This was the perfect location as I had to rest after an operation. It was close to the hospital. The room was very clean and tidy and I loved the decor colours. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was available at no extra cost. There is also a lovely cafe in the complex called 4 Hearts, and they serve delicious breakfasts and lunches most days. You can also buy necessities like deodorant, toothpaste etc at reception at a reasonable price. Security is very good. There is also a free bus called the Spring Hill Loop, which is a free service that can get you to appointments at Wickham Terrace and also to shop or eat in the Queen Street Mall. We stayed for 8 days and had quite a comfortable stay.

Being in the city, there is some traffic noise, but this can not be helped. Quieter on the weekend than a weekday. This does not detract from the convenience of the location.

I loved the location though the rooms had no sound proofing or much to keep from the outside noise. Could hear everyone going through yelling and cheering from outside which was a lil frustrating. Nice rooms, everything you need. Beds are hard and our bodies weren't used to them so that was difficult. All in all a good hotel when you need it.

Walls were thin, could hear doors slamming, people showering, chatting, just about anything in the rooms around and down the hall even! Beds were too hard, no comfort at all. Parking was aggravating. Not enough spots for the rooms, and extremely tight parking spots made for anxiety ridden parking.

Reception very clean and ease of checking in. I had an appointment at the Royal Brisbane Hospital mid-morning, and although checking out was no later than 10.00, we were allowed to leave our car in the hotel car park so we could walk to the hospital and collect the car again before 12.00. Room was very clean with all functioning amenities. The bed was very comfortable. I forgot to ask for a tax invoice upon checking out but Christine at reception was more than happy to help the next day after quick phone call and very efficiently emailed it to me right away. The cafe attached to the hotel was very convenient with very helpful & friendly staff who served us breakfast and gave us advice on best way to walk down to the hospital.

The room windows were not well insulated against the noise from the outside traffic (busy intersection). I was able to sleep with earplugs. However upon mentioning this to reception when we checked out, they advised us to ask for a "quiet" room next time when booking directly with them. This will mean a room away from the street and we look forward to this as we are very likely to stay there again in the future.

Comfortable bed, many pillows available, tea/coffee facilities great, very clean floor, satisfied with the bathroom, quiet especially room 307, location is close to the city and the 24 hours convenient shops and friendly staff. I like the washing machine which is available for guests. I got the value for the money I spent the two nights during my transit in Brisbane. It's cheap but similar to the very expensive hotels I've booked in Brisbane in the past. I'd love to stay there again in the near future.

Maybe if the lift can be a little bit faster, but not really an issue.

Excellent location. Easy walk to central. Excellent value for money given the high prices of Brisbane accomodation Price reflects older building on busy city corner and poor sound isolation. Not a concern for me Room tastefully modernised to degree with soft bed linens comfy bed. Spacious. Wifi excellent Reception and House staff welcoming helpful Great to have 24 hr reception Stayed 4 nights and if I had a similar price would stay again

Windows surprisingly completely opaque. No need as outlook was as expected. Didn't need to be hidden. Quite off putting. Easily rectified. Suggest improve sound isolation at same time as replacing glass.

The room was standard compact size, quite enough for me as a single guest. bathroom well stocked. Clean and well serviced. good working bench facility with enough power points. A bonus is the carpark, included in tariff, open 24 hours, no 'valet' charge. Front desk courteous and helpful. Good little cafe independently operated for breakfast and lunch.

The lift is elderly but works well. After 9 pm it does not service the ground floor, but you can walk up or down from walk from level 1. Key access to reception from front door, but not inconvenient. None of this was a problem, just an adjustment.

Decent mid-range hotel that provided all that was needed for a one-night stay, without any fancy extras. Shower pressure was 10/10. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and they happily stored my bag for the day while I explored Brisbane.

I had a room at the end of the corridor and the Wifi was patchy at best. As the name may suggest, the hotel is up a hill, so if you're getting around by foot be prepared for an uphill hike to get to the hotel.

The staff and location was amazing, not too close the city were there was noise and traffic but just close enough were everything was a walk away. I would definitely stay again. Good value for money. Not the most amazing rooms by any means but very comfortable and they all had a great warm homely feeling.

Not too much, only thing I could say is that they could’ve cleaned my room a bit more frequently. Apart from that no worries.

Stuff were welcoming and efficient. Checked out very early but a stuff was there to assist me.Rooms neat with all items stocked for a night stay thus would recommend other solo or family travellers for this place.

The restaurant is no longer there, which i know from my stay there few years back. however, you're close to several walking destination restaurant options, so no big off a deal.

The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable and the cleaning staff were helpful. No issues with wifi or TV etc

The balcony could have been better. Use of the lift being shut down after hours - meaning luggage needed to be taken out to the street and around the front was strange. Better security to the street would be a good ides
