The room was beautifully furnished, new and very clean. I'm surprised there's a check-in gift. The location of the hotel is very convenient, 3 minutes to walk to the Valley Metro Station.There are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. When I park my car, the staff is very happy to help me find my parking space. The infinity pool and spa are astonishing.There is a very big balcony on the roof, our family enjoyed an amazing view of Brisbane city.I noticed there are some Barbecue facilities and leisure tables and chairs here. Maybe next time, we can try a barbecue party. The mattress in the master bedroom was firm enough for my lower back pain, and the staff kindly added a softer mattress to the other bed for my child.

being slugged for $25 for an overnight parking charge, put a very bad taste into my mouth as to question whether I should book again.

The parking was difficult to understand. For some reason you have to drive on the opposite side of Australian roads? Wasn’t told of parking fee.

It was clean and always maintained

The rubbish the room was full with bags of rubbish not being able to be placed down the shute at the time possibly because of the holiday season. *A recommendation for hygiene purposes have a tiled or Lino floor so that it can be mopped daily to prevent smells or stains from spilled rubbish. The window in the room was cracked and should have been replaced before the holiday season and before letting out to customers. It could have been a hazard if the weather got worse. We were lucky It was very handy to stores and public transportation also a local pub across the road on the corner for drinks I wouldn’t recommend eating there as it was a bit pricey, however nice eating

Modern furnishings, beautifully decorated interior, super comfortable beds, good location, great appliances like the dishwasher, washer/dryer, pool and gym

Lack of basic essentials like salt and pepper, scissors, and there was only 1 dishwashing powder when we were staying for 5 nights. Reception were able to give us more dishwashing power, but would be good for the property to consider the length of stay and number of guests to determine how much essentials should be left in the room.

The supermarket and train station are very close (in the shopping centre). It also only took about 15 minutes to walk to Howard Smith Wharves and the ferry. The reception staff were quick to respond when we needed additional supplies (toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc). The bed was lovely, the apartment space was sufficient, TV good, air-conditioning cooled.

The kitchen equipment was limited, for example there were only butter knives and nothing sharp enough to cut or open packets. We arrived at 10.30pm on a Thursday evening and the surrounding area's (Brunswick Mall) were busy with a lot of young people who had drunk too much. This is not the fault of the apartment management but for future travelers I would avoid this location at night. Head along to the James Street area instead.

Location was perfect as it was right across the street from where I was heading for New Year’s Even only go out once or twice a year and can’t take public transport so stayed a few days to wonder around & explore the area. The staff was extremely kind, efficient helpful my apartment was very clean, spacious & comfortable. I loved the design of the balcony. The pool was a bit too cold for me but the spa was divine. I love the security of getting into the lobby and also having to use the key card to be able to get the elevator moving it definitely gave me added piece of mind. Not that I used it to make plans this time but the QR code on the beside the air con for guests to scan to see what’s currently around I think is a fabulous idea.

Honestly the water smelled rather funky so had to go out & buy bottled water. The bedroom door to the balcony could do with a curtain or blind to block out the morning sun.

The FREE upgrade to Urban View 23rd Floor and friendly helpful staff. The manager was very prompt and friendly/professional, coming to address a problem with our shower. He kindly opened the other room for us to use at no extra charge so we didn't have the inconvenience of shifting. The room was so quiet and the views and space were amazing. The furnishings were modern and the place was very clean. The pool/ hot spa and rooftop area were amazing with fantastic views. Located in a prime walking position with the use of public transport made easy. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other travellers.

The pillows were only one size, very large and not that comfortable for us. Maybe a few different sizes could be added. Maybe some microwavable containers since the room was fully equipped with cooking facilities.

Don't feel like I can elaborate further on the boxes I ticked. I'd be more than happy to stay here again. I will say the sound proofing was a lot better than the previous place I stayed in Fortitude Valley, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room upgrade was appreciated also.

Only criticism is the $200 refundable deposit at the start of the stay. I do understand why hotels do this (although I'd really prefer they didn't), but most locations will only take $100. This money comes out of my spending money budget for my holiday, and I don't get it back until my holiday is over! $200 is a little steep. Please consider only taking $100 from guests in line with other locations. It's not enough to stop me staying again, it's just kind of a bummer.
