I stayed at Tamworth City Motel for 4 nights. The room was clean, tidy, modern and accessible with good ammenities - kettle, microwave and tea/coffee making, iron and hairdryer available on request. The staff were kind enough to allocate me undercover parking which was much appreciated. The location was very central and located only minutes from town. Big bed which was VERY comfortable, linen and sheets also very clean and comfortable.

Room was slightly on the small side but good value for money this way.

We booked this motel as an overnight stop on our way from Syd to Glen Innes. Check in experience was good , collected key from keysafe (pre-arranged) as we arrived a little late. We had undercover parking beside room which was good. Room was small but lovely and fresh and clean and cool as Aircon was on to greet us. Bed was very comfortable and had lovely fresh sheets. Bathroom was clean and adequate.. shower was good.. good water pressure and as warm as you wanted. Enjoyed Continental breakfast next morning before heading on our way. Would stay again if the need arose.

Nothing really.. This motel was exactly as I expected for the price that I paid. It was clean and comfortable.

The Nepalese receptionist was very nice and friendly. I found our room to be comfortable, clean and I’d stay again, especially because we could have our dog stay with us - he loved it! I really appreciated the free breakfast in the morning, so we could get on our way and not have to stop for brekkie before our long drive home. The pool was great too since it was 32 degrees when we arrived, I really enjoyed my afternoon swim. Netflix was already set up on the TV - loved that. The bedding was clean and crisp, comfy bed, we all had a great nights sleep.

I sent a few suggestions to the owner (like the air con remote being in Mandarin so we found it hard to use) and they were pleasant in their response. Nothing to worry about too much, especially for the price, it’s a good value place. Be aware most places closeby stop serving dinner after 8pm, Dragon Palace (Chinese) were good, we managed to place a takeaway order just before 9pm luckily!

My host was exceptional, not only very friendly but very helpful & accommodating. The facilities were a little dated & basic, but clean, tidy & well presented. The location towards the edge of Tamworth was perfect for me, as I had an early start on my motorbike ride back to Sydney. It was however, within walking distance of retail & food facilities. Great value for money.

I couldn't get the TV working properly, but that might be due to the 76 year old operator!

Complimentary breakfast included! Room was a good size and the bed was massive. It was a bonus that the tv had Netflix and Stan to help wind-down after a big day exploring Tamworth. The room included a split system air con to help with the weather.

I liked all of the facilities. The only thing I would write about would be the pool wasn’t open. However it would have been too cold to go in anyway.

You get what you pay for really, had all we needed with tv, toilet, shower and bed. Bed and sheets appeared clean so bonus there. Staff Friendly aswell.

Nothing major. We stayed in summer and room very hot and took hours for little air con unit to cool the room down to a bearable temperature. Photos not exactly accurate to what booking.com advertisers.

The location was great . Very close to the Golden Guiter and major food outlets .The staff member I met on arrival was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy , The bed I slept in was very comfortable . Will be staying here next business trip. Highly recommend people to stay here

I don't think anything else could be made better , as I found this Motel to be in a great location , Value for money ,Quiet and very comfortable to sleep in.

Friendly welcoming staff, good parking outside room, continental breakfast included with stay, basic, comfortable, clean accommodation, with armchair & footstool, good location, close to town & the Longyard Hotel for meals

TV remote did not work & some road noise....

staff were super accommodating, friendly and helpful. great location. quiet also for a main road. everything I needed for my stay. great price. I was happy.

cleanliness wasn’t the best. stains on the sheets and bath towels. it kind of looked like they didn’t change the sheets from the last guest as there was dirt and hair at the foot of the bed under the covers. also the amount of bugs! need some bug spray in the rooms or a zap lamp.

Staff were very helpful: in changing our booking to a "Pet Friendly" room (after our online booking defaulted to a regular room), and in Express Posting back to our house address an item we left behind when checking out.

Shower recess was a little "tired", but serviceable nonetheless.
