The room was great for what I needed. The bathroom was clean and spacious.
The aircon in my room was not working and was dripping water out of the front. I informed reception and was told “ there are no other rooms and they’ll tell maintenance “ that’s fine I thought as I thought I could open the doors on the balcony. Like the girl on reception when I checked in this girl looked unenthusiastic and didn’t really give two hoots about my problem. Check out is at 11am I checked out at 10 thank god because as I was waiting at the lift the maintenance man is banging on the door yelling maintenance.

I came for a music festival and the location was perfect. A short walk to the station. Easy enough to navigate. The bathroom was really modern and a bit small to maneuver but it was comfy enough. The beds were comfy, we had 2 single beds and they were great. The tv was great, bit small but worked fine. Balcony was refreshing, we had a great view. THE AIR CON worked AMAZING! Charger points beside the beds was great, spacious and was a very nice stay.
The general area, which I know the hotel cannot control, was a bit dodgy at night. There was a park where I felt unsafe walking back to the room after the music festival. If I chose to go around the park it would add 15 mins to my walk back.

Loved the location and outlook over Wickham Park and the historical clocktower. We'd booked the one bedroom apartment. There were two balconies, both with amazing views. The bedroom was dark. Finally! First accommodation of five places we stayed in on this trip that had a dark bedroom. There was a seperate living area with a kitchenette and washing machine (I think). We had breakfast downstairs in the restaurant bar area. We were the only ones. Breakfast was delicious. The service was just OK, not that welcoming. The tabletops were really dusty. Would have loved to have stayed longer.
As we were leaving an elderly couple came in to book without notice. The older gentleman had had a recent medical procedure and couldn't walk far. There were no vacancies. The receptionist said sorry and left them standing there in confusion in the lobby. They'd stayed there several times in the past and had had no trouble in getting a booking before. As we stood there in the entryway, I rang up a couple of places for them to see if there was a hotel available near by. Unfortunately we had to leave for the airport, but shame on the hotel for not looking after an elderly couple. This is the reason I'll downgrade my rating for this hotel.

The room was comfortable, the balcony was great allowing for sunlight and fresh air. Appreciated the extra blanket so no need for any AC heating. The location was great, being able to walk to the gardens so easily.
Unfortunately we stayed on a weekend so people coming back through the corridors after partying was extremely loud and continued for some time. Due to the nature of the building when the couple next door came back at night and had a huge argument in the room and on the balcony it was like they were in the room with us.

I stayed on the first floor (110). I've used this place a number of times to save the bother of the taxi home. It was great to see that the bathroom had been completely renovated. Absolutely brand new. It was great to see. As ever I enjoyed my stay. This hotel provides great value for money
Nothing that I didn't like. For what you pay, it's great value and everything is only a few minutes walk away. My tip, if returning from the city and you don't like stairs simply walk up Edward St and turn left at the lights. The steps are brutal after midnight!

Excellent modern bathroom and a huge balcony were assets. Queen St. Mall was a few minutes away. Lovely location with a park across the street. Very pleased with my choice!
I waited four hours to-get my room. When you fly twenty hours this is not okay. I emailed several months before to get my room asap and that didn’t happen.

Closeness to the City walking distance Been able to jump on a free city loop bus.. And a lovely view from our room.
No telephone in the room...... Only 1 bedside lamp.... No lamp on the writing table.... Only 1 Washing Machine and Dryer. Not been able to buy a Coffee after 7pm..... Though our room was cleaned most day's, some how a bandaid which was not mine, that was next to my bedside cabinet was never picked up while cleaning.... My husband had to pick it up eventually.

It's a great location on Wickham Terrace. It is a uniquely designed property as it is 'in the round'. The balconies and the views vary depending on your room's aspect. There are 10 rooms per floor & I prefer the 01,09,10 rooms as they face Wickham Terrace & the CBD vista. The Bistro is reasonably priced, staff are friendly. A great policy for extended check-out time @ affordable prices.
The lifts can be a bit slow .

great location, comfy bed, good restaurant below. handy car park
There was a working stove top but no utensils ie pots or pans to cook on. Also a microwave but no bigger bowls, and the the plates and cups supplied were minimal. I asked for dishwashing liquid, t towel and cooking gear ie fry pan and egg flip and was told you do not supply these but did at least provide a t towel. I think you could advertise and promote this as a kitchenette and include the above and a toaster . My room key also did not work on the last night at 11.00pm and I had to wait half an hour for security to come to be let back into my room.

It was an older hotel but the reception and restaurant area was lovely and modern. The receptionist was very welcoming. The rooms were great for the age and price. My kids were very happy. The bathrooms had been updated. Amazing location, only 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. Great value for money. I liked it there so much that this will be one of my first places to look for bookings when I head down to Brisbane.
The underground parking was very narrow. However, on a positive note, it helped me refine my parking skills, squeezing in my large Toyota landcruiser into a tiny space. The lamps were old with old wiring, and they kept flickering on/off, nothing major but could be a fire hazard.
