room was tidy and the view we had over the story bridge was mega cool, room a touch smaller than we thought but was pretty good overall. our stay was really good inside the hotel but outside the hotel the street it's on is a tough one. one way most the way down and allot of homeless in the street. some of which wanna pick a fight with you cause your staying in the nice hotel and others who just want some help. hopefully maybe FV can help do something for these people out the front.

The facilities were great. Really nice pools. Nice spacious rooms. Location is great for nightlife

The pool area was really busy with groups of young people with music , so it was hard to really enjoy and relax. Definitely a party atmosphere rather than chilling as you would think from the photos. The parking is a few blocks away and the hotel charges us double the price as if we had booked the same parking by ourselves online. I feel ripped off with that. Normally hotels give you discounts or validation on parking, not charge you 100% additional! Also, Noone told us it was extra until checkout, so it was a surprise at the end. Very sly way to go about making extra cash on the parking.

If you want nightlife and dinners in the Fortitude Valley this hotel is in perfect walking distance! The highlight were the facilities. These included private spa and cinema rooms but make sure to book these ahead of time (maybe even call before your stay if you want a night-time slot, when we got to the hotel there were only morning and afternoon slots available for both spa and cinema rooms). The spa was very warm so perfect to get in during winter. Time slots lasted 4 hours. The spa was romantic for us as a couple and I can imagine it would be fun for a group (just remember to ask for extra towels at reception). We did not get a chance to use the cinema during our stay unfortunately.

The heated pool isn’t warm, only a few degrees warmer than normal so it’s not suitable for winter which is when we went. But I can imagine it would be lovely in spring and summer.

location, friendly staff, air-conditioning

No television service for entire stay, apparently the server is located on the Gold Coast and was knocked out in the storm, there is no alternative means to get even free to air television. Also the air-conditioning makes a terrible noise akin to crickets chirping an this goes 24 hours a day. Last visit I found by opening a window very slightly it stopped, this time that wasn't an option. Staff can't do anything, it's a design/ engineering fault. Also roof top pool has next to no shade, I understand why there can't be umbrellas however no shade to get in mad a visit unappealing.

Staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, efficient. The hotel itself is lovely - clean and modern, and the Health / Leisure area has beautiful views, nice furniture, and was lovely and clean. The 2Bdr apartment was a little small to live in but perfectly fine for a brief stay. Great views, fixtures and fittings are nice and modern.

In the room itself the kitchen would benefit from adding some more utensils and serving dishes, pans and kitchen knives. The curtains aren't blockout so it was a little bright in the morning, but great for early birds. The shower water pressure was a little lacking so count on a longer shower to rinse off!

The location is unparalleled for a hotel in Fortitude Valley, if.you want to access the bars, nightclubs and music venues. The room was beautiful and spacious and had all the amenities (except mini bar) that I could have wanted.

The check-in process felt clumsy, I used Google Maps to locate the hotel which led to the residents entrance, I then had to go around the corner to find the hotel entrance. Then after checking in I had to go back around to the first entrance as that was the building my room was in. For checking out I also had to go back around to the hotel, I would have appreciated an express check out option in the resident's building.

the rooms were very nice and the views were amazing and the location of the place was amazing too. It was really close to the train station and really close to a 7/11 and many different facilities. It was also close to many bars and clubs.

when we were going to our room there was a weird smell in the floor, but our room smelt really good. there was a garbage disposal close to our rooms so we just thought that may have been the cause of the bad smell.

Modern apartment, great shower pressure & temperature, large bed, comfy sofa bed, in a great location not too far from all the hustle & bustle of Fortitude Valley. Reception staff were friendly.

It can be super challenging to find a spot to park in order to check in. They have a loading/10mins parking bay out the front which could probably hold 3 cars. If there’s no space you’re stuck trying to drive around and around until a space becomes free as it is on the main drag. If you’re not a confident driver within the city this is something to keep your eye out for and prepare for. Had to pay $300 safety bond per room (rented 2 rooms so totalling $600 on top) which was inconvenient as that can be a huge lump for some. Expected to get the bond back within a week or two.

Lovely spacious apartment. Well equipped. Good beds and pillows. Rooftop pool was fabulous.

Dodgy area with kids. No bedside lamps in either bedroom! Had to ask twice to get some and only by the kindness of Daniel the valet did we get 2 that worked. Weekly room servicing not enough. We had to ask for additional towels, laundry and dishwash powder.

I’ve stayed with FV by Peppers a few times and I always come back confident that I can rely on a comfortable, clean and safe place to rest my head. With a stylish open plan kitchen and living space, separate bathroom and a spacious bedroom; their apartments boast all the away from home comforts one could ask for. Guests are provided with a swipe token along with their keycard which will allow you access only to your floor and shared amenities like the pool and gym. This swipe token will also allow you access to the residence after hours as they lock their reception for guest safety and security. This is a huge comfort and a massive win in my book when arranging accommodation. Location is perfect for individuals looking to be centred around some of the best restaurants and bars in Brisbane or for families looking to escape to the parks and restaurants in the northern suburbs. The staff are always friendly, professional and accommodating and have been without fault on every stay I have had so far.

I only note this for light sleepers; but the last couple of occasions we have stayed on the lower level floors facing the northern suburbs, (on Barry Parade). This being such a busy road for local traffic can make it quite noisy until all hours of the night. Previously I have paid a premium to stay in their apartments on a higher level and I can assure you it is definitely worth some consideration if you do struggle with background noise at night. Plus the city views are absolutely worth it!
