I love Phu Yen and had the chance to visit the province 6 times so far. I stayed at Sala Grand TuyHoa hotel 3 times and really like the place. The facilities are great. The room is spacious and comfy. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Renting a motorbike is super easy and can be done at the hotel directly. The location is right in front of the beach and they have a nice café (on the beach) where you can easily do some remote work.

If you have a room facing the beach and companies are doing events / team building activities, it can get really noisy as the rooms aren't sound proof.

The new Grand Sala is a Beautiful, new hotel on the beach with a full service restaurant across the street, and a rooftop bar with food at the hotel. We held a family dinner for 12 people at the restaurant and the service was exceptional! Food, both western and eastern, was good and the price was very reasonable. The manager gave us a private room because a loud wedding and other parties were at the restaurant that evening. We were impressed with the staff and gave them a 20% tips on the bill and they were very appreciative. The breakfast buffet was good, and we were impressed with the free coffee bar that served cappuccinos and tea anytime. The bar has a band playing music with multiple local singers; the sound system was a bit too loud!

The hotel’s “whatever” style bathroom is not good. Water spilled all over the floor when you take a shower, and it’s dangerously slippery when you have to climb in and out of the large, deep bathtub to take a shower. This wet bathroom style is likely not for the American travelers. Furthermore, we stayed at the next door Sala building when it was new. We didn’t want to stay there again because our friends stayed there recently complained that it was smelled of moldy bathroom.

Breakfast is so so and not many special Asian foods. The staff is excellent and attentive. In particular, Ms. Tram and Ms. Diem from Guest relations, Mr. Phong, and Qui from the reception, and the driver picked up and dropped off my family. We have a wonderful stay and a lovely hotel. We will come back next time.

The extra bed was quite old and scratched in our penthouse room. Shampoo, condition, and shower gel bottles need to be cleaned (they were sticky when I hold them). No lotion!

A wonderful one night stay, even though we didn't really get the beachfront view.

Nice new hotel, well designed, probably the most "international" hotel in Tuy Hoa city. Great views of the sea from the rooms, good breakfast, nice little bar and pool on the roof. Staff very friendly and professional. Note: there are 2 Sala hotels right next to each other, I stayed at Sala Grand, the other is the older Sala Beach Hotel.

Not the fault of the hotel, but there is a public park across the street next to the Sala restaurant, and at night it is often noisy from "singers" and other performers; annoying, but not a disaster. Other than that, no problems.

Amazing ! I was travelling a lot in Vietnam and i saw so many hotels around the world already . But the Sala Grande is my absolutely favorite from now on! Me and my friend spent two nights in there and we are sure we want to repeat as much as possible . The staff is lovely, the rooms are fabulous, the location fantastic. Defenetly i will come back, definitely i will bring my friends and family to enjoy this wonderful place. Seems i felt in love with that hotel. Thank you Sala Grande staff, thank you GM for a unforgettable stay in Tuy Hoa !

Only one thing. The bread on breakfast should be a bit better. But its not really that important.

The hotel is brand new so everything is sparking and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning silent. Free WiFi was excellent. The staff are very smiley and welcoming. The hotel is just across the - quiet - road from the beach which is lovely, with nice walks through the gardens. We had rooms with a side view to the beach from the balcony. The breakfast buffet was excellent though catering mainly for Asian tastes. The hotel's location is great as its an easy walk into town and there are many excellent local restaurants, especially down on the fishing harbour. One point to note is that most of the rooms (on the 6th floor anyway) are communicating, which is great for families but I have always found such rooms to be far noisier than ordinary ones so maybe this is something to consider when booking.

There were no towel rails in the bathrooms, even though there was plenty of space, I found this bizarre! Also no moisturiser was provided in the toiletries which is unusual. The wardrobe contained just two coat hangers, I had to remove the bath robes from their hangers to obtain more. The instructions for the in-room safe are inadequate, we had to call for help to open. The door to the balcony didn't lock and the balcony was furnished with just one chair, this isn't good for a double room though I believe the rooms with full sea views do merit two chairs! The chairs would benefit from some cushions. The reception staff's command of English could be better.

It's in a perfect location! If you are looking for a sunrise ocean view in Phu yen- this is your hotel, look no further! Really warm and helpful staff- you will have no trouble. I celebrated my birthday with them and it felt like home! :) Ms. Lang from guest relations was extremely helpful, she made sure I have no trouble while exploring new places as a solo female traveller and was always available on call for help! Big shout out to Mr. Dung from the restaurant - he was very attentive to my dietary needs and was a wonderful company to talk to! I never felt like I am eating alone in a restaurant. He speaks English which was a plus. while you are here, I would highly recommend you go for the hot stone massage- Ms Hang from spa services is highly trained and it was such a relaxing spa. Best part- staff here speaks English!

We enjoyed the Hotel very much. The beach club and pool were superb. The 3-item laundry service everyday was exceptional. All the staff were extremely helpful and wonderful to chat to. There were odd language barriers but our translater on our phones helped.

We found the weddings sometimes a little loud. We accept that is probably a cultural difference. But not offensive.

The view from the room was phenomenal! Lovely and accomodating staff, always greet you with a smile.

The spa was a let down. The room was boiling hot, one therapist was coughing and sniffling the whole time and probably too unwell to be working. The quality let down the hotel as it was not up to their standards.
