The room was fantastic with a great view of the track. The room was super clean and well stocked.

The beds were way to soft,but it is what it is. The staff hardly acknowledge that you hardly exist...we were the ones that took the time to say hello or any other greeting . I can honestly say that this is the first place we have stayed where we had to make the first contact . The hallway light kept flashing during the whole length of our stay and this could be seen from the reception desk. The lighs in the room were so dull that we dould not read anything at all. Quality bulbs purchased in bulk are not that expensive,

Fantastic views. Close to everything and staff was helpful. We had s good break. PS. I'm not sure if this is good or bad story. but while we were there, a kid threw up in the pool, but his mum just left without telling anyone. We only realised when we saw the floating vomit. Staff did fantastic work by closing down the pool as soon as I notified and cleaned up the pool. And we had the chance to go to the pool the next day. Thank you.

Breakfast was same every morning and if you don't like scrambled eggs, you had no other egg choices. The pool could do with an upgrade and maybe a full-time pool attendant.

Great location and relatively modern inside. The staff running the breakfast buffet were very hard working and polite despite being absolutely run off their feet. My daughter loved the spa bath and we loved the view. It’s certainly got us considering staying for a Bathurst race!

A woman on reception made a comment along the lines of “as if you would bring your kids on holiday” This was in relation to children being a nuisance in the foyer and playing inside the display race car. Unfortunately I was there checking in myself, my husband and my child at the time so the comment wasn’t really appreciated.

Great room with a great view! Was warm and cozy in the room for a winter stay. Easy access to Bathurst CBD.

Buffet breakfast was very basic and not worth the $25 a head. Couldn’t order poached eggs, staff said only scrambled available on the buffet. Sausages were as hard as a rock and obviously sitting too long in the warmer. Staff said that’s what breakfast sausages should be like…. Layout was poor with coffee machine, pancake machine and toaster all co-located next to each other which resulted in people all waiting in the same location for these machines. These machines could sensibly be spread out to reduce congestion.

The day we checked in (late evening) 14Dec the toilet seat were really very dirty, called reception but no solution as housekeeping wasn’t available. We had to use it as it is room 316. Next day the housekeeping lady was really nice showed her how dirty toilets were and she cleaned it so well. Missed to ask her name but she was so kind to clean it sparkling.

We liked the balcony, the view, and the spa bathroom. We also liked the pool spa and we enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. We found checking and checkout staff to be helpful. It was handy to have a separate toilet to the one in the bathroom and we were apprciative that there were soap in both, sanitary napkin bags and spare shower cap. There was a good supply of milk for a fanily of three and we were glad to have a toaster, kettle and if we had have stayed longer we would have used the kitchen more. The bed was extremely comfortable and we would stay here again and recommend it to others. We chose a room with a sofa bed and large double, and it was the great that the staff had its own space for our teen as we don't yet feel comfortable with her in her own room. My husband mentioned that there wasn't a mini bar automatically and I explained it was choice. We thought it was good that you have to arrange for a mini bar and there wasn't one automatically, as we understand that with underage in room it was good that they were eating out all nuts and chocolates etc. I thought it would also be good for people who don't drink or were recovering alcoholics to not automatically have a mini bar.

We booked for three, so we were disappointed that there were only 2 chocolate chinos not three, and that there were only 4 towels considering that we all had a spa and then a shower the next morning, so 2 towels for each of us, would have been useful.

It was and clean and it was great seeing the city lights from every room.

For a $400 room, I kinda expected the bath to be bigger. I’m 5 foot 7 and couldn’t stretch my legs out in it. Also, for that price, you’d think there would be biscuits with the coffee and sugar etc. biscuits should always be available. More so with the pricier rooms. Also, there was a lot of balcony space. It could have been utilised, like with outdoor couches and a BBQ. Maybe a nice outdoor plant where it’s sheltered from the wind.

Room was excellent, very comfy bed. Great location and huge room.

Restaurant was terrible. Very minimal service, order at bar, pick up own cutlery. Chicken Parmigiana - chicken was burnt & dry, chips cold, salad was entirely lettuce. Coconut Chicken Curry - one tiny piece of chicken and small vegetable pieces, no coconut flavour. For the price it was very disappointing and I would not go back to the Chicane Bar & Grill. Carpark was very tight with small parking spaces.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and well presented. Thoroughly cleaned. The staff are always so friendly (second visit here).

The breakfast can be heaps better. For $28 it is not satisfactory. It's my second visit here and both times have been the same, so if I stay here again definitely won't be paying for the breakfast. I ordered scrambled eggs and they arrived curdled and smelt off. So I popped the to the side and had a toast with spread of Nutella on it with a glass of pineapple juice. Limited variety of what's available or breakfast.

As a family of 6 in a 3 bedroom apartment it was fantastic. We had lots of space and everything we needed. Being right on the race track was a highlight for everyone and being able to walk it and drive it, a bonus. It was clean and super comfortable. Kids also had a blast playing tennis on the court. Best place we stayed at on our roadtrip from Perth to NSW and back again. Would definitely find a way to stay again in the future.
