Excellent direct view to ocean, although Apartment 5C doesn’t get enough sunlight for most of the day at this time of year.

Apartment 5C is due for a refresh as we were able to get a look in 5B which has been updated and the difference is stark….Go 5B if you can get it.

Great unit, particularly for the price. I stayed here while in town for work, and then my wife and baby joined me. The apartment had a great view of the beach and was metres from the oceanfront boardwalk and beach, and only a little bit further to a patroled beach for swimming. It was a further to the business heart of Surfers, but close enough that we walked there several times (and it's a nice stroll along the oceanfront). There's also a really nice surf club just a couple hundred metres away that was convenient and nice for meals and a drink. Tania was lovely and very helpful and the arrangement for an after-hours check-in was very convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic short holiday at Emerald Sands! Loved how it’s just a short walking distance to the Surfer’s Paradise and the tram/buses. And the beach is just on the opposite side. We loved the pool and bbq area, it was very clean and heated. The apartment was great too! They had everything we needed, complete kitchen/cooking facilities, air conditioning, free wifi, tv with netflix, comfy bed with balcony ocean view. Thank you so much Tania and Darren! We had a great stay, will definitely stay here again!!

Emerald sands a perfect place for us it was clean it had everything we needed a perfect position 2 mins to broadbeach one way and 2 mins to surfers the other way and the beach was outside are windows I would recommend these apartments to everyone and free covered parking 10/10 from us....

Absolutely nothing

I thought this property was a great place for 2 people. I got the deluxe apartment and it was great for a weeks stay. It was perfect distance between the hotel and beach, shops, trams and Ubers. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming - including letting us know the hotspots to go to.

Literally the only thing I can fault if I’m being picky - was the lack of providing of simple things (toilet paper and bin liners) and were only provided 1x of each item - we were only there for a week and didn’t need to spend MORE money on literally 1 extra bin liner and toilet roll. I also did find some dirty spoons in the cutlery draw (I happily washed it up - it was not a real problem). There was also no vacuum which made it harder when we check out as I felt like I left dirt on the floors which I didn’t know how to clean up. That’s if I’m being REALLY picky (we loved the place)

Loved that the apartment complex wasn't too big, particularlyas a solo traveller.. Met Tania & Steve who were welcoming. They live on-site so I felt safe and knew they'd help if I needed anything. The proximity to the beach, easy access to main road, Northcliffe Surf Club short walk away, tram also a short walk away in either direction. I'd definitely choose to stay at Emerald Sands again.
