The receptionist was under training, so had to be guided through the usual check-in procedures, which did not allow for a great deal of informal interaction. However, the welcome was pleasant. The room was large and well furnished, including table and chairs and a large, extremely comfortable bed. Had a separate kitchenette with a wonderful selection of complimentary beverages and plenty of kitchenware to enable one to create one’s own snack or meal. Great large bathroom which contained a shower with exceptional water pressure.

Finding the light switches was a bit of a mission. Spoilt by the lack of the provisioning of face cloths (which appears to be a common Australian trait in the hospitality industry).

We have been to Albury a few times and this is by far the best stay we have had. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and best of all, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We asked for late check out to accommodate my parents' need and the owners went out of their way to make sure that was achieved (where they had to clean our room by themselves instead). The little gesture meant a lot to us and made my parents very happy. Thank you!

Nothing. Everything was great!

Very competitively priced! The room was big and the heater was very good given the single-digit temperatures of winter. The gentleman who checked us in was very lovely! Parking was available and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was adequate and towels were provided.

Didn't get to use the pool was it was winter, but I wouldn't take it into consideration when staying here (appeared small). The location is a short drive to the main area with restaurants, so gotta drive to get anywhere. There were little amenities in the bathroom (BYO shampoo and toothpaste).

Friendly and easy check-in. The room was a good nice and comfortable. It was a Decent sized bathroom and a good shower. Great value for money fornpur one night stop over. We didn't venture far as we arrived in the late evening, but everything we needed was close by and we got dinner delivered. The pool was very refreshing after a long hot drive. Our room was in the 'second driveway' it was very private and quiet.

The fridge didn't get very cold.

The location was great just a short drive into the centre of Albury. Quiet with no traffic noise. The beds were comfortable and had a great shower. Well equipped kitchenette with everything supplied for a short stay.

Just a minor quibble but in the photos of the rooms there are a couple of armchairs. I am not a fan of sitting on the bed to watch TV so had been looking forward to relaxing in an armchair. The two beds were small doubles that took up too much space in the room. One queen bed would have made more sense and allowed space for said armchairs.

The location met our needs perfectly being central to both Albury and Lavington. We stayed for 2 weeks and the owners made us feel right at home which we appreciated.

Using the toaster often set off the fire alarm which was situated on the ceiling but very close to the power outlet and therefore any heat the toaster made. We ended up putting the toaster in the bathroom, closing the door and opening the window as wide as it could go. That did the trick.

Clean, very friendly staff, quiet and comfortable

Fridge , needs an upgrade to have a proper freezer space. There is a huge cabinet space that is not used much by guests so if this is converted to have a larger fridge with larger freezer space that would be super handy for guests to use!

One of the best motels we have ever stayed. It was so clean! The carpet was so clean which is usually the thing that let us down on motels. Great bed, very comfortable. Nice shower too. The blinds were also good so we could make the room real dark and had a great night sleep. The location is good because is close to Albury's center (the town has excellent restaurants, by the way) but at the same time it isn't noisy. The reception lady (possibly the owner) was so lovely too. We have had good weather so we didn't use the aircon. So I cannot comment on that. But it was there and looked fairly new.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I've also loved that it doesn't have stairs. It is handy when you have a heavy bag. If they're plan to invest/upgrade anything I would suggest the pillows

The room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with good back support. Basic tea/coffee facilities with a cookie to enjoy. Free shower products provided. Is in a convenient location; a short drive to buy essentials and a meal. Was a good passing through overnighter. Checking in was very ‘dry’; no service with a smile, just getting the job done.

The split system heating/cooling needs a quick service and clean. A bit clunky and inside closed louvres needs a clean.

Park car right outside room. Easy check in/out. Comfortable bed. Kitchen facilities.

The outer wall is in essence just a large glass window. While there were obviously curtains the amount of noise that passes into the room from outside was too much. Could hear every car door open & close and could hear people have lively conversations outside their rooms till late.
