Booked 2 rooms one for ourselves and one for my grandparents. We ALL loved our stay at McNevins. Staff were amazing and the bonus for us was we were able to take our dog. I assumed since we were staying at a motel that it would be cramped with a large breed dog, a queen and a single bed but the room were spacious enough that she had multiple spots where she could comfortably lay and spread out. My grandparents loved the extra big bed in their room. We were all very comfortable and would stay again.

Very Minor! - we checked in right after our pet friendly room was cleaned, there was a strong smell of cleaning products but we do understand we were staying in a pet friendly room and I would assume this would need some extra attention after some stays. Smell went away after a few hours of the air-conditioner running and the window open. We weren't too bothered by this but something to note. The second room my grandparents stayed in had no smell at all.

We stayed at McNevin's Tamworth for one night. We loved that the motel was located out of town. There was plenty of parking spaces and a service station just across the road. The owner was very friendly and helpful in settling us in and also recommended a great place to get a meal (the Nemingha Tavern, just down the road). The room had a king bed, was spacious, spotless and so quiet! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend McNevin's Tamworth to other travellers!

The owners are some of THE nicest and friendliest people in the industry I have ever met, nothing was too much and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, even though I booked without much notice near closing time due to unforeseen circumstances. Wonderful first impression! The family suite was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The beds were extremely comfy and the breakfast was absolutely delish and filling. Will always book here when going to Tamworth and cannot recommend this place enough to family, friends or anyone looking for a place to stay! Keep up the great work, you are doing great!

Great facilities, clean comfortable with daily cleaning. Nice and roomy with heating in both rooms. Complimentary laundry facilities were so handy! Drying rack in the room would have been extra helpful

Noise from next door. It was either the heater or the bathroom exhaust, hard to tell, turning on and off all night made it difficult to sleep

We booked McNevins as it was the last available room on the Country Music festival weekend and we were not disappointed! The staff were polite and hospitable from the moment we walked in to check in and very helpful when we left something behind. The room was clean, spacious, quiet & the beds comfortable. They offered to suggest places to eat for dinner and made sure we knew the cut of time to order breakfast. The breakfast we ordered was delicious & generous and arrived on time. Nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

We stayed at this motel as my 18y old daughter had to have an operation and stay in hospital over 4 days as we lived over 3 hours away and due to Covid-19’s we was not allowed to visit hospital so this unit was our home away from home Just needed our clean clothes and food the rest was provided A full bottle of fresh milk on arrival at reception. The 2 bedroom unit was clean and comfortable ample off street parking. Easy ground floor access to rooms with my own limited abilities and mobility. Unit had basic kitchen items required ample room to move around additional family was to stay also due to Covid-19’s though was only myself and my husband Our room was serviced each day by a very helpful friendly staff member who does an amazing job presentation and cleaning of unit Was only 6km from Tamorrh town centre My husband being from the land enjoyed an evening walk and wonder around the 3,5 acres land around the motel very spacious no high way noise Air-conditioned room was great as very hot weather whilst at Tamworth NSW Felt like we was still in the rural area peace and quiet rooms was roomy not jammed in if we had had additional family attend as pre booked for originally If we ever have to go back and need accommodation will stay. Again

We had two separate beds room was very clean and had good faciliities but could have had a kitchenette.

There were two splits in the wall and we had a no kitchenette. But in all fairness the room was of an above average standard.

Friendly owners who are helpful and welcoming. Pet friendly room booked which allowed us to travel with our support animal which was very much appreciated. Comfortable bed, facilities as described. Close enough to town to feel part of the community, far enough away to get a good nights sleep without the noise of a busy city.

Large, spacious and well planned room. Great location. Clean and Tidy. Friendly and helpful staff members. loved how we were given a 2l milk and not just a small 1l or less like other places, especially when there was 5 of us staying. We asked for a later check in with short notice to the staff but they were more than happy to allow this and our room was set up and all ready for us to arrive.

We didn’t stay long enough and we weren’t around long enough to try out the restaurant and breakfast.

Massive rooms, bit dusty but mostly clean, friendly staff, some broken items like the towel rail that was holding on loose and falling off, but thats quick fixes. Ultimately comfy, mostly quite (other than the screaming kids next door at 1am the second night! But thats not on the hotel) and impressed with the room size.
