Amazing place next to the lagoon. I had an amazing 5 nights there. Quiet bungalows, behind the dune, just a few minutes walls to the lagoon or beach on the other side of the peninsula. Amazing view from the room! Big rooms with a french window on one side. A beautiful night sky, a rising orange moon, and morning birds' twitter are additional attractions. Very clean place, with snow-white bed sheets, and towels. With stunning views. Good food in the hotel restaurant. If you have a chance, choose the full board option. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful. Although no one is speaking English. But with Google Translator you can survive. If you looking for a quiet, clean place with a very central localization and helpful staff - it is a great place to stay. *I went there for a relaxing stay, I don have any information for kite surfers regarding available equipment, or service.

- The location of the property, just in front of the bay with behind the Dune of sand and this incredible atmosphere that can feel: you are in the human size complex or Hotel, and not feeling like a camping site. - this incredible sky, you can see at night time all the stars that shine so bright and the constellations, I mean, it’s breathtaking. - The staff, particularly the Saif Khadijah, the director of security, Mohammed, and Ghlam the director of the place made this day for me, the most relaxing one and an unforgettable stay in Dakhla. Now I have a problem I want to come back!!!!

Very clean room, hot shower available, very friendly and helpful staff, great local moroccan cuisine, perfect location for practicing sports or just to walk in the desert or simply relax. I really did enjoy my stay. Thank you!

A bit disorganised and the place feels a little bit run down. No possibility to drink a beer.

location convenient for travel

The management was awful and I am still waiting for the repayment of a second payment. I stayed at the property on 23 January 2023. We were a party of three but with two bookings. I booked a bungalow to myself on one booking. My travelling companions booked two bungalows for two people. We arrived at about 17.00 to be told we could not check in for another two hours as the ‘owner’ was not there yet. First of all they wanted us to stay in threes person bungalow- not what we booked. We had to wait for two hours whilst it was getting colder, for the old gentleman to arrive to check us in. He looked at both bookings on our phones and we showed him the bookings on his phone. But he seemed to make up his own price of 650 MAD each. We did get a bungalow each although there were problems with one of them. Dinner we were told was at 21.30. We also filled out the official police and travel forms in our names with passport details. More problems when we checked out next morning. I was booked for two nights but as service and management was so appalling I refused to stay a second night. However as I booked for two nights I was willing to pay for this amount which the hotel took from my account a few days later. We were made to pay the amount for one night 650 MAD on checking out. The old man wrote this amount on a piece of tissue paper, not a proper invoice. He could not operate the credit card machine properly and we had too input the amount and do this individually. He did not issue us with slips to acknowledge payment. Thus I paid twice for my stay. On returning to Jersey I tried to reclaim this second payment via Booking.com. The hotel claimed I had not stayed there at all. This despite the evidence of my credit card payment and the forms that had been filled in with my name on. I also emailed the hotel but have received no reply.

I have studied tourism and my family own a 2 hotels I've worked in - because of this i have never written a negative review because I am well aware it is impossible to please everyone. It is also important for us europeans not to act like snobs when we’re traveling. But his time i really have to say something: 1) everyone was very nice and accomodating until it was time to check out then they quickly changed. It begun with the old man taking out a piece of paper and writing numbers on it - i said no no I have a currency exchange app on my phone what you’re writing is not the correct exchange rate. But since he doesn’t speak english and is probably too old to understand what an app is anyway, i called the young guy who supposedly speaks some english (FYI he don’t). On call with him he is not only screaming and threatening me but most importantly he sends me a picture saying price for 1 night is 1293 MAD (considering i stayed 3 nights he tried to make me pay 3879 MAD = 350 €) and that’s when i totally lost my temper. I said it clearly states on my booking confirmation that i should pay 162 €, give me someone who can speak english to avoid misunderstandings. He screams some more and has the audacity to command that i not only pay him but speak in french with him - he is the one working as a manager for a supposedly 4 star hotel (which it actually doesn’t meet the requirements for) it is HIS responsibility to be able to communicate with his guests. Anyway, I can only assume they saw an opportunity because i am a young woman travelling alone plus i was pressed for time and since they were the ones returning me I had no way to get to the bus station before paying them first. In the end I had to pay or miss my bus so I caved and told them I would contact booking because this is NOT ok. 2) I am updating now because due to the negative review they have sent me another payment request (48h later at that lol) for an additional night for late check out supposedly!!!
