The state of the art Camp kitchen is one of the best I have seen in Australia while poking around numerous tourist/van parks. I just walked in and around the facility and was astounded. The entertainment Tv's, pristine well maintained stainless b.b.q's, the automatic doors, generous work benches, ovens, microwaves, stove tops and sinks.. Numerous other States need to follow you as the leader by example. The little corrugated iron stand up herb gardens, a very nice rustic Australian touch 👌 We booked into a cabin, which had very little in the way of cooking implementation, but some staple basics. The entire park was very well maintained and thought out. It was very neat and appealing and a credit to the owners/managers/staff. The room was booked for 3 nights and was compatible and affordable.

Power was unfortunately an issue for the whole town during our stay over and the couple cabins located near us were full of contractors starting up mining vehicles with reverse beacons early hours of the morning.

The location was excellent for the purpose of our visit. I could also see other people's interaction with facilities etc and how great that was. Also fantastic to see at least 3 young people having fun on the equipment provided. The staff were more than helpful and welcoming. Easy to talk with and ask advice around local facilities etc. Our cabin was wonderful... neat, clean, beautifully functional. Everything we needed (except salt & pepper which we forgot but didn't really need LOL). If we ever had need to come back, this would be our choice again without hesitation. We asked for a later check-out as my husband went off to do the business we came for, and I needed somewhere to wait. This was an easy yes for the team, for which I personally was very grateful. I spent some time packing and cleaning, then sat on the lounge and did some writing and reading before heading back to Adelaide when Mark came back. We thought we were going to be disturbed by traffic noises, as we were right on the main road into town, but honestly, we heard basically nothing. Had a great night's sleep.

We were welcomed by a friendly staff on our arrival. We loved the chalet, they are pet-friendly, chalet has a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. After a long day driving, the plans were to rest and leave early in the morning, but we loved this accommodation and ended up staying until late. We walked our dog in the morning around the block, and cooked a breakfast before getting on the road again. Highly recommended.

On this occasion I booked a budget cabin which could be described as "Spartan". Very tight for space for one person, & even though it has a double bed, would be a squeeze for two. Other than that all was good, however if you're a couple, do yourself a favor & spring for a deluxe cabin (as I did for the previous stay).

Nothing other than a budget cabin is quite small.

Clean, modern, superior cabin with all the inclusions i needed to keep it lovely for our stay. The pool was imperative in the heat as were the effective airconditioning units. I loved that this is a pet friendly location with just a reasonable cleaning fee. The staff were lovely and so helpful.

A place to put general rubbish outside the unit would be helpful.

We liked the location. It was central and felt secure. Having a microwave and utensils was great, too. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. The communal facilities for showering were really clean and very enjoyable to use.

The room had a smell, we had to use air freshener. An air freshener in the room would go a long way. There was a bit of mould around the cabin, but I think it being a cabin, there's not really much you can do.

Modern standard cabin, clean and tidy.

Suggestions for improvement - narrow car space due to plants down the sides, just need a trim. Would be good to see more plants throughout the park as pretty barren beyond our cabin. There would be other places to park so not a deterrent from booking again.

Cabin was clean and well stocked. It was close to everything. We used the main toilet block, which was clean and well presented,

Beds a bit uncomfortable. Cabin was right next to the highway, and a Refridgerated truck was parked across the street with motor going most of the night.

The additional area to staying in their motel located across the road.

Previously the caravan park and their motel which is located across the road had available a bus for transport to and from restaurants,hotels/clubs which was not available although two buses were on site. This is a service that should be reinstated especially were the caravan park is located to restaurants and clubs/pubs.

Our cabin was perfectly adequate for a short stay, with the usual expected facilities. The bed was comfy and the location quiet, with parking right at our door. It was good value.

The TV was very small and had poor reception. This was obviously a stop-gap, since there was a large (empty) TV mounting bracket on the wall.
