restaurant staff were excellent in terms of customer service

spa and leisure facilites felt tired and not in need of upgrade

Stayed in Queen room and it was brilliant. Very Spacious, comfy bed, brilliant tv. Very nice and modern bathroom too. Staff are all brilliant. Katey at reception was very helpful during check in. Despite the poor lunch the girl Isla did a brilliant job staying on top of things while it was busy. Spa facilities are brilliant. We visited twice and enjoyed the Pool, sauna, Steam room and the jacuzzi. Very clean too. Residents bar area is lovely for an evening drink. Can get too comfy and stay all night too. Breakfast was great. I seen a few complaints about it on here, however thumbs up from us. Great selection and very tasty.

Room can get a bit warm at night, however there is a radiator that can be adjusted :) Lunch menu isn’t great, bit pricey for what it is and wasn’t that great food to be honest. general service was a bit slow, however it did look like they were a bit short staffed.

Paid £24 for breakfast for two. Our timing was poor as some items were due to be replenished. However, staff were alert and constantly checked buffet was topped up. Disappointed ‘scrambled egg ‘ had to be pre ordered. Didn’t have time to wait. On reflection, don’t think we would purchase breakfast again.

We made a few specific requests to Hotel, all of which were met. Staff were amazing. So helpful. Unfortunately, lower bar/ breakfast area is currently undergoing refurbishment. This resulted in having to go to The Grill (Level One). Although a lift was available, the walk did cause my husband some difficulty. Cost of beverages. 😱

The Breakfast was just below par in my opinion. Bacon over cooked, the sausage I ate tasted off, the eggs did not look appetising at all, and I have never seen such small potato scones anywhere ever. Personally not wanting Mushroom with rosemary etc for breakfast. I paid £60 for breakfast for 2 over 2 days, we didnt go the 2nd day as the 1st was awful. I would never pay for breakfast again and I would be reluctant to try other food based on the standard of the breakfast

Room was great, had the cheapest room but still had an amazing bathroom with bath and shower, a hallway and a bedroom separated by French style doors. Location is good, about 2 mins drive from the motorway and set on top of a hill with amazing views. Receptionist was very pleasant on arrival and waiting staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a lovely large sofa / lounge area in the bar so if you are planning on socialising outside the room this is great. The pool was amazing - good size with chairs to lounge on and a jacuzzi. Steam room and sauna were also great with a very cold shower next to them! Gym had a variety of cardio and weight machines with free weights as well - pretty good for a hotel gym.

It is not up to normal Hilton standard in the bar / restaurant. Ordered a cocktail which came as alcohol and cordial. They did swap this for another drink. Compared to other Hilton’s where there have been skilled bar staff in this area it was a little disappointing. One meal didn’t come at the expected standard however this was removed from the bill. It felt like they were short of staff/ short of skilled staff.

Property is easy to get to, and although close to housing it feels more country. The staff were exceptional from the beginning, everybody said hello which was a nice touch. Buffet breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and you don’t have to wait around for food. Room was great size and option of bath and separate shower which adds more class. Will definitely be returning again.

Only downfall would be pool facilities, although good size pool and has sauna/steam room it is smaller so does fill up quite quickly. But still really enjoyed the use of facilities.

We arrived late, our flight delayed. Connie on reception was exceptional. She hurried through booking because we only had minutes before room service closed. The restaurant has closed earlier. Connie then went through to make sure an order for food could still be done. So, Connie is a star as far as we are concerned. She was not on reception when we booked out so we could not repeat our thanks for the effort she made on our behalf. Great customer service from Connie. Other staff were also friendly and welcoming.

Although edible, the cooked breakfast offering could have been warmer and refreshed more often.

On arrival I was greeted with a warm friendly smile from the receptionist who was very helpful. I found that all staff were bright cheery and very friendly throughout especially in the restaurant! I was there celebrating my friends 50th birthday. The resteraunt staff presented the cake and encouraged the guests to sing Happy Birthday and presented the cake in a lovely manner which my friend was delighted with. I also liked the price of the dinner, bed & breakfast package which is excellent value for money. I had originally booked a twin room but ended up with a Queens Suite. The room was easy to axcess and presented very well with clean facilities and a comfortable Queens size bed. I had a restful night's sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities were a welcome delight. Breakfast was Well presented with an excellent choices for continental and cooked. Ample tea and coffee available. The Hotel presents very well for its age and is very clean and smells fresh throughout combined with excellent value for money.

The resteraunt food was slightly disappointing especially for the price! My food was luke warm however the service made up for it. The spa as always offers beautiful views over to the Ochil hills however beginning to feel worn and dated. Patches of tiling missing in the pool. Changing rooms still present well.

Food in restaurant is quite overpriced for quality and standard of food but staff where lovely & rooms where fantastic. I had an excellent massage from Dianne in the spa which really helped relax me after being on a course all day

My partner had to send his food back in the restaurant as parts of it where frozen. So food is all microwaved felt like weatherspoons standard at Hilton prices but the staff where amazing in dealing with this. Also when we had another meal and paid in cash the staff had no change so we had to come back to recieve our change. Little things that could of been avoided

Staff were very friendly 👌 Breakfast was perfect for me 👌 Sauna / Steam rooms & jacuzzi is something I love being able to have available when I stay in hotels so this I liked 👌 The location was great for me as I have a friend who lives 3 miles away 👌 and another who lives in the centre of Glasgow so the express (fast train) from Croy station meant I was there in approx 14 min (non stop) costing only £4.80 to which thanks to the staff on reception I didn't know about the fast train option as I was going to get taxi to Cumbernauld so thank you for telling me about the fast train 👌👌

1) The rooms don't have Air Conditioning and that would have been handy to have as the weather was lovely and sunny so my room got very warm 😔 2) It was hard to find a working locker in the Men's changing rooms for the spa area as so many are broken.
