It is a beautiful resort, we had a bungalow right at the beach. It’s a paradise. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Vietnam, one of the very few offering cheese for breakfast. The staff is awesome. As the other tourists went to the sunbeds at the beach to “reserve” them, we just took our Sun bed matresses from our terrace to a palm tree. The staff brought us a Sun umbrella. How cool is that? Service ist great as well.

The place is not new at all. Our aircon was quite useless. No matter what temperature we set up, it didn’t really cool down the room. The bathroom had a shower Curtain. I hat that. And no matter how hard we tried, the bathroom was flooded after every single Shower. So I really didn’t like that.

The resort is perfectly located, right on the beach which is beautiful and a short walk to excellent seafood restuarants. The staff were most accommodating and the check-in and check-out was easy. The breakfast was brilliant and the options at the bar and restaurant were very good. The pool was fantastic and towels were provided. The size of the room was great, and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was also large and well appointed.

The place needs a general facelift especially around the pool and some of the older accommodations. The beachfront villas were excellently presented. The brick surrounds of the pool were uneven and a potential trip hazard.

Cannot beat the beach front location, very little rubbish during our stay compared to other areas we visited Bed was very comfortable and room clean and spacious We moved on to Melia VinPearl afterwards and while it a stunning resort we wish we now stayed longer here. Location is right between the two main hubs of town so cheap taxi or easy walk to the night markets or up the other end to King Kong Market!

Breakfast doesn’t really cater to westerners although omelette station, basic fruit and toast available As one of the original resorts in Phu Quoc the hotel does need a bit of maintenance especially veranda areas but the rooms are still clean and comfortable

A pretty good beach with almost nobody using it and a large pool that was almost always empty made for a very relaxing few days. The breakfast has a good range of options focused more on Asian dishes (but we are in Asia so if you expect any different then maybe stay at one of the western branded hotels). The rooms are quite large and feel very private. Overall this Resort was much larger than we expected but still offered plenty of places to find a quiet spot. It was great value for money for a 4 star and was an easy 15 minute walk to either the night market area of the King Kong market for some tourist shopping.

There is nothing bad to say about this Resort. Like much of the accommodation we found in Vietnam they could do with a bit of updating, but even though some parts looked a little worn, nothing looked dangerous or totally run down.

Beach bungalow was literally right on the beach, ocean was easy to swim in, calm water and not cold. Reception was nice along with staff, room service would benefit if you could order via an app as communication was sometimes difficult. Airport shuttle included was a bonus.

Is a little tired, needs a refresh on paint, pool area could do with some updating (water blasting old concrete to present better) Some photos showed a bar on the beach which has been gutted now which is a shame since it was our main reason for booking above other options. Restaurant is only busy during breakfast would provide a better ambience if this had people use it.

Amazing! Quiet spot, great room (thanks for the upgrade!), gorgeous pool, wonderfully helpful staff thank you! Breakfasts were good with loads of variety. It was great being away from the city and it was very easy to get in to town using a Grab. We went at the wrong time of year to make any use of the beach but the pool was excellent!

perhaps the pool being open a tad later, we were very quiet and would have liked a dip a tad later

over priced meals but that’s the same in all the resorts. don’t tend to clear away empty glasses and plates. but this was very minor and we would stay again!

spacious nice friendly staff good breakfast variety, beach was very nice close to shops, bars etc. lovely place.

when I was there the sea was not very clean on one day I think there is so much fishing and they throw their garbage overboard

After reading the reviews, I was kind of prepared for the worst, but everything was great! The hotel was not crowded, and it was very peaceful and quiet. My aim was to "open the door and see the sea/beach/palms", which was totally achieved. We had a seaview bungalo, which was very clean and quite spacious. The pool is quite large and clean. The beach was clean, hotel staff are cleaning it several times a day. The sea was all right, just one day due to the wind change there were more rubbish, but it is not hotel fault, and they really try to keep it clean.

Actually, we enjoyed everything. Maybe the breakfast might be more diverse every day, but it was completely enough.

Location is great, beautiful sea front. but its not swimming beach, its more for view. Its older resort past its heyday in terms of decor etc (looks dated) , but quite well maintained. Rooms were comfortable, food was very good, staff (especially cafe and housekeepers) were very kind and helpful. Staff were Really helpful to assist us in planning sightseeing day trips. Overall good value and had a nice time. Stayed at beach front bungalows and garden view rooms.

Some fresh paint across property would help improve appearance. Room furniture such as deck chairs in balcony were old/not so clean. Small improvements would help improve overall experience.
