The room we had was very sizeable with a couch along the window that gave a great view over the city of Wuppertal. The Luisenviertel is in walking distance (< 10 min) and so is one of the stations on the Schwebebahn. Staff was excellent, super friendly and accommodating. There is a little free parking on the circle in front of the hotel, but plenty more in the paid garage, of which the price is reasonable. Dinner in the restaurant was fine, but the portions far too large. Breakfast buffet was excellent for the price.

There is really not much to like. The hotel is an excellent place from which to visit Wuppertal or if you are in need of a stay in the area.

My Germany is very poor but all the staff were very kind and spoke English to us. They explained everything clearly and we had zero problems. WiFi great. Car parking is easy for a small overnight charge. There are some free spaces if you are lucky to find them empty when you arrive. It is walkable to the town, and Ohligsmuhle schwebebahn station.

My only disappointment is that on the breakfast buffet the first day there were waffles, but not on subsequent days. Otherwise breakfast provided all you would expect.

We enjoyed dinner in a genuine Italian Restaurant Taormina which is only 3 minutes walk. - [ ] If you are lucky enough you can park your car in front of hotel free of charge (but only likited to 6 places I guess) - [ ] The bath was very clean and big enough. - [ ] The room was well designed and clean. - [ ]

Simply… Nothing to improve

The hotel is quintessential German as far as efficiency goes. Checking in and out process was superb, and friendly young staff knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms are spacious, quiet and well appointed. AC is such a pleasure in hot summer, and beautifully cool and odour free. There is a nice "green" feeling across all the hotel features and processes, which seem genuine. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced, and really really good. The restaurant was super clean, staff were very efficient and friendly and someone has to share the secret of the pancake/flapjacks. Just superb. Underground parking tight, but good.

If I had to nitpick, there was the last guests cool drink bottle still under the bed, and a few sweet papers behind the curtain. Housekeeping needs to be a bit careful, but the cleanliness was very good despite this tiny glitch.

Comfortable room, nice view, good breakfast, helpful staff.

Hotel had computer virus and sent phishing attempt via booking app. Heating was not working (cold days following hot period in Apr so they switched the AC system to cooling and when switched back to heating it was not functioning correctly). received some small electric heaters which was ok.

Loved the hotel! Its location was very convenient, being close to the HBF and the city center. What I liked the most was the cute interior, especially adorned with the Christmas decorations - super cute. I also had a room with an amazing city view! The breakfast exceeded my expectations; it wasn't just a basic breakfast, but they had so much more to offer. Highly recommended!

Amazing breakfast, huge rooms, quiet place, nice sports facility, lovely green space outside, great location for city centre walks or train station

Literally just 1 thing, the room was bright in the morning because it did not have black out courtains

Great location to explore Elberfeld on foot, access to the Schwebebahn, Historical City Hall and Schwimmoper Public Pool. The breakfast is perfection, home-made breads and cakes, spreads, muslis, juices any many more - invites to start the day leisurely. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, it's quiet and the beds are comfortable.

Block-out curtains could help to sleep in longer in the brighter months. All else was great!

Modern and spacious hotel perfectly located, nicely decorated rooms, very comfortable beds as well as pillows and duvets, excellent breakfast with a very large choice, very kind hotel staff, free service of healthy extras at the reception such as freshly made detox water every day and local fresh fruit (apples and pears), free entrance to the public swimming pool with saunas next to the hotel.

Taste of coffee was the only negative point of otherwise excellent breakfast

The staff was very helpful and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is close to the center with walking distance to train station and to the center. The breakfast has a good spread. You can also use the underground parking with a per day charge at the reception.
