We stayed in Rose Cottage and were more than impressed with our stay. Sitting on the porch engaging with the brush turkey's and being entertained by mountain birdsong was a treat. The bed and bedding were wonderful and we had a perfect night's sleep. The cottage had more than everything we needed for a couple of nights while we explored the Tamborine area. Cleanliness was exemplary also. The location was perfect. Walking distance to shops and all required amenities. It was nice to have a meal at wonderful restaurants and be able to have a couple of wine's or cocktails and leave the car at the cottage. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Trattoria MKIII. A Must! You get a lot for your money at Kidd Street Cottages. A Fantastic stay and I will definitely both recommend and say again in the near future.

We stayed in the Rose Cottage and were so pleased with everything. It was just off the main street so walking distance to cafes and the bakery, but quiet and quaintly tucked away. The fireplace was a real winner for us, and being able to sit on the front veranda with our morning coffee listening to the birds was great. Darren was fantastic in communicating how to check in late and offered to chat about what was in the area ahead of our stay. It was clean, central and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again in the future!

The shower pressure was low, so I'd suggest anyone with thick/long hair to wash it before coming. The cottage is on tank water and Queensland are regularly in drought so we understand why the water-saving shower head is a must though, and it really didn't take away from our lovely short stay!

Too cute, very peaceful! The cottage was beautifully set up, very very clean. Only a short drive to see the sights, would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice break away from the city.

Nothing to report on this as we found it to be a really lovely spot, the garden was private & we had the pleasure of sitting on the back deck with nature.

Located on a quiet street within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, and national parks. We had our secluded garden where we enjoyed a picnic in the afternoon winter sun. The fireplace with everything we needed to light and enjoy the ambiance was one of the highlights of this cottage.

There is nothing I didn't like about this property and its location. The cottage was clean, bright, and also very private. Attention to detail down to labels on lights to make things easier to figure out.

Great location near eateries. Highly recommend the excellent Trattoria Mklll for dinner and Providore Cafe for breakfast. We booked for the wood fire as it was very cold. Cosy with very comfortable bed. Nice big TV. Nice kitchen. Towel warmer. Undercover parking. A kind and attentive host.

Only a minor comment - the decor is a bit of an eclectic mix of old and new. A homely stay.. it just lacks a bit of flair. The little cottage has character and definitely more potential.

Cute cottages with a nice little verandah and private area out the back, felt surrounded by nature but only a short walk away from main street and allegedly the best coffee on the mountain. Didn't even need to meet the hosts as everything was clean and instructions were clear but not intrusive at all. Kitchen and bathroom were set up with everything we needed. Bed is King size!

Would have preferred sofas in the lounge room to be comfy enough to sleep a small child. She did have her own bed in the bedroom though so can't really complain she wasn't looked after!

Loved the location, the space and the ability to be fully functioning in the space. Upon arriving, I had a small idea of what I was expecting, however, upon arrival, it blew my expectations. Loved, that if you wanted to, you could have a wood fire going in the cottage where you could sit vack and enjoy the cold evening after a great adventure out and about. Worried about having to share the bed? No stress there! The king bed is a great way to spread out!

Really private cottage surrounded by beautiful gardens. The fire place and unlimited wood was perfect for chilly nights. Bed was comfy and luxurious pillow/blankets. TV had netflix and the kitchen had lots of additions like milk, juice, tea, coffee pods, oil, salt, sugar... the basics we appreciate. Felt secluded in the garden/forest setting but we were only a minutes walk from lots of shops (cafes, pizza places, groceries, bottle shop, etc).

Only minor things: Temp control on shower was difficult - either boiling hot or cold. Old cupboard could be replaced with something easier to lay clothes/items in.

Very clean and well presented little cottage, and just a short walk from the main street, but in a nice quiet location. The wood fire was a nice touch also, with well stocked seasoned firewood on hand. I would definitely stay again if visiting Mount Tamborine in the future.

I can't think of any negatives at the price point of this accommodation. If I'm being picky, I would just say that the corner kitchen cupboard door could do with some attention.

Great location on a quiet street in town. It was very comfortable - loved the large king bed! The forest behind it is beautiful too, lovely to sit on the deck and listen to the birds. Good price as well for the location - much cheaper and nicer than lots of the motels in the area. Would happily return.

The cleaning rules felt a little bit extensive - in the cabin it said that you would get fined if you didn't put away all your cutlery etc.
