Liz & Rich were wonderful, friendly hosts who warmly welcomed us to their Mudgeeraba property, opposite the Village Green. We appreciated their local knowledge of the surroundings and recommendations of places to eat. Our room had lots of extras e.g. fruit, biscuits, coffee & tea. The breakfast was nice each morning with an assortment of cereals, yoghurts and fruits as starters, followed by a delicious bacon and eggs. We also had the high tea which was amazingly, great value for only $44p.p. You can even bring a bottle of wine/bubbles if you want, for a minimal corkage charge. There was an abundance of various savoury and sweet foods (all yummy) and all prepared by Rich and washed down with the choice of a variety of beautiful teas. We couldn't eat all the food on offer! The high tea is a must do. It certainly added to our experience staying at the Village B & B. We highly recommend this place.

Everything was great.

We stayed in an upstairs room called the Andrews room in this historic home that had been lovingly restored & renovated. Our room oozed with charm & character. The bed was super comfy & large. Facilities in the room include a fridge & tea/coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, aircon, ample storage space and a desk and chair. The private ensuite was a good size & the shower was excellent. Doors from our room opened onto a deck. An excellent breakfast was provided every morning that included cereals, fruit, toast, bacon & eggs, juices etc. We ate breakfast outside on the deck each morning. We also ate lunch out by the pool a couple of times & also enjoyed swimming in the pool. Liz & Rich, the hosts are amazing, so friendly & helpful. They gave us good tips on where to eat locally & what to do while staying on the Gold Coast. We are very appreciative of the way they looked after us. The house is located in a lovely quiet village, but close enough to get to all of the Gold Coast attractions quickly. We rate this as the best Bed & Breakfast we've ever stayed at.

What a gorgeous room! Furnished in beautiful cottage-style furniture and decor, so befitting of the grand Queenslander building. The location was perfect for us. It was so close to supermarkets and lovely local shops for a taste of local cuisine and crafts. The real gem was that we were able to walk across the road to our sporting event each day - no need to battle for a car park!

Unfortunately we were unable to experience the lovely breakfast as we had to be at our sports event early in the morning.

Clean heritage type room (railway room) with plenty of soft furnishings, comfortable bed, and a stylish bathroom. A delicious hot breakfast was included in a light and airy tea room with friendly and informative hosts. Great restaurants within walking distance we enjoyed dinner at Thai Mudgee. There are interesting older buildings and shopping arcade nearby

The railway room is downstairs so a bit dark. Outside seating for this room is under the stairs or in the not so private garden. There is a bit of traffic noise during the day but this isn't a problem at night

Sadly I had to leave before the breakfast. But you can tell a place values the people who stay with them. Lovely place which I wish I had the time to have stayed longer and really enjoy

Only slight problem was not being able to find anyone when I arrived. I had about 15 to 20 minutes trying to find a way into the building. But that was just a blip. Very friendly once we met. And I would recommend it , indeed already recommended it to some friends

Excellent

The only problem in the whole two night stay was the water pressure in the shower. It was minimal and the water was very luke warm to cool . Everything else was excellent. If I had to wash my hair it would have been very difficult. I have long and thick hair (for which I am very grateful) but with the shower there it would have been very hard.

The full English! And not just breakfast, which was great. Very good recreation of the traditional English B&B (but with better plumbing 😂) by hard working and fun hosts.

Lovely views but we couldn't enjoy them so much as we had to keep the curtains closed: our room faced the balcony which functioned as a restaurant. No biggie as this restaurant only works a few hours on some days.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and a very warm welcome, shown our room, then invited upstairs on to the verandah for tea, coffee and scones. The scones were delicious! We stayed in the The Railway Room, which was spacious, bright and clean with lovely furnishings. The bed was great, supportive, and pillows were very comfortable. Our daily cooked breakfast held in the dining room was delicious. The Village B&B was absolutely perfect for our two night stay, with everything we needed within walking distance, and even more just over the highway at the Robina Shopping Centre. Liz and Rich were exceptional hosts and provided good ideas on things to do and new places in the surrounding area to visit. Their mouth-watering high tea looked decadent. Next time I'll pre-order.

Friendly and welcoming. Brilliant village with very friendly locals. Short uber from the beaches. Lovely touches like fresh milk and cold water. Would highly recommend. Lovely hosts and doggie too.

Breakfast is only on for an hour between 7:30 and 8:30 which we weren't told and missed first day. But excellent when we did get it!

This quaint Queensland house has been converted into a beautiful B&B with an ensuite in the Starkey Room. Liz and Rich were fantastic hosts and very friendly, helpful and accommodating with requests. Bed was really comfy and breakfast was a treat.

Everything was great. No negative comments.
