Coco Island Villa & Hotel Ninh Bình is absolutly amazing. Pictures shown on here reflect the reality. The facility is very nice and clean. The staff is courteous and helpful. The sights around Ninh binh are all very close and you can even use the free bikes to get around. During our stay there was a typhoon and we had issues with our further travels. The manager himself went above and beyond to help us organize our new itinerary. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank to the entire team for making us feel comfortable and welcomed.

A beautiful property with very spacious, clean rooms that provided all we needed during our stay. We had our laundry washed and returned very efficiently (they charge per kg), and enjoyed a massage which was excellent. The breakfast is truly the best and offered a variety of food that changes slightly each day, and it was delicious! We were able to rent a scooter to ride around for the day (200,000 vnd) and also used the bicycles for free. It’s easy enough to get a grab into the main town or Tam Coc. It was a little too cold to use the pool during our stay but we would have loved to! The pool area looked great but instead we enjoyed playing billiards and their very mini golf course.

This is a really beautiful resort and such good value. The staff here are genuinely lovely and want to help so much. I'm so grateful to them for going the extra mile when I got an Injury, they found me medicine that made a huge difference. The resort is in a lovely spot surrounded by rice fields. It's a short drive or moped away from Tam Coc (5-10 mins). The bike hire is free and you can hire a moped for 200,000 VND a day which is cheaper than multiple taxis. Riding around on the moped was a highlight because the surrounding area is so beautiful. The gardens are also worth a mention, its like being in a perfectly manicured jungle. Great to see the huge mountain snails, the odd frog, lizard, bat and local bird life as well!

Hotel is located relatively far from the city center, but getting around is easy with Grab. The hotel provides bicycles for guests, although we didn’t use them. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is decent, with eggs freshly prepared by the staff in the breakfast room. The overall property appears well-maintained.

The noise level is quite high, as the sound of passing trains is very noticeable. The bathrooms are not well-maintained, with moldy silicone and dirty grout in the shower. A thorough cleaning is definitely needed. Additionally, the excessive use of room spray was very unpleasant, as it was sprayed all over the room and on the bed.

Amazing small hotel in a quiet location just a bike ride from Tam Coc where you can find lots of incredible sights, good restaurants and cafes. We loved the pool, the message, our spacious room with bathtub and the extrodinary staff who were extremely child friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the fresh fruit drinks and were super happy with the services the staff organized for us during our stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a more peaceful place around Ninh Binh and does not mind a (bike) ride every once in a while.

Just smaller things that could still be improved: 1) Coordinating the room cleaning times while guests are out exploring, 2) adding a bit more spice to the dishes on the menu (we ordered food quite often and found quite a few dishes to be a bit bland)

Lovely hotel villa with idyllic location and beautiful surroundings. Gardens and outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained with great leisure activities for fun (pool table, mini golf swimming pool). Wonderful staff are extremely hospitable and friendly and were more than happy to cater out every need. Accommodation was amazing with nice spacious room and incredibly comfortable king size bed with the best pillows ever! Slept like a dream. Bathroom is great with nice spacious shower and good amenities. Great breakfast selection with delicious food and great coffee! 10/10 would highly recommend

Literally the only thing I could critique is that the bedroom needed a bit of dusting with cobwebs on the hanging lanterns and a bit of dust around. Otherwise everything was perfect!

A great, brand new resort. We really felt so good during our stay and the service was awesome. I can totally recommend this stay. The rooms are very nice , the pool has a perfect size, you can train your golf putting skills (😁) and taste some food during and get good drinks during the whole day. All in all a perfect stay!

Everything’s great!

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the bustling streets of Ninh Binh or Hanoi, I highly recommend staying here. The staff were absolutely wonderful and friendly, with a special mention to David, who was so lovely and welcoming. Every evening, returning from our adventures felt like coming back to our own little oasis. The breakfast offered a great selection, the alcoholic beverages were great, and the massages are definitely worth trying. We also fell in love with our spacious room—it had plenty of space for large suitcases, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend checking out this hotel for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The location is so peaceful, you are surrounded by lush green gardens and don't forget the beautiful mountain views in the background. The staff are excellent, they were always friendly and willing to help. They have an in house massage service which was only a few steps from our room as well and we had excellent massages. Our room was so clean and we loved every inch of it. The design is so beautiful, not just the rooms but the whole place is gorgeous. Highly recommend for those who want a peaceful escape away from all the noise.

My husband would have loved it even more if there was a gym on site.

Breakfast was good! Loved the pho. The staff were helpful and gave us good tips about the area. Plus we enjoyed the free bikes from the hotel and used them to see the sights. Facilities are excellent and we loved all the plants around the pool – gorgeous.

We had dinner at the hotel one night which wasn't great. Overcooked beef. Bland papaya salad. I found the staff a little too casual and unprofessional. They didn't do anything wrong but whenever I wanted help with something, I felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking. Another thing, the bath tub in the room was a big draw card behind booking it, but the water boiler isn't big enough to fill the bath, so that was a bit disappointing.
