Location is quiet and peaceful yet just minutes from Yamba main town. It’s a gentle gamily friendly place - kids can scoot or bike safely about. The pool area is great as is the bar that has service. Our deluxe cottage was very spacious and comfortable, though unfortunately the air con only reached the main living areas and not the bedrooms.

I’ll start with the worst thing - WIFI.. or lack there of. Our cottage barely picked up signal, nor did our own networks. This is not only dangerous but completely frustrating!! Especially if you want to use the QR code for room servicee or stream shows for your kids on an iPad. The resort is tired and needs a make over in certain areas. Kids play area seems abandoned with missing equipment, no shade cloths for the area either. The play room is handy but also basic. Hopefully the new ownership by NRMA will bring this place back to its full potential.

Great pool area especially for kids. Both our toddlers could stand in most of the kids pool, bigger pool was great and spa area for adults was lovely. We didn’t try the restaurant this time as we have young children, but it was nice last time we stayed. Good to be able to grab coffee and ice creams from reception. Location is nice and a short drive to Yamba.

There were a few things that didn’t really meet our expectations. Most of the playground equipment had been removed and the indoor play centre is pretty grubby and tired. We had to rewash most of the dishes when we arrived which is likely due to the last guests washing up, but this should still be checked by housekeeping before new guests arrive. We had a leak from ceiling in our room, which I told reception about and while the staff were very nice and said they would look at it, no one came to check it out even though we had days of heavy rain. We also had mouse droppings in our room - which again, I told the staff about - but nothing was done. In general the place could definitely be cleaner - including the common areas.

Great location, comfy, and spacious apartment. Had everything we needed. Facilities are awesome, so there is so much to do for the kids and a separate pool and jacuzzi area for adults. Bikes onsite for hire. Just 15 minutes down the road is Blue and Green Pools, such a beautiful spot to spend the day. There is so much more to see around Yamba, a beautiful area to stay and explore.

A bummer to see young kids in the jacuzzi, obviously with their parents, but that is why they have their own pool area to play in. So you can't really enjoy the adults only area. Suggest that the staff monitor this more often. You can hear everything in the unit above you - thankfully, it was our last night at the apartment when holidaymakers arrived. However, overall, it was a nice stay.

They no longer have breakfast buffet unfortunately. The kids all said they missed that. The staff did everything they could to make our stay the best eg. I asked for more towels, I received more towels. Our AC was leaking condensation from the head unit, and our vanity waste was partially blocked, and the fluoro in the kitchen malfunctioned, but the maintenance guys were really quick to respond and sort all 3 issues out, even though they weren't all straight forward fixes. It's got a great family vibe, the pool is large by any resort standard at this price, and it's a great value for money place to stay.

There was no ice tray in the freezer. The meals take a while to appear at the restaurant, but they're sizeable portions and general worth the wait.

The facilities are great whether you’re a couple or family with young children, and best of all the staff really make this resort special - they’re so helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. As the resort is a little way from, it’s great for the peace and tranquility, but take advantage of the bicycles to get into Yamba.

There didn’t seem to be anywhere to have a sit down breakfast, such as the restaurant, and the gym equipment could do with an update and open before 7am.

Lovely location. Very quiet and attractive. Great value for money. Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort. It has a nice overall 'feel'.

Although it sounds minor, there were no plugs for the bath or the kitchen sink, which was quite inconvenient. The beds are rather hard and uncomfortable, OK for me but not my friend, who has sleeping issues. Staff at reception did not seem that friendly this time, not as friendly as they were during previous stays. The music at the pool is sometimes a bit loud and intrusive. Otherwise, little to complain about.

I loved the large heated pool with the Pool bar! I thought it would be too hot but it was perfect, a glass of wine was $7! Not many people were staying during the week so it was really quiet! The weekends were noisy on the balcony, everyone’s conversations were very clear. I had a 1 bedroom unit overlooking the pond, the noises at night were fascinating like being in the Amazon jungle. The balcony is enclosed with glass and screens. Didn’t have any issue with mozzies. Yamba market was really good, heaps of stalls. Had an excellent take away pizza from Sassafras restaurant and great lunch with a view at Yamba Shores Tavern. Good little shopping plaza! Fantastic bookshop in a little arcade in town.

I wish I had have known to book into the Spa prior to arriving. I booked for 7 days and could only get an appt for what I wanted on day 6. It was a bit tired and shabby in the parts, the therapy pool was divine, the treatment was lovely and the beautician was lovely but not worth the price I paid! The background music ceased halfway through the treatment, it sounded like the speaker ran out of charge or someone left for the day with their phone. I extended one night, I thought as I had stayed 7 nights, they may allow me the same deal of $160 p/n but had to pay full price at $230 p/n. I would stay again but only on the off peak season with a 40% or more discount.

Very clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful. The pools are excellent, same for the spa!

WiFi is terrible. My apartment had no signal at all, and Vodafone doesn't works there - I had to walk around the hotel holding my laptop during the night to get some work done. The hotel's restaurant was a terrible experience. It seems pleasant and welcoming at first, we had decide to have our family dinner there on day one, what a disappointment... the food is overly expensive for what it offers. Some main dishes are smaller than kids meals, and tasteless. Get your car and find any other place nearby, you'll be far better.

Spacious apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor sitting area that is enclosed with flywire. The staff recommended visiting the Angourie Rock Pools, and having a drink at The Pacific Hotel to watch the sunset, and then dinner at El Ocaso, with fantastic Italian food.

The property is located outside of Yamba. There is an on-site restaurant, but otherwise, you need to drive into town for supplies or dinner.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom spa apartment. There was plenty of room for a couple, loads of space, drawers cupboards. etc. We only stayed 2 nights but it was so easy to unpack the minute we got there and to settle in. Plenty of power points, and all amenities you need for a short stay. Nice size lounge room, bedroom, kitchen & enclosed balcony, although we didn't go out there as it was cold. The air con was perfect to heat the apartment and it was a great base to use for our trip.

Nothing really, it was good value for money.
