Convenience, price, location and the staff. When I checked in I was greeted by the lovely Ray at reception 23/01/05 around 4pm. His customer service exceeded all expectations. I have managed customer service teams within different sectors and he by far is unmatched. I accidentally locked myself out of my room around 8pm stuck on the balcony, panicking that the office was closed and no way to get in, when I called the line he answered and came to my aid. Soho is very fortunate to be graced with his presence. Thankyou Ray, you represent the hotel with so much grace and professionalism. I will definitely be back.

Parking was very limited.

Lovely location directly opposite the park next to a private hospital. To the main city hall central area was a nice 10-15 mins walk through park. Be aware, it is called Spring Hills for a reason… so there are ups and downs for the walk. Room was basic but with everything you need for a short stay. Bed was comfortable and firm. Air conditioning unit was good and cold enough for those hot and humid days.

The shower was very small and tired. The water pressure wasn’t good and the water temperature kept changing form boiling hot to cold… The window in bathroom could not close, so if you happen to have people smoking outside, you will be able to smell it.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Reception staff were cheery when we arrived, even though it was late at night. There were great recommendations for things to do and we were also given a map of the surrounding area. The bed was really comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The view and little balcony was a nice touch and the location fantastic.

There was no "no disturb" sign so our bed was remade after we made it in the morning before going to coffee. We do not enjoy the way hotel beds are made and always untuck absolutely everything when we sleep, but there was no way to let the staff know we did not want the room tidied as we were out and about before the reception opened. The doors don't seal well so the room really lights up at night when you try to sleep as the cracks all around the doors let light in. The light-blocking curtains do a terrific job in front of the windows, though. The aircon was extremely noisy, but I never travel without earplugs so that ended up not being too bad.

I was planning on staying at another hotel but Unfortunately they had increased their rates, which was very nearby but didn't realise until I arrived at the Soho. From check in to check out everything was a breeze. The rooms are smaller but being a boutique hotel that's expected. The check in staff are so helpful and go above and beyond. I had a large bag and unfortunately there is no lift but my bag was brought to my room without a hassle. The cleaning staff do an amazing job and housekeeping comes around everyday. The rooms are not only spotless but snell nice too. The airconditioning is Icy cold and the water pressure is amazing. A little diamond hidden amongst the city. Definitely be going back next time I travel to Brisbane.

No lift but staff are willing to help with luggage. Couldn't find any other faults. I had an amazing stay.

Room was small but everything was comfortable and pretty quiet. I slept well in the bed. It was cozy and comfy. The concierge was super friendly, personable and helpful. He clearly loves Brisbane and gave great suggestions to go be a tourist at and places to go and eat. I took suggestions for both, and they were great. His dinner suggestions were especially excellent, and the Creole restaurant down the street was amazing. He also learned my name and called me it anytime we spoke. I would stay here again.

Some things were a bit a dated, but everything was comfortable and worked well.

I've forgotten the name of the guy in front desk, I think maybe Ray, but his customer service was next level. It's always great going somewhere and to be greeted by someone who just seems generally interested in helping and assisting and just is happy it really makes the experience enjoyable. The room was clean and was all I needed for my brief stay.

I think if I have to fault anything, they need a lift or ramp to the rooms as it was a bit difficult getting my luggage down but I'm also sure if I'd called front desk he would have come help me, I don't really have too many complaints.

The room is perfect and comfortable during my short stay. Really like the location, its clean and has the walking distance to the main CBD.

Nothing is dislike with the room and the only experience is the bed footing are not stable due to the rolling wheels are not locked.

We only stayed one night as we were in Brisbane from the Gold Coast for a party. The room, while small, was clean, tidy, and quiet, and had everything you needed. The bed was also very comfortable. The location and proximity to Roma Street station and shopping is fantastic! Definitely value for money. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again, especially if we were relying solely on public transport.

The only thing bad was the parking. There's about a dozen carparks and probably 4 times the number of rooms. The party we attended was at The Gap at a private residence, so we needed our car. By the time we got back to the hotel, all the parking was gone, and we had to park in the side street, which is quite limited as well and has time restraints during weekdays.

The staff was very accommodating considering we traveled with our 6-month old. They allowed an early check-in and provided us with a room which just required one flight of stairs to be accessed. Although no restaurant onsite, there are a few good ones nearby - the Italian one next door does a great bolognaise and the Persian one around the corner had some fantastic meat options. The room was small but very functional and clean. Just 50m away you have access to a great park and The Garden Room, a restaurant highly recommended for breakfast. Just 10min walk to Queens Street Mall and others.

We couldn't get our balcony door to open. Not sure if I just couldn't figure out the lock-mechanism but it would have been nice to open up the room. The aircon did work very effectively in keeping the room cool.

Great and warm hospitality was offered by the receptionists during my check-in and check-out processes. I enjoyed the stay in this hotel as the room is clean and comfortable with sufficient facilities provided, plus the proximity to Roma Street train station and accessibility to shops and restaurants in Queen Street Mall.

Nothing much. Overall the reasonable price I booked generally met the expectations of my stay here.
