Great size room & comfortable
I noticed that kitchen surfaces had crumbs and had not been cleaned thoroughly. It gave me the “icons” but we did not complain. I also noticed some unprofessional behaviour from the cleaners on level 3. They were eating very smelly food with their hands on the floor of one of the cleaning rooms early on the morning of check out. Their door was wide open. The smell was terrible. The whole set up was unprofessional. Question: where is their supervisor che Jing their work as well as their unhygienic and inappropriate food practices in such a nice hotel? It’s not a good look for customer service. The smell was offensive.

Breakfast is not served at the hotel so we bought our own and prepared it un the unit as it had a kitchen. We were very grateful to be helped by Mary at reception on our second night. She was friendly and made us feel welcome.
The lady at check out when we left was very cold and didn't even ask the usual questions e.g. if we had enjoyed our stay or was everything ok. She just took the keys and said something like - all done. No smile or conversation and there were no other guests to be served or anyone checking out. We just commented to each other at the car - looks like she's not happy in the service.

Easy to check in everything went smoothly room's were nice and clean with everything I mentioned to staff were in place .
Hard to find parking with a lot of golfers coming to play which is fine. But I think hotel needs to take consideration that people coming to stay need priority parking with especially holiday seasons we spending money on rooms and amenities maybe they need to separate golfing with overnight stays. Parking and valet would be helpful , Had my parents who are elderly come visit as they had walk far bit to reach hotel entry I'm sure they were alot elderly people who would have had some problems. And to carry bags all that way can be annoying. We don't have golf carts help carry bags like golfers and also quite dangerous as they hooning around the carpark can have accidents with pedestrians in car park.

Golf course, hotel, bar and restaurant combination and the size of the rooms. Great staff, very friendly and helpful.
1) Elevator had been broken for some time, like a month or so. Not clear why it was offline for so long. 2) The cleaning staff were very attentive at bedding changes, towels and cleaning the dishes, but oddly never vacuumed. We had found some missed cookies under a table, so we moved the table to make it obvious to see, but those items remained there during the entire 4 nights we were there. Not a show stopper, just odd. 3) The rooms are large and all white, thought they could use a decorative touch. The furniture seemed out of place given the size of the rooms, made the room look very sparse. No wall paintings or colour schemes. A tv in the bedroom would also be a great addition.

The View from the room is sensational. 2 nice restaurants in the building and a very lucky small casino. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and we will come back again. The location is perfect, so close to the beaches, stadium, shops, petrol station and plenty of restaurant ... most importantly, plenty of parking.
I feel the rooms are a bit outdated. especially toilet seat ... very new but I doubt it is designed to be disposable. so thin that sinks in when anyone sit on it. The cleaners always gather around the hallway in the mornings sitting on the floor, chatting and eating like having a picnic. They are friendly but I have to say it doesn't feel appropriate. This will definitely stop me from bringing friends or family along for holiday in this hotel.

Enjoyed the balcony, the room, the bed, decent pillows.
The doors to the balcony are in need of new rollers or a service - very minor thing but my petite partner was unable to open or close. Also, unsure if there was a golfing event on but we drove around the car park many times and could not get a parking space; ended up just parking on the grass out the front of the property facing the main road. Even when leaving at 10:00 Sunday the car park was at capacity; parking on the grass involved a kerb hop which in my vehicle was fine but I’d imagine not possible for a smaller vehicle. Lastly; we tried calling for room service 2-3 times - again it’s a minor thing and doesn’t take away from the lovely room, brilliant facilities, and that view of the ocean from the room!

Great location for our needs. The price I got off booking.com was value for money. Reception staff welcoming and explained our options during our stay. The room was perfectly positioned looking out to the horizon over the golf course. We ate in the bistro for dinner and both my daughter and myself couldn’t fault the food. Bistro staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our sleep was uninterrupted with the room very sound proof. We were staying as a stopover but want to return and stay and watch a league game at WIN stadium (next door) when our team is playing there. Definitely recommend a stay here.
There was nothing I didn’t like

Location, friendly staff, staff assisted with carrying luggage to & from room. Location was fine for what we required. Discount was given for problems listed below. Other than "What we didn't like" below we were satisfied with the accommodation.
Lifts not working was the major disappointment. Whilst we were made aware of this prior to arrival it was too late to look for other suitable accommodation. On-line led us to believe that breakfast was available on site but this proved to be incorrect. Perhaps a few parking spaces could be reserved for those staying overnight or longer as depending on when you arrive it can be quite a walk from your vehicle to Reception.

Unfortunately we didn’t have breakfast at your venue as we had a tournament to get to, so we provided our own breakfast in the room for no other reason than we had to be up & out. However, we did manage to have a lunch & dinner on occasions and was very happy with the service & quality of the food.
Sadly the lift wasn’t working, of which we were aware of prior to arriving. Sadly our friends we had arranged the trip with were unable to stay with us due to not being able to manage the stairs. However, On the positive side it kept us fit !!! Ha ha!

Fantastic view of the golf course and ocean from our apartment. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Hotel is very close to the beach and has easy access to the golf course. It is within walking distance from the stadium, restaurants, and shops.
Unfortunately there is only one lift and it was not working at the time of our visit. The staff informed us in advance but could not accommodate us anywhere else as all rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. Due to the lift inconvenience, the friendly and helpful hotel staff helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is called Best Western City Sands, but is known to the locals as the Best Western golf club. The hotel name on the wall does not say City Sands either but The Nineteenth, so it was initially a bit confusing for us as non-locals.
