I like the location because it is walking distance to the beach. It is also walking distance to the Jefferson Davis presidential library and museum. I like its swimming pool. The breakfast is ok, but not exceptional.

I didn't like the street that we had to cross was busy with fast moving cars. It's was hard to cross that street to get to the beach.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, right outside the busy area of Beach Blvd. Housekeeping kept up the room every day. Also, having a larger mini fridge was great since we had plenty of snacks from our drive into town.

Room was clean but could use a deep clean, walls and window were a little dirty from peoples hands, there was some mildew in the coffee pot, rust in the microwave was a little off putting.

Best location, best staff, most comfortable bed ever. Beach access and pier access easy. The pool is very nice. Never had to wait for staff to check us in or out. Our room was perfect with a fantastically comfortable, firm mattress, and they didn't skimp on pillows. This was our second time staying here, and we will come back again. We walked to the Waffle House for a steak dinner, and it was perfect, too.. Also, there's a gas station half a mile away that has the most affordable fuel we've seen, a great, convenient place to fuel up.

I wish we could've stayed longer!! Next time, I won't book my room through Booking.com because I wasn't able to get rewards points or any discount.

Ms. Tonya at check in was very joyful to each customer that walked in. She welcomed them and made check in quick and easy. The hotel was very nice and clean on both interior and exterior. The free breakfast was delicious and there was so much to choose from. The waffle bar was the BEST! The hotel was very accommodating to us needy customers. When we asked for more towels and blankets they gladly provided them in literally five minutes. we also got parking right in front of our room, which is really convenient. Will be staying here again!

I wish they had a broom in the rooms for the amount of sand that ends up on the ground. I am sure we could've asked for one, but we would've needed it for the whole weekend!

Nothing the staff had control of, but the person next to me brought a little barking dog and left it alone in the room all day and half the night. It’s a no pets allowed place and people are just inconsiderate and really shouldn’t be pet owners. Also, the sheer amount of people smoking pot.. it wafts into the rooms and makes the rooms smell awful.

Our stay was great! The staff was amazing and very helpful! The beach was 500 ft from the hotel and very convenient!!!! The Reef was recommended by the staff and it was perfect!

Bathroom a little outdated ...but still very clean! Not complaining though!!!

Very cool old beach inn with a lot of charm. The staff were amazing, the grounds and pool area were well kept. The staff gave us a great suggestion for dins, a place called The Reef. It was exactly what we were looking for. The next morning we were able to walk the coast and pier before we ventured on to our next destination.

The breakfast but i guess this is a standard breakfast in USA. everything was cleaned and ready but for european visitors, the food just does not fit our habits ... But again, the staff was profesionnal and everything was extremely clean

Everything! Well kept and clean Inn. Beautiful location directly across from the beach; able to walk easily ! Lovely pool that was immaculately clean with plenty of chairs and tables. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was hot and ample. Our room was perfect to back right up to for ease of luggage, etc, availability! The room was comfortable l.Bed, shower, amenities great! Would definitely recommend it! Great value for this lovely area!

Great location, right on the beach. Plenty of parking spaces. Greeted and welcomed and booked straight in without any problems. Had a problem with our first room, we were moved to a better room, with no questions asked. The rooms are dated, but they were clean, and the beds were super comfy. All the staff were pleasant. Breakfast was nice and hot, and the breakfast lady kept it stocked up.

The rooms could do with a fresh lock of paint. Also, holes in the walls could be filled in, too look better.
