We stayed in an apartment and it was beautiful. Amenities were great. We arrived to our room with the lights and heating on which was a lovely touch. Gorgeous bathroom with a huge tub. Big shower head, big fluffy towels. The bed was big and comfortable and there was a flat screen TV in the lounge and bedroom. There is a restaurant at the front with a back entry just a short walk from the apartment. The best steak we’ve ever had.

When you park your car, there is a garden between the carpark and the door. And the walkway was a fair walk down. If they put pavers in the garden to walk straight across it would be easier for carrying your luggage in.

Modern furnishings & large room, VERY comfortable bed, great shower with handy niche for shampoo, great restaurant on site. Convenient location to wineries we planned to visit & an easy walk to Tanunda main street (although we didn’t do that).

Accommodation area with external stairs & rooms all running off a long balcony walkway is very outdated & tired looking, giving old school hotel-motel vibes, which is an injustice to the beautiful interiors. No fly screen on window in room meant I couldn’t leave window open on the warm night we stayed, as I get eaten alive by mozzies (didn’t want/need aircon on)

Really stylish room with all the creature comforts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Beds were so comfortable, the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The family suite was perfect for our needs and we loved being able to do a load of washing in our suite using complimentary wash detergent. The suite was very well finished and felt cosy yet lux and great for our children with twin beds in their room. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic and the restaurant is also stylish yet warm and inviting (the fire going kept us warm and added to the atmosphere). Hands down the best service we have experienced. Checking in was such a pleasant experience and we appreciated the local Barossa knowledge. The location was easy to access shopping, restaurants and wineries (quick drive to everything). Please do yourself a favour and choose this lovely boutique hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Nothing, it was a great hotel with lovely helpful and professional staff

The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. We arrived very late, the staff called a few days before our arrival and collected all necessary information to make this process easier. Once we arrived after hours, all procedures were fast and easy to follow. We arrived to a warm, lit room and felt at home.

Breakfast was included in our price. We could order anything off the menu which was lovely. On the second morning I felt adventurous and ordered the French toast with melted chocolate, cream, strawberries and peanuts. It was certainly not what I expected with what looked like the left over egg scraped onto the bread like scrambled eggs - bread not toasted, the chocolate poured next to the toast on the plate like gravy and no strawberries - I think we caught the cook off guard. None the less, all other meals were generous and tasty.

Having a choice of breakfast was very good. However the first 2 mornings were very good with timely service. On the Sunday morning we waited over 1 hour for breakfast. With only 1 cook in the kitchen. We were told staff had called in sick? But on Monday morning the same thing? A different cook but only 1 in the kitchen. So again slow service. Also a gormless staff member who was also on the other evening. I think he was new as he just didn’t seem to have it together? But all in all we were happy with our room and nice staff members. I could imagine if you had noisy neighbours next door it would be very off putting. We could actually hear the couple talking when there. Luckily that room was empty most of the time.

See above?

As always, the rooms are clean and tidy, the staff are helpful and friendly, they always cater to our fur baby. They came around on Christmas Eve and offered additional cleaning, towels, etc so that the staff were able to take Christmas Day off. We were happy to oblige.

It’s my own fault for not checking but we should have asked for extra toilet paper before the public holiday, as we ran out. This isn’t their fault though.

The room was really clean, the air conditioner was left on thankfully, being a warm day. The room service was prompt and polite. The bed is very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was amazing.

I had to notify staff that I was getting phone calls since I had checked in and no one was on the other line. This happened multiple times throughout the night which made it hard to sleep. This did make me feel a bit uncomfortable and I ended up staying up most of the night.

The service from Michael from Germany our waiter was excellent, my wife scramble eggs had excessive amount pepper in it which wasn't in the menu he changed it without question and with a geniue smile. He was very professional through out our stay. In our opinion Michael from German has set the standard for other waiters to follow. Please pass on our thanks and we will return soon. Also Katrina from from.desk was.very helpful. Greg and Mandy.

The room was very well presented, comfortable bed nice bathroom loved the wooden panel wall, just a bit noisy from our neighbours walls seem to be a thin , we were in room 17 , darker curtains would also benefit.

The Barossa Weintal is a well run motel/hotel that has been recently refurbished. The staff are professional and efficient, friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to meet any requests - even last minute requests. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean, and had everything required for our stay.

The rooms were advertised as having garden views. And there was a view from our large window, but it was looking out on to dead grass! The rooms have been wonderfully refurbished, but the garden requires landscaping if it is to be advertised as having garden views. But this is a minor detail, in the main, everything met our requirements.

Great locations to all the Barossa towns. Also not too far to walk into Tanunda. Restaurant was also great. Accommodation (1BR apartment) was spacious and clean.

The outside area could have privacy partitions installed between the apartments - as we could see everybody's patio. Kitchen could have been a little bit better fitted out - e.g. cheese knives (only a big one was provided), mugs for coffee/tea (existing cups were VERY small) etc.
