2 person.

We got a nice room at the 7th floor next to a terrace that every guest could use but we were the only ones there all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is great, not too far from many major sights and in a side street at the beginning of the party street where you hear some of the noise in your room in the evening but not too loud.

Maybe they should change their laundry service provider, our laundry bags were lost and instead we had a shirt that did not belong to us. As compensation we got a discount on the laundry.

Kim runs a smooth operation here and is the sweetest host. Room is large and feels like a studio apartment. Air con works very well. Everything is clean. It’s old school vibes with the dresser and closet. Bathroom is fine and there’s hot water but bring your own soap / shampoo. Laundry available for 30K. Location is right on Bui Vien street. It’s an old building with some cracks and there could be cockroaches, but they killed them for me and always made sure I was safe and comfortable. Still 5 stars for price, value, location, host.

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean, wifi good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged tours for us and gave us discounts for booking through them. The hotel is in the centre of the city so everything is in walking distance. It is in a busy part of town and just off the main night life strip, but we were surprised that this did not disrupt our sleep at night. The lift works well and the shower has hot and cold water. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel location is very central, in District 1. Many amenities are just a short walk away. The Bui Vien street near by is also usually bustling at night. The receptionist Lee, was very nice and gave me a free upgrade to a deluxe room. She was also offering some day trip packages. I signed up for the tour package to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the guide picked me up at the hotel the next day. The price was comparable to what you would get outside the hotel, and the guide was very knowledgeable. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the A/C was cold. I couldn't really hear any noise despite the busy street nearby. Honestly, the room quality was that of a large hotel chain.

The hotel is excellent, as is the girl at the reception, Ly, who did everything to make the stay pleasant: From the cold water she offered me when I arrived, to the information she gave me about day trips, to call a taxi and recommend places for breakfast and to eat at a restaurant just a few steps from the hotel! I really recommend the hotel absolutely! I should add that while it is close to the Walking Street, absolutely nothing can be heard! I was sleeping in complete silence!

The staff are fantastic, helpful and will recommend great places to eat local food. The hotel is clean and secure. We had a great stay , real close to walking street, but the hotel was quiet, which was fantastic. Great food spots nearby and I highly recommend thee Rooster craft beer bar on the corner ,bloody good beer and good spot to watch the world go by. We will come back and stay at the hotel on our return journey home. Thank you Kim Hotel

I can't find a fault,for the location and price.

We had a great time at Kim Hotel. We had the room on the 7th floor with a little roof top terrasse. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. We started a Mekong Delta trip for a couple of days from Kim Hotel and could leave part of our luggage there. When we ran out of cash on a small island without ATM they helped us by transferring money to our homestay. We can't say how grateful we are for so much friendliness.

You should know that the area is a bit noisy at night due to bars and night clubs. But that's not a problem and I think it's hard to find a quiet place in Ho Chi Minh.

Great property to stay at, right in the heart of HCM city. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Close the the Bui Vien walking street yet still quiet in the nights. Would definitely recommend. A lift between floors was definitely a bonus for SEA standards!

The bed was a bit hard but not uncomfortable. Mainly just preferential problems.

This is a great budget hotel, one of the best I’ve stayed in on my six month journey through SEA. Hot water, AC, and WiFi were all perfect. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I got fresh clean laundry back in a few hours and a bubbly welcome every time I walked through the door. It is also amazingly quiet at night for how close it is to the walking street. Stay here.
