My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Our high expectations were exceeded!! The quality of the room was incredible, the facilities were gorgeous (we loved the big TV and spa bath), and the view of the paddock (with cows) was stunning. We ordered room service from Papa Luigi’s (restaurant on site) which was unreal. My partner said the chicken wings were 10/10, and as a vegetarian, I had such a large selection which all sounded so yum! We loved our food so much, we went to the restaurant for dinner the next night too. Stockmans is not the cheapest motel in Tamworth, but it is 1000% the best (definitely worth spending a little extra on). We absolutely will be back!!

Rooms are huge. TV massive. Great that it has a microwave and separate area to put food. Restaurant was amazing. Room service and the food was delicious. Pool was good. We were there for a basketball weekend so kids would have loved a basketball hoop like down at the Savananah down the road. parks were large and right outside the bedroom door. Easy check in. Laundry facilties excellent.

Nothing really it was great although it would be great if there was a card tap facillity to use washing machine and dryer, although you could get change at reception.

Very spacious and well appointed room. Nice rural outlook with back patio to enjoy some bird watching. Good refrigerator plus handy microwave. Good restaurant. Fresh milk and cereals available in room were welcome. Amazingly large television. Very efficient air conditioning. Stayed three nights for a mixture of work and pleasure so great base several kilometres south of centre of town.

Though designed for disability access - and generally very good for that purpose - the small bathroom basin set up and lack of vanity or decent shelving for toiletries was awkward. Difficult to fill small kettle with water and it was obvious from damage to floor tiles was the result of items easily falling from tiny glass shelf immediately below soap dispenser.

I was only in Tamworth for one night for a conference and traveled with my two school aged daughters who absolutely loved the pool and surrounds. I personally loved that this motel was just outside the main part of town giving it that gorgeous country surrounding with views of the pastures and hills in the distance. The room was really comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Check in was so easy with the lock box at our front door. Milk, juice and water in the fridge was perfect along with the cereal for breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. This will absolutely be my motel of choice when I am back in Tamworth - my daughters and I highly recommend it.

Very new facility with good quality fittings and furnishings. Excellent shower, cereals and juice provided free in room for breakfast. Self check in, so there's no interaction face to face with staff. Excellent split system air-conditioning with individual controls

It was disappointing that no toaster was provided as that is almost a standard inclusion in motels these days. Plenty of cutlery, plates etc. so it seems a strange omission. Another towel rail in bathroom would be beneficial. The polished concrete floors while practical, are cold to stand on in the winter. A mat or rug in the region around the bed would be good.

Normal country motel a little way outside town with an excellent restaurant attached to it all run by a very friendly and enthusiastic team. In addition to the two rows of normal motel rooms, a short walk away is a small block of bargain rate rooms. Smaller they may be, but they are comfortable, clean and have most of the expected features, with the added bonus of being quiet, thanks to their location away from the main motel. The restaurant is an above average, indeed, well above average, Italian Restaurant and its quality indicated that on a Monday night it was full of locals.

Advertised as breakfast included to me this means at a restaurant. That is the main reason I selected. Continental or complimentary breakfast is different to breakfast included. Most annoyed. Sign in room said to ring certain number to book restaurant and no one answered. Did this twice. Would have liked wine glass in fridge. Bed was hard. We tried looking on the booking app for our room number as the reception was closed. Did not realise it was on the text message sent earlier

We have stayed here 2 years in a row for an annual sporting event. Staff weren't onsite when we arrived this time but check in was still easy using the lock box/pin provided. Rooms are clean and have everything you need for a short stay. Not within walking distance to the main part of town but easy 6 minute or so drive. Ate at the onsite Italian restaurant, food was delicious and staff very friendly. Unfortunately I recommended it to too many people and now I can't get in for next years event - oops!

The room was lovely, spacious and modern. Grounds were well kept. Restaurant and it’s staff were excellent. Pool looked good though we didn’t swim. The quietness of being a little way out of town was nice. The rooms are very secure and external roller blinds blocked any noise and/or light out completely. Great if you want to sleep in.

No breakfast. It was New Year’s Eve and the owners were away. We were informed of this on a note in our room when we got there. I booked through booking.com and therefore paid as I booked. There was no discount offered for not receiving breakfast which was supposed to be part of the deal. Disappointing as we were passing through and booked with the idea of having brekky and just keep going. Though the pool looked good, I felt it was too close to the restaurant.

Location is very pleasant fairly quiet. Two issues I have are this. I can't use the shower facilities because of disability, but likely not the reasons your thinking. I have chronic reactivity to chemicals in municipal tap water, Rooms on tank water or Ulta filtered water would be great even if it was only a few rooms or second set of taps in wash Basin and shower. I have trigeminal neuralgia and fibromyalgia Exposure to tap water always flares it up. Chemical free and ultra filtration water system room i would happily pay an extra 20 to 25 dollars for. The other issue was hearing people through the walls snorting or talking. I think of you can use a New sheeting on relevant walls which has 95 plus percent sound proofing it would be fantastic. The door lock on the screen Doors I see as potential fire Hazzard risk for exiting building In an emergency. It's unclear which way to turn it when trying to exit the room.. In the event of an actual fire it's not a case of standing there trying to figure out how to open it people get adrenaline rush and try to get out quickly making mistakes some times. And Small rooms with fires don't usually leave you alot of time for errors. Other than these issues i have no other complaints of the room or facilities. It was well presented and very tidy.
