We stayed for one night on our trip heading home. We were greeted cheerfully upon arrival and were offered very helpful suggestions as to where to dine for dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, the most highly rated pub in town was fully booked. The motel is in a very convenient location, being within walking distance of the city centre and many of the eateries. Our room was spacious and generally clean and the bed was comfortable. There is very tight allocated parking onsite.

The room and, particularly, the bathroom are dated with the shower over bath still having a shower curtain and original tapware.

Room was good for a family, had a table with four chairs which was great for eating together. Location is good with only a few minutes walk into the main part of town. The room was nice and clean.

During one night of our stay we were woken several times by a loud plumbing noise from another unit. The fragrance/cleaner used in the bathroom had a pleasant but very strong scent which made the whole room smell, but this was rectified by keep the bathroom door shut.

Reception staff friendly. Room was good size, bed was comfy, had a table and chairs inside, very good size bathroom. Location is good for walking to restaurants/cafes/fast food even.

A little dearer than we like to pay for an overnight stay. Noise from people on first floor walking/banging loudly at times, but that is not the hotel's fault, that is just people in general not caring.

FREE available Level 2 EV charging!! This is almost essential in Armidale at present as there is only one public fast charger (NRMA 50Kw) that was very busy over Xmas. Despite being located on a busy road, the motel is perpendicular to that road and was quiet.

Car parking is tight.

Motel position close to town. Easy walking distance. Very clean. Nice quiet air con and heating was great. Room was upstairs and close to road and no noticeable noise. Nice and quiet.

Could not use security catch on inside of door. Appears to be installed upside down so chain does not reach catch. Lighting inside of shower dark but no great problem.

A pretty good motel, good value for money. Staff were pleasant and easy going. Location was close the main town center and walking distance to some good eating places.

Upstairs rooms not easy to access with cases, although this isn't a show stopper, with multiple cases it's a few trips up and down stairs.

After a long drive and feeling tired, staff welcome was excellent. Recommended where to go for our evening meal & a great choice. Plus fresh milk to have with our cuppa.👍 Tea towel & dish washing liquid supplied 👍👍

There was some mould in the shower. Maybe a shower cap provided.

We only stayed the night but the service was great. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The room was neat and tidy, quiet, and the bed felt comfortable. Perfect location as well, close proximity to shops and restaurants for those who are not familiar with Armidale. Being local we haven't needed to use accommodation until now, but now that we've relocated we will definitely be staying here again when we need to visit Armidale and would highly recommend Cedar Lodge.

Electric blanket on bed had an old lump right where your shoulder was on both sides (like a 90s one). Made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep, but otherwise a great place for families.

A nice motel within walking distance to restaurants and the main street. The lady at reception was very helpful and accommodating, helping us with an amendment that we needed to make to our booking when we arrived. We stayed in a family room which was great and had everything that we needed.
