This was a last minute booking due to the original one cancelling. We arrived 1am and they had someone available to check us in which was the most stressful part of our trip. We were there for less than half a day but it was perfect for what we needed. Right across the road is the free buses back to the airport as well :) so don't worry about another uber cost there.

We weren't 100% sure if our bedding had been changed. We had blood stains on the sheets and on the top cover and ended up sleeping without any blankets that night and turning the heater on.

It was close to the airport.

It was way expensive to take a taxi or Uber less than 2 miles from airport to this hotel.

Great personnel, very kind, welcoming and going above and beyond. Rooms were clean and cozy and felt safe. Perfect solution if you need to sleep over on budget in a somewhat walkable distance from the airport. In the night, the airport traffic was as noticeable (and definitely not waking me up, as some others tend to describe here).

Just a nitpick, but the shower valve is of an unusual type. You need to pull it to start the water flow, but it felt so weird to pull it that hard for the first time... So much so I had to ask in the reception late at night...

The room was cleaner than expected, and the courtyard was clean and well put together. There's a gate to get into the courtyard + rooms, so it felt pretty safe. The room I stayed at had a fridge which was very convenient as I was traveling with heat sensitive items. The location is very close to the airport, so it's a good spot to stay the night for an early flight the following day. Just be aware that; due to it's location, arriving/departing aircraft can be very loud. I'm a fairly light sleeper myself, but I managed to sleep through most of the evening by wearing wireless earbuds and listening to a video or a podcast. If you don't mind the noise, then it's definitely a good spot to spend the night without having to spend a lot of money.

The bedside lamp in my room didn't turn on, but it's okay as there are other ways to have ample light in the room. The only outlet for charging my phone was by the TV. It would've been nice to have one by the bed so I can charge my phone throughout the night and have it within arms reach. I also wish the curtains closed all the way as some of the lights from outside were coming into the room, I would've liked a little more privacy.

Clean simple older property, great for overnights between connecting flights or overnighting before picking up a rental car next day. Friendly staff. There's food about 10 mins away by foot. They don't have an airport shuttle but it's close to the Avis and Hertz and you could sneak on their buses.

Nothing when you factor in the price and convenience.

Airport transportation was easy taking free shuttle with the Herz car rental shuttle located across the street from this hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean. The gentleman who signed me in was extremely helpful and delightful. I would stay here again and I'm an older woman traveling alone most often.

I couldn't find the main entrance. There was a gate that was open and I entered but didn't know where the main office was and I had to shout to find someone. There needs to be a sign on that gate to show people that the main office/window is around the corner. This part was a little scary for me as I was afraid to leave my luggage unattended and look around. I had started to climb stairs with my luggage looking for main office when the attendant finally appeared to help me. I didn't know it but climbing those stairs would have brought me to more rooms.

Great price and location! You can take the free shuttle from the airport to Hertz and then walk over to the motel. I actually walked into a suite with two rooms and three beds, it was massive, kind of a nice surprise! Was comfortable and clean, good A/C, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron, pretty courtyard outside with flowers. I just started a night so it suited me

The area isnt the greatest, food and shops are ten minute walk away. I checked in late and would've felt a little unsafe if there hadnt been another party outside with me checking in too. There's no key card lock on the gate to get to the rooms.

I liked the fact this hotel is so very close to LAX airport. Skyways doesn't have its own shuttle service so, we took the Hertz Rental Car Shuttle which left us right across the street from Skyways. It was so easy, and it worked out great. Our room was very clean and roomy. There is also a very nice courtyard on the premises. There is a small, Greek restaurant right next door which looked nice. We did not have the time to try it. The planes stopped flying overhead around 11:00 pm. No problem having quiet after that. We would most certainly return to Skyways. It's affordable, compared to many other hotels in the area. One must go there with the mindset that this is more of a "motel", no frills establishment. It's a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

There was no telephone in our room. It's not an issue in the day and age of the cell phone, but, it's something to be aware of if this is important to you.

The hotel is within walking distance of rental car companies. The room was spacious and clean. Other than the airplanes flying overhead my room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the refrigerator, air conditioner and windows which opened. I also used the free onsite parking.

A microwave would have made the room perfect. I have lived near airports before so hearing the planes overhead did not bother me, but it might bother other guests who are not used to it.

It was a nice little room with modern decor. The center court area was pleasant even though we only passed through it as we came and went, it was what you would want staying in L.A.

It is in the flight path for the airport, so there was a constant stream of plans landing, but you get used to it after a while and it didn't keep me or my partner up or interrupt our sleep.
