nice hotel at the lake side - so close to the open air opera/theatre, with a pretty lovely breakfast, so easy to go for a nice walk just outside of it.

there was theater on that night and we could hear it and really had no clue what was going on, but a quick call to the front desk and we got ear plugs and it was all good. also the parking outside was bit nuts, so busy and we did not know where we could even park and it was bit confusing. but the staff explained it to us later and we were able to park our car.

This hotel is in a perfect location for anyone attending the Bregenz Festival. It is steps from the train station and steps from the festival venues. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. We did not take the costly breakfast, but we had a nice lunch on the terrace.

The cost is excessive for the quality of the hotel and what it offers. It is a comfortable, but not luxury hotel by any means, but the cost (at least during the Festival) was double what it should have been.

Everything was ok. The hotel is located among parks and Bodensee so provides a great opportunity for a stroll. Rooms are comfortable with very nice beds. Breakfast was diverse and very tasty.

Just next door to the hotel is a casino and the whole parking in front of the hotel is dedicated to casino guests. The hotel parking is located 100m from the hotel entry.

The location is SUPER EASY. If you are traveling by train and you want to go to the casino and the opera, this is the perfect space. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. One night we had drinks at the bar and the our server was very accommodating of my cocktail requests. We had breakfast one day and I'd say it was both delicious and relatively expensive. Overall the service was fantastic. Oh and the lake is pretty and conveniently walkable. Thank you Grand Hotel Bregenz!!

Frankly, I felt underdressed. We were traveling in summer and I did not bring any fancy clothes. This seems like a fancy pants kind of place, where you might dress like 007 or a soprano diva. We were just the trashy-casual Americans. Sorry about that, Grand Hotel. Also, we did not go to the casino or the opera, which I feel was a missed opportunity. Definitely plan ahead!

Very nice hotel, room was specious and clean, bathroom had enough toiletries (L'occitane), location was amazing with great walks near by and lake is a min away. Both hotel and area are dog friendly.

I saw reviews regarding cigarette smell – when we entered the room, the smell was there but I think it comes from probably joint ventilation with Casino. All you have to do is open window for 2 min.

Location was good. Everything inside the hotel was very luxurious. Nice creating with a glass of Prosecco.

The grounds were unkept with ugly weeds & tall patchy grass. Also service on patio was poor, after 10 minutes had to find them to take an order (only 1 other table of people) paid a very high price for a cup of tea that was extremely strong (had no option to pull tea out of pot). Had to find him again to ask for hot water because I couldn’t drink it that strong. His excuse was he likes it that strong!

great location, right by the lake and edge of town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Lovely rooms and good breakfast. Hotel spotless , great showers large TV, adjacent to a casino if you like that sort of thing. Lovely walks along the lake and in to town, parking right outside .

had some weird meet and greet guy, he was lovely but very strange to have someone greeting you and taking you to a table to check in , maybe it's a new thing. Sauna did not work, was reported by another guest but we left before it was fixed.

The quality of the room was excellent, and the bathroom was particularly well-furnished plus we were still able to open the windows if/as needed (a big plus in Europe, even in winter). Nicely done and the bar fridge contained a good selection. The beds were very comfortable, with the mattress and pillows being firm (not too firm). Just right.

Our room overlooked the car park, but nothing of concern otherwise.

The location is just fantastic, the hotel design is modern and tasteful, the gym, sauna and the swimming pool are very Ok. In general it is a very nice place.

The reception employees (2 out of 3) were somehow salty and I would not rate the interactions as friendly but rather cold. Although we specifically asked the room service to remove the sweets from the minibar, they were all back the following night and partially were charged to the invoice. The room temperature was not manageable - AC did not work, heating could not be adjusted so it was simly too hot.

Hotel is really huge, has loads of visiters, really crowded all the time. All fascilities are modern and sophisticated. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms and beds. Pets-friendly. Has it's own huge parking. Located in 5 min walk to the Lake with several restaurants and famous stage on the water, 10 min walk to the city center.
