Breakfast buffet style, plenty of choices. Room clean and comfortable, with plenty of room. Location close to all sorts of amenities, as well as being not far from family. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. When I made the booking, there was only one room available, but I couldn'find out if it was a grpond floor unit. I phone them, explaining I need to be on the ground floor as husband couldn't manage stairs. They made sure to arrange this for us. Brilliant

The only thing I could hope to be better was the water pressure in the shower. But in saying thst I would still be a return customer.

We found the property to be excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The location of the Winning Post was perfect, making it easy to find everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely return when our Orchestra rehearses in Mudgee next. I highly recommend the Winning Post to other travellers.

I would suggest having more coat hangers. Perhaps you could provide more heavy duty mats for the use of the miners who stay there. It would help to keep the coal dirt off the walkways.

It was a buffet breakfast and what you would expect in a good motel. the dinner we had on one night was excellent.

A. there was no hand towel provided. B. We found a bath towel hanging behind the bathroom door. had it been used and not taken away or was it fresh? who knows c. On looking at the bottles of wine in the room we discovered a chocolate segment stuck in the base of one bottle. we didn't drink any of the wine

very clean, modern & spacious good parking and room to get in and out breakfast inclusion excellent - food options all you could want

only very minor issues that were raised as feedback when checking out - we stayed in room 55 - toilet seat does not stay up - lighting in bathroom for doing make up is not very good - maybe consider placing a full length mirror on the end of the wall that divides bedroom & bathroom - this would be excellent when you need to do makeup & get dressed - especially for wedding parties and / or guests - one thing I forgot to mention is that the bed mattress should be rotated more often as it dips a little on rhs

The location was great as we could walk into town to explore. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant staff were excellent.

There is nothing we didn't like about our stay. We enjoyed the accommodation. We were also very impressed with Mudgee as a town, very clean and lots of things to do.

Everything was brilliant Large comfortable room with sofa, desk etc Well stocked mini-bar Modern clan bathroom / toilet Nice big television The restaurant setting and ambience was perfect as was the food. A very 'welcoming' feeling as soon as you walked in the room The pool conveniently located (unfortunately cold weather did not permit use for us)

Maybe I should have requested a room on the lower level. Bit hard lugging suitcases etc up steps but no big problem.

Helpful staff, nice quiet oom and a good swimming pool

One of the many large dual cab utes belonging to guests there parked outside our door and left the engine running for an extended period, with the exhaust pointed at our door from only a metre away. This trapped us in the room, as we did not wish to open our door and fill our room with exhaust fumes. It would be good if vehicles parked front towards rooms, but most of the many large utes there were backed in.

Overall nice room, warm and comfortable bed. Close to all facilities. A lovely buffet breakfast was included in our booking fee.

There were a few small things that would have made it better. There was only one tiny soap and one washer for us both. Although there was a toaster and kettle there were no knives or plates and only one teaspoon. A teatowel was provided but no plug or washing up detergent.

Accommodation was in the right place for our business trip. Great check-in service, and accommodated a possible late checkout, which we did not require in the end. Breakfast was provided in my booking, and it was fabulous.

Bathroom mould in tile grout was present and looked unsightly. The facility needs to put more effort into trying to keep this at bay.

The staff at reception and in the restaurant were exceptional

The shower should be upgraded to have a hand held spray, not just an overhead spray The exterior light outside our room (Room 136) did not work and there was no ironing board in the room which indicates that the staff to pay more attention to the items in the room and to everyday maintenance
