I stayed 1 night with my 2 young children to break up the trip from Dubbo back to Brisbane. The room was big and much better than expected, basic but comfortable. We were unable to make it to Moree until just before midnight, but this was not an issue for them at all, the lovely lady letting us in when we arrived, even walking us to the room to open the door and turn the lights on. I appreciated that we weren't at all treated like an inconvenience for checking in so late. We were greeted with an equally sincere attitude the next morning when we left. The nightly rate was reasonable and we felt safe and certainly comfortable.

Yes the bed was a little harder than im used to but an incredibly minor point considering the hotels ability to accommodate us the way they did. The customer service provided was exceptional.

Security was reassuringly safe, with gates being locked after 9pm -8am, unless u need to arrive after or leave before that. Thi, the owner was so helpful & spoke kindly to us with her soft accent. Vicinity to Artesian Aquatic Centre, 1 minute walk couldn’t be better,& $2 entry was amazing- wish we’d allowed more time to stay there. It was a simple no fuss place to stay, very adequate for our needs, just as we wanted & we felt very much at home. Car could be parked close to unit entrance door, under cover which was very handy.

Bit of a ‘tar & cement’ look without elaborate landscaping & garden, but for an overnight stay, it was perfect, with secure walls all around for feeling of protection .

It was an aged motel with large rooms. Good hot water with pressure. Parking is a little tight but ok and mostly under cover. The room is set for self cooking with pots, etc. The security gates are locked at 9pm so your vehicle is safe and your security is slightly better than if no gate. If you ring the rsl club, their bus will pick you up and drop you off later. The aircon filter had been cleaned. There is a Chinese restaurant down next corner. The caretaker appears to be on site.

Although booked for 2 people with queen bed, only one towel and a non souping washing bar which didn't soap up. No shampoo. The security gates are locked at 9pm. This is good security but I'm not sure what happens in an emergency like a fire or gas bottle going up as the gate has a physical lock on it. If it was electrical it could have a code and mechanical over ride for emergencies.

I have stayed before and we love that you can cook in the room and that it's a decent size room nice big bathroom and the location is quiet too

It's just not as clean as it could or should be the bathroom is starting to show mold and that just sweeping and using a dirty mop is just not cutting it and the bed is a little worn. I know it has a new owner and she's doing her best but I hope she can get on top of the cleaning it would be a shame otherwise

Nice welcome by owner very clean and comfortable. I recommend staying as the price and facility beats most others in similar pricing range.

Not a lot

Top service with a smile from the time our host picked us up at the railway station, until the time she dropped us back. Drove us to the local supermarket and liquor store. Above and beyond the call of duty.

The shower hot water takes a bit of time to get from the storage tanks to the rooms at the back of the motel, but when it gets there, it's very good.

Clean and comfortable but someone had tied a garbage bag over the fire alarm in our room so assume they were smoking.

Ppl checking into room next door at 11pm took half hour of banging room doors, car doors and calling out to each other- we thought it was a family of 6 not just one very rude couple, they claimed they needed half an hour to get into the room.. not happy.

Lovely large sized unit with all needed - the kitchenette & Lge fridge was great too. So close to the artesian waters leisure centre (1min walk - only $2). Close to city centre & Woolies too.

Just the air con was abit noisy, but thankfully had a night got chilly, so heater was great!!

Friendly host, who offered to go above and beyond. Room was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable. Full size refrigerator in the room. Sufficient crockery and cutlery. Location was great, less than 10 minutes walk to the railway station and less than 15 min walk to the supermarket. Room was quiet, and set away from the road.

Couldn't connect to the wi-fi.

Staff where very friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and contained coffee/tea/biscuits, cutlery & crockery, cooking utensils, big fridge, microwave, TV, etc. Towels and linen of good quality. Good reverse cycle AC unit. Free Wifi. Motel is in easy walking distance to the Moree Aquatic Centre (hot artesian baths).

Car parking was a bit tight and view from motel was quite dismal.
