The reception staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Michelle was particularly helpful with information on how to get around the area and to the city via public transport, also providing me a bus timetable and map which she marked out and explained. I appreciated having my bags stored before check in and after check out, this was a huge help.

It was a little disappointing that one staff member couldn't provide info on where the nearest convenience store was. I managed to find it myself, and it was literally a few minutes walk from the hotel. Knowing this would be beneficial for other travellers as the nearby IGA closed at 6pm so it helped finding the convenience store as it is open til late.

The receptionists were all very helpful about extending my stay and booking taxis. The room aircon was the most impressive for me, it was the first properly working one I'd met after the previous two hotels I'd stayed at. It also has a Nespresso (BYO capsules) machine and a small fridge. The location is excellent (10 minute walk downhill into town,and free bus on the Spring Hill Loop on the way back) but if you are coming by train make sure you take the Edward Street exit from the station to avoid stairs.

For the rate I thought the hotel was great. The only niggle were lights not being centrally controlled but this is very minor indeed.

-Place was fairly easy to get to -Place was a nice & easy distance away from where we were heading to & from each day. -Place was safe & secure with 24hr care & someone always minding the front desk. -Staff were very lovely & welcoming. -Room was clean & comfy. -There was also a few treats the staff had left inside a bag in the room (for free) for my friend & I to enjoy which was very kind & thoughtful of them. The treats were delicious & very much appreciated.

- The WiFi was a little sketchy (we had mobile data on our phones so wasn't the end of the world) -We wanted to connect our phones to the TV but our room didn't allow that for some reason or we just couldn't figure out how to or something I don't know what was going on there (again not the end of the world we just watched what we wanted to on our phones) -Our stay was a bit pricey from what we would've liked it to be (but then again pretty much everything is pricey these days so yeah it is what it is I guess)

The room was really nice, just stayed there one night cause I caught a bus from Roma Street. Cindy bed. Nice coffee machine and balcony.

It was really good value for money and the room was well maintained, staff were lovely. Personally not a fan that you take a photo copy of my passport and keep it in an unlocked drawer in the managers office. Had a bit of trouble with identity theft before so felt a bit uneasy about it, and not sure why it has to happen after I checked in and paid. Apart from that nice stay.

Great size room, fairly convenient location. Great having a bus stop directly across the road for the free Spring Hill Loop. Loved the security of the building. Staff were great, very compassionate and understanding about us having to unexpectedly extend our stay. Also very understanding when needing cutlery after food delivery. Our room had real opening windows which was fantastic!!

Shower was very small and hard to manoeuvre. Also would take a very long time for hot water which would unexpectedly cut out at times.

• The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in a hotel, bedding was clean and smelt fresh. Not a single wrinkle, hotel staff are magicians! • Room was spacious and the air conditioner was on when we entered the room at a perfect temperature. • Extra blankets and pillows provided. • Iron worked great, ironing board provided was in working order.

• Wish the room had a microwave but I knew it didn't when I booked, would have been great though. • Shower curtain let water out of shower onto bathroom floor, slip hazard if you don't put a towel down. • Windows couldn't be opened to let in fresh air, they were taped up with thick black tape.

I loved the location, it is so handy with only a 700m walk to Central Station. It is also very close to the Roma Street Gardens which is a bonus. There is a Cafe just out the front which was closed late Saturday, but I've been there before which is good.

Very limited parking under the Hotel and pretty much only suited to small cars. However, there is a Wilson Car Park just around the corner which charge $13 per weekend day which I thought was reasonable.

This was the perfect location as I had to rest after an operation. It was close to the hospital. The room was very clean and tidy and I loved the decor colours. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking was available at no extra cost. There is also a lovely cafe in the complex called 4 Hearts, and they serve delicious breakfasts and lunches most days. You can also buy necessities like deodorant, toothpaste etc at reception at a reasonable price. Security is very good. There is also a free bus called the Spring Hill Loop, which is a free service that can get you to appointments at Wickham Terrace and also to shop or eat in the Queen Street Mall. We stayed for 8 days and had quite a comfortable stay.

Being in the city, there is some traffic noise, but this can not be helped. Quieter on the weekend than a weekday. This does not detract from the convenience of the location.

We arrived quite early and the receptionist was kind enough to let us store our luggage while waiting for check in. Overall, the location was dead at night. But it was just a few stops away from CBD so no issue. Also, it was convenient for us to utilise the free shuttle bus and the bus stop was located just opposite of the hotel.

The wifi connection was a bit loopy. Had to connect and reconnect few times just to get a decent connection.

The lady who checked us in (older lady with a short grey bob haircut) wasn't very friendly she was quite rude to all of us who stayed, very passive aggressive behaviour from her, we most definitely won't stay again due to this treatment... We are all hard working honest people trying to enjoy a hard earned holiday. We took time off work to travel over 7 hours and spent a lot of money we don't appreciate being treated this way.
