Huge room, comfortable bed and a nicely fitted out bathroom. The attached bar/restaurant served good quality food for a very fair price. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast was also good.
The bathtub was a huge deep one just inviting you to have a bath, but the plug was broken so I couldn't fill it up. Mentioned this twice to staff but nothing was done about it, which is a shame! The room was also stone cold when I arrived and with only one radiator for such a large room, it remained a little on the chilly side throughout my stay. Won't be a problem in the summer!

I paid a bit more for a superior room and a lovely large room with turret attached and lovely bathroom with stand alone bath. Think it was the honeymoon suite. No complaints at all. Would go back again
Everything was fine though a bit low on staff. Residents lounge not staffed to had to go outside and round the back to the convivial bar, which was fine. Didn't book breakfast and nobody else had, so I couldn't change my mind as chef took a morning off. Again not a problem as kettle in room.

This was the first time my wife and I had visited the hotel since our wedding reception back in 1972. We really enjoyed our stay from the moment we crossed the threshold until we left. All the staff we met were most accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our large room was well appointed with everything we required for an excellent stay.
We opted to try out the courtyard restaurant for our evening meal. I am sure the main building would also have been good but in this other area we were served by two very helpful and enthusiastic young people who again could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. This high standard was repeated when we enjoyed a hearty breakfast the next morning. Different staff but the same high standard.

Lovely historic property, always a pleasure to stay in buildings like this that are well maintained. Staff were friendly and polite, and the breakfast was exceptional, my favourite a full Scottish and cooked to perfection. We were only here for one night but I would definitely stay again. We had dinner in the bar sat next to the lovely big log burner, very comfortable and relaxing environment.
The private road up to the property could do with some attention.

Beautiful property, fantastic facilities & comfortable room. Staff friendly and welcoming, dining environment in the conservatory was lovely. Brilliant breakfast. Ideally located for stop over enroute to highlands.
Rooms weren’t very soundproof - could hear next door but didn’t disturb our sleep thankfully. Main meal was mediocre (peas were unfortunately really hard & plate was overloaded with them). Fish however was delicious.

I only had breakfast on 1 day. The beans were cool, blackpudding was cold too. I had to go and ask for butter which was brought from the kitchen immediately. My tea was cold & had to ask for replacement which took another few minutes. I have stayed in Kincaid nearly 10 times in the past & never had this happen. I was the last guest to come down for breakfast & the staff were all very nice to me.
A cold breakfast, freshly cooked ??

Although now surrounded by new housing developments Kincade House is a breath of fresh air. Although the grounds are not substantial it has an air of dignity that befits an old country house. The staff were very approachable & professional & the food excellent. The room I occupied was always sparkling clean & airy. it was nice to wander the gardens & watch the red squirrels playing & birds singing. Totally loved the place & first time I've had a relaxing time since my lady passed away. Would definitely return in the future.
Not a lot.

The staff was wonderful and the meals both at the beautiful conservatory and the cozy firelit bar were exceptional. The beds were comfy and our boys were able to run around and play in the yard. We are so happy we stumbled upon this stay for our last night before heading out of Glasgow airport.

A lovely old house and a welcoming and very comfortable hotel with good food and friendly staff. It is conveniently situated near cycle routes and can store bicycles securely overnight making it an excellent stopover for cyclists. This was our third visit and we will be back.
Nothing.

Friendly staff - nothing too much trouble. needed a TV with HDMI connection for work, super helpful manager actually sourced one and set it up in the room - no drama. The food it’s excellent, fresh tasty - only downside is the portions - really difficult to finish the plate, as they are so generous !! Nice and Quiet place to stay after a hectic day.
