I have stayed before and love the comfortable, spacious rooms and the great location. I love the happy hour and particularly the lady who runs the bar - so welcoming and professional.

I did not like the fact that car parking is $35 a night and that no concession/ discount offered when I was staying Monday to Thursday ( quiet time) and 3 nights. I was particularly disappointed with breakfast and more so because when I addressed it with manager / breakfast FOH I was given excuses and no apologies. $30.00 is comparatively very expensive ( I eat breakfast a lot in Brisbane ) and worse - I ordered mixed mushrooms and received 4 slices of field mushrooms on one piece of sourdough and a little spinach - the worst breakfast I have had. I was told that it depended on supply of mushrooms and there were no apologies. Although I love staying and have many more work trips planned this year I will have to reconsider staying here because of this.

Big TV, balcony, location (atm, supermarket, cafe/restaurants nearby), and South Bank on walking distance.

Although we had the King room upgrade, that was supposed to approx 35m2, it felt like we had a smaller room of approx 25m2. Rooms down the hallway were bigger. We asked clarification at reception and got the answer that the room was the correct (bigger room). We could have moved to another room, but we were tired from travelling. As the rooms on Booking.com do not 100% match the rooms on their website, and furniture is not the same (e.g. chair in stead of a sofa), we advised the hotel to update their information on Booking.com.

Everything was great. However, one tiny thing, I saw that my payment went through as NRL. I was at an all day conference at Sofitel. I urgently rang my Westpac bank, who advised me to put a hold on it. I did, now waiting on new replacement card. I didnt find out till that Saturday night, when I returned to hotel, and checked with Reception. They advised Beetson had been bought by NRL. I hope you can change this account detail soon, and warn other clients of this. I thought someone had fraudulently used my card to buy footy tickets.

It definitely feels like an upper class hotel. The decor was classy, and having such a great seafood restaurant next door, made it feel a bit more special. The location was great for the stadium and a great variety of restaurants and bars. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the room had everything I wanted. I had a bit of a view towards Southbank, although I bet the noise from the stadium on a game night would be incredible.

Only minor details. The bathroom wasn't completely private, the glass covers had slots that you could see through. And you had to reach under the shower head to turn it on.

Let's start off.. - The price was cheap for the quality of room that you get. - Bus stop is 2min walk away - The staff on arrival were happy and welcoming tip top service. - The room was massive and my gosh the bed was absolutely perfect. - Massive flat screen TV at the end of the bed felt like sleep in your own home theatre. - The bathroom was spacious and clean. - The views (third floor) were very nice with a good view of the surrounding area You will not regret staying.

Can't think of anything was literally the perfect stay.

Super clean and tidy and the staff is very exceptionally accommodating. I can’t imagine arriving at 4am in the hotel which is obviously not time for check-in? But Sam who managed the reception counter that time went above and beyond the normal and exceptionally accommodated me in a room that I considered as a five (5) star accommodation! Daily cleaning of the room was provided even without asking. What an exceptional service this hotel have!

Nothing. This property is exceptional and worthy of every dollar you paid.

Relatively close to the center, clean room, good bathroom, nice to relax after a long walk around the city, friendly staff

On bunking.com there is a rating of 5 stars, but there were little things because of which I would not give them: badly scratched headboard of the bed, bathrobes had to ask the staff, they were not there initially, toothbrushes were also not there, they were brought, but the brushes were in mold, which was very unpleasantly surprising. There is no complimentary parking, you have to pay extra money to park at the hotel, and the hotel itself is in an area where street parking for more than a certain amount of time will cost money

bed was super comfy, room was clean and the shower was heavenly. friendly helpful staff and good location for getting around. food downstairs was very expensive but the pub across the road had some cheap counter meals.

kept hearing banging/knocking sounds fairly regularly like a door was being slammed throughout all hours, not sure if it was another guest or just part of the normal operation of the hotel. the tv (foxtel) reception was unwatchable but thankfully the on demand and free to air services were great.

It was a good location, staff friendly, parking was incredibly low and I drive a stock 2016 ranger (for reference) and I scraped my antenna on almost every ceiling underneath there and very tight parking spots so that was a bit iffy but still managed. Toilets and shower were very nice and tidy besides the shower door doesn’t close all the way and water tends to spill out onto tiles a fair bit. Bed was comfy and aircon nice and cold, pretty spacious and very comfortable room so was the balcony has a nice view aswell

Location is great, so close to town and a 5 minute walk from the event we were attending. Hotel was very classy and rooms were private and comfortable. One of our rooms had a balcony which we could view all the beautiful old Queenslander cottages over the area. Just love Brisbane and its history.

Not sure how people check in when you can't park out the front. We could park there simply because we arrived on the weekend outside the parking restriction times.
