The vines staff are so welcoming, nothing is to hard for them, and we are always greeted with a smile. They have ideas on where to go in town and they always make sure we are accommodated for, even if extending our stay whilst already here. The rooms are spacious, light and welcoming. They are exceedingly clean. The linen smells, looks and feel clean. With a microwave and fridge it makes staying in easy. The beds are comfy and cosy, and the pillows are soft. The tables and chairs outside the room are a great asset to enjoy breakfast or afternoon whilst enjoying the vines and views around the place. The Vines is centrally located for all the fun things to do around town, also a step away from the creek to walk, feed the ducks or kick the footy. We come to Stanthorpe often and we won't stay anywhere else.

The room was clean and welcoming. Bathroom and toilet were spotless. The bed was super comfortable with thick and soft cover for winter. It definitely kept us warm without using heating (yes heating is available). Our rooms were upstairs, the motel staff was kind enough to put all 3 rooms side by side we used the balcony for a little gathering after the kids are in bed. The rooms we had the balcony was facing the Big Thermometer and it was a very nice experience. This place has a reception, you get to talk to a person and a chat about the local destinations and recommendations.

The place was spotless cleaning The bedroom and bathroom was very clean too to not saying that I am very fussy and peticular with things The bed was comfortable I have a very good night asleep I was worried with that because I can't asleep with noise The place was packed But I did have the best asleep no noises at all The owner was very nice and amazing lady Whe took for a while before my departure She was ollways asking me if I needed anything to not hesitate to contact her I would definitely recommend the vines to anyone who wants to go to stanthorpe They will not regret My experience with the vines was the best I did have good time Many thanks for you kindness love and support towards me I definitely will go back again 🤗 Kind regards Love

We had a wonderful stay at this motel! The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The undercover car park was a great convenience, and the surroundings were simply stunning. Grapevines wrapped beautifully around the building, complemented by vibrant flowers that added so much charm. The garden was peaceful and well-maintained, making the whole experience even more delightful. Highly recommend for a serene and comfortable getaway!

It had all the amenities we needed for a short stay. Lovely hot water in the shower which came through straight away. Although the road outside was busy with traffic, with the glass doors closed, we did not hear any noise. (We stayed in winter. Maybe different in summer). Netflix available in-room. Only a 5 minute stroll (1 minute drive) into town. It was located near a large park with a great e scooter / bike / pedestrian track, children’s play areas & picnic tables. The host couple was friendly, polite & hospitable.

The location close to town and where we needed to go. The park across the road, great for walking the dog and sitting and relaxing. Room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed most of our stay there.

Having to pay extra per night for our dog. Have never had to pay extra anywhere else. Didn't like all the smoking outside around the room because it was coming in through the bathroom window. Maybe have a designated area for it away from the rooms.

Small family-run motel in Stanthorpe. Comfy but not ultra modern. Very clean. Friendly, efficient owners willing to make a stay enjoyable. Relaxed atmosphere. The room was little dated but there was a bright, warm doona, quiet aircon and plenty of the usual tea and coffee and fresh air if you wanted it. There was a vine covered verandah to sit on and enjoy a drink and a restaurant or room service. The motel is situated very close to beautiful, extensive walks around Stanthorpe's river. As a solo traveller I felt secure knowing the owners were onsite and able to deal with any problems.

Really friendly and helpful man with a beaming smile greeted us. Nice big room with a comfy lounge. We sat out on the verandah in the late afternoon. A little noisy out there being on the main road but really pleasant with all the grapevines. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, information centre and river walk.

It would have been nice to have a couple of bowls and small plates for our nibbles in the evening 😉

We were to arrive quite late in the day and so rang ahead and the staff were so helpful , they put aside a meal for each of us ..gave us a ground floor room instead of first floor as we are older and it was raining .. all of this done with good cheer and a smile .. we so much appreciated the staff going above and beyond .. we highly recommend this motel and we’re so impressed with the staff member we dealt with .

*Great location *Loved the long balconies on either side of rooms, front and back, which was great to sit on and catch up with the group of friends we had in 3 side by side rooms *Friendly guy in reception who was more than happy to assist with anything *Free onsite parking

Place is a little run down as opposed to online photos, but this didn't really worry us.
