This is my second stay at the Stella, and it will probably become my go-to in Yamba; the location across the road from Main Beach is unbeatable, and it’s a pretty close walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants in the main part of town. I didn’t use them this time, but the common room facilities are also pretty nifty if you’re looking to self cater.

The rooms are quite small, so don’t count on lounging around relaxing in your room all day. That said, the room I was clean and comfortable and I’d stay here again for sure. There’s a good common lounge room area if you need a bit of space…and of course the beaches across the road and around the corner!!

Awesome. The room was well appointed and the staff were cheery and amazing. They were happy to give you anything you needed. We enjoyed using the massive shared kitchen and meeting other travellers there. Also, the common spaces with comfortable lounges were welcome. The location was perfect for access to the beaches, parks and nearby restaurants. The town centre is down the steep hill, less than a 10 minute stroll. There you will find groceries and more restaurants. We had a great week at the Stella.

Located perfectly within walking distance to the best restaurants and beaches. The sweetheart at reception was so friendly in the morning as I missed her at checking in late :). Best thing was the attention to detail of cleanliness in the room..and also the little touches like a decent sized coffee cup and comfortable bed and sheets.. Great for respectful adults. We don’t want much but boy you know it when a hotel gets it right ! Like travelling in style and being thoughtfully left to it. Details not lost on me as an international flight attendant who has stayed in many many hotels. Loved Stella’s and can’t wait to come back!! Perfect. Book it. You will be so happy you did!

Please lighten up on the room spray fragrance. 🙏🏼Nevertheless , It absolutely won’t stop me staying there again as I’m so delighted to find such a gem of a place!!

The location is hard to beat. A short walk to the Pacific Hotel, the main beach, shops and restaurants. The common facilities are excellent, with a number of different relaxing areas with seating in a courtyard, a lounge, and an area with panoramic views over the river. A large kitchen and eating areas are included.

There are 2 rooms in the complex that are particularly small, of which I had one! The particular room was also the only one that had no provision for an outside table and chair. However it was comfortable and newly renovated. I will know for next time!

The place and room wonderful. It was located centrally in Yamba and was easy to drive to with available parking out front near my room. The receptionist very welcoming and freindly offering all the services available and whats on and around Yamba. Guests were freindly and had entertainment area whichvi didnt have time to use. The room had a wondetful refreshing essence. It felt so clean and some chilled music playing from tv. Very nice ambience. The single bed very comfortable, lovely shower, wfi worked well. Location perfect. A few minute walk to shops, club, beach which I didn't get time to walk to.

Nothing really but if I had to be picky was maybe now and then voices of various guests that would walk by the window. For privacy there blinds to close. Other than that it was a very clean and would have loved to stay longer. Would stay here next time.

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our short stay for a sports event. The room was surprising comfortable and cosy despite dipping temperatures outside the room was a comfortable temperature. Reception staff were friendly and approachable. Room felt crisp and modern. Shower was a nice size.

Rooms were very compact! not sure there is much that can be done about this but worth people being aware when booking. I thought the room design and facilities were well thought through to optimise the room size for function. Perfect for me at 5'4" but for my taller friends the double would have been a better bed choice.

I got the last room yesterday. I booked in late but that was no problem. A key was left in a key safe for me. I had a small single room but it was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I used the communal kitchen to heat up some dinner and slept well. The Stella is opposite the ocean which although I had to work I took out 5 minutes to enjoy the view this morning and the moon over the water when I arrived last night was beautiful. Deb is friendly and welcoming and recognised me this morning from my last stay. I'll be back.

Great location, helpful staff. I had a single room which is very small, but adequate . The staff gave me access to the basement to store my bikes and surfboard etc. Kitchen and lounge area makes it a very comfortable place to stay

I did cut my foot on the bottom of the security door, very sharp edge which they have promised to rectify when the maintenance man returns. Hope they follow through on that as spoke to another regular guest who had done the same thing

The location of the Stella was so impressive. I wished I'd had more time to get out and explore. My walk down to the Kiosk for breakfast the next day was so lovely - I was impressed with how accessible everything was. The staff were so welcoming, the clearly love the property and want you to feel at home there.

I hadn't considered that booking a room for a solo traveller would mean a single bed. It pays to pay attention to what you are actually booking. In saying that, it was very comfortable.

I was very happy with check in. Deborah was more than helpful as I was soaking wet from my journey and she showed me the laundry room (Free) got me some milk and showed me my room. I thought it was a really nice touch to do that and it was much apreciated. They lent me a brolly as well.

Hard to fault really, its next to the beach and the town, its clean, staff excellent, good facilities and a comfortable bed and decent bathroom. in room fridge, TV, wifi. all for a very low price. great for a quick stay or longer id say.
