The location is excellent, about 5 mins walk to the ancient town. There are tailors and shops right outside the homestay. The popular Madam Khanh Bánh Mí is just 1 min walk away. Cong, the host, and his 2 cute dogs are very friendly :)

The bathroom needs some upgrades and better maintenance. There was no floor towel, hence the floor tiles can get really wet after a shower. The room can be better cleaned, I see dust on the tables. But overall, it's really good value for money. If you are on a tight budget and want a central location with a friendly host, I would recommend this homestay.

Very central . About a 10 min straight walk to the main bridge . Shop nearby to get extra water etc . I drink a lot of water plus made tea , the wonderful Mr CONG did everything he could do to help. From booking trips to answering any questions he could and if not he used Google translator , Alway smiling . He runs the homestay himself and does his best to run it . great value for money , Bed changed and room cleaned every second day but I’m sure if you wanted it done every day mr CONG would be more than happy to help. We did our booking for theBa na Hills with him , got us a private driver , pre bought our tickets for us , booked our transfer from airport on arrival and back to airport . Told us to download the grab app for local taxis . He won’t set you wrong , we had to wake him up one night as we got home late late and not a bother to him 😄

I did read other reviews before I went about bathroom needing a lit bit of attention to detail on cleaning , but it was minor , Beds are hard but I spoke to someone else staying near the beach area and they said theirs were the same . So probably standard in that part of Asia . I like a hard bed so wasn’t a problem for me .

There was nothing missing and the owner of the homestay is very lovely and helps you out if there is something needed!

The location is lovely in a quiet alley/backstreet - far from the craziness that is Hoi An (nowadays). I felt like the area is more like the Hoi An I remember from 20 years ago when I first visited. You can travel by a network of tiny laneways to get anywhere, and see glimpses of local life. Felt very safe. There is a lantern making class/workshop available nearby which is highly recommended - a definite highlight of our stay ([email protected]). The hotel proprietor is really sweet and helpful, and it was a joy to come back to the hotel each evening and be greeted by the little dog who is always in the lobby.

I found the mattress a little hard for my liking, but this is a personal thing - others would love it, no doubt.

Cong was an amazing host, we arrived very early from our bus, and he greeted us and allowed us to check in early. We were able to rent bikes (free) and scooters from him also which was very handy. The location was great, on a quiet road but close to everything. Rooms were nice and clean, and the little balcony was lovely to sit out on. There's also a cute little dog who's very calm but will happily take a pet. Would highly recommend staying here :)

Nothing - very happy with our stay

This homestay definitely deserves a glowing review. The location is close to delicious food, walking streets and the bridge to An Hoi. It is located down a quiet alley and is well signed to assist in finding your way home. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything was high quality and well maintained. Khang and his companion were warm, kind and went out of their way to be helpful. They also arranged for our transportation to the airport when we left town. The price was cheaper than Grab and the ride was comfortable and safe. Without a doubt I would stay here again if given the chance.

Perfection! Lovely couple, with the sweetest little dog, nothing was too much trouble, they did our laundry and cleaned our room every day which In the hot weather makes such a difference to get into a clean bed! They offer massages as well as motor bikes for rental, which we didn't realise until the last day and so they should advertise this more, but even without realising this we thought the stay was 10/10! Would fully recommend.

The homestay was very good. He was nice and the house is really well maintained. Our room was big and had a nice balcony. The location is perfect for everything.

It was very good as mentioned in the positive part, some little things you maybe need to know: the bed was super hard (my personal opinion), the room had little animals which went into my backpack but this is not a showstopper as the this are just really really small site notes ;-) would definitely come back

Quiet location on the edge of the old town. It is down a side street so there is no traffic noise. Free bicycle rental. Scooter rental available at a good price. Taxi to and from Da Nang airport offered ar a price cheaper than Grab. Free bottled water in the fridge in the room. Aircon and separate fan available in the room. I was able to get some post delivered here which was ideal. Owner is lovely and available by WhatsApp if you need anything.

We stayed at Vihn Khang for initially only one night, but we felt so welcome and at home that decided to extend for one more night. Room is spacious, clean and comfy, with a nice balcony, air conditioning, and all the amenities you may need. Beds are big and confortable, and the homestay is perfectly located, near the center but also on a quiet area, which is nice. We were given all the help that we needed, so we can only recommend this place. For us, it was the best place that we stayed in Hoi An. Great value for the money.
