I liked the greeting by David at reception offering local knowledge about food outlets ,petrol and directions to get onto the Hume. The unit was very clean,with a small kitchenette including a microwave. Air con and electric blankets for cold nights. I will return on my next trip to Canberra. Parking outside my door and with key drop no trouble leaving early. I also was early and was able to settle in quickly after a long drive. Felt safe as an older female solo traveler

I was happy with the motel and nothing to complain about .

Great location. 2 blocks from heart of town. The room was very spacious…almost double some I have stayed in. Very comfortable bed. As an older motel (aren’t they all?) it may not have the glitzy marble bench tops of a 5 star hotel but everything is well maintained with all you need there at a very reasonable price…particularly if you are on Genius level and booked via your phone ( $50 price reduction)!

A deep clean of the corners of the shower ( a problem we all have in our own home)

Easy access from the highway and close to the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner. It was a clean and comfortable room.

Area felt a little sketchy at night. Large number of cars doing burn outs/hooning in the middle of the night on the road in front of the motel - this went for ages and no police response - I was amazed. Felt like I was in a city with huge problems than a large regional town. Did leave me a little uneasy and questioned heading back.

Receptionist was friendly and full of information. Room size was generous, with lounge and small table and chairs. Towels were a decent size and there was a face washer provided, both of which are becoming more unusual.

Room decor could do with some updating, and wall fittings need redesign. Outside also looks tired. I'm also not a fan of the dispenser soap that so many motels now provide - would prefer small cakes.

10 minute walk from restaurants/cafes also botanic gardens and Murray River. We came from Melbourne by train, good trip and easier than driving for an older couple.

We booked at the motel for 4 nights, no housekeeping, had to go to the reception to get extra toiletries. A broom would have been handy as we used the kitchen to make b'fast and floor could have used a sweep .

It's a simple motel but it's clean and comfy. It's perfect for a night or 2 going through Albury. I've stayed here many times before on my way to and from qld. The owner is always welcoming. The beds are comfy Great lighting Clean bathroom. The price is great

There isn't anything I didn't like. It's perfect. It's dated but it's perfect for our needs. The price is fair too

This is a very comfortable and clean motel, well appointed and quite close to the centre of the city and the beautiful gardens are just a short walk away. It's ideal for a short stay in Albury and the price is very reasonable for quite a spacious and well appointed unit.

Everything was fine - there was a fair amount of noise during the night into the wee small hours from some other guests who arrived on motor bike and were 'chewing the fat', but this can and does happen at any small hotel without a 24 hour reception. It would not stop us from staying again though - just one of those things.

The man in reception was extremely welcoming and helpful even to the extent that he recommended places of interest for our onward journey. Was able to walk to places of interest and the main shopping area. The property and grounds were well presented.

I am a light sleeper so the road noise was a bit of an issue.

Great location of the motel. Very clear instructions before arrival. Everything you could need in a motel room - just a little dated but that doesn't stop it being comfy. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was given it's on the main road - some excellent sound proofing. Very walkable to town.

The rooms are incredibly spacious and everything was immaculately clean and tidy - despite the older-style brick motel, the interior felt so modern, clean and cozy. The bed was super comfy and the blackout blinds actually worked (a rarity at motels it seems)! Would 100% stay here again.
