Albeit a few minutes drive from the town centre, the somewhat isolated location only adds to the experience. Great room, catering from working needs (desk, etc) to relaxation - in particular with the lounger providing the user with the most magnificent views to the fields; small kitchinette but that could become handy in longer stays. Not surprisingly, beds and bathroom were very comfortable, with all very good amenities at hand. The tempting swimming pool area was closed due to the cold weather, surrounded by the well cared property grounds. Evening meal and breakfast were very good.

We missed an indoor lounge area to relax with the adult members of the family. And an additional minor wish may have been to have had a wider range at breakfast of local cheeses and charcuterie, considering the hotel location in the Barossa.

The location is good, but there's nothing within walking distance. It's a fair short drive to Tanunda (< 10 mins). The views to the hills are delightful from the upper floor rooms. The bed was very comfy and the room felt fresh and clean. The spa worked well, and the fluffy bath robes were a nice touch. Having a kitchenette was handy. Access to upper floors is via stairs. There's a golf course just next door. Parking is very convenient to the accomodation, but it's not undercover. The staff were very kind and helpful, and they left some little birthday surprises for my wife. We saw a few kangaroos around the property.

Streaming to the TV will only work for you if you have an Android device. Being winter we never got a chance to use the pool. I'm not if they removed the pool cover at all. There's a lovely restaurant on site, but you need to book (no walk-ins).

We really enjoyed the view over the hills from our private balcony and the sunsets. We were celebrating our anniversary and Novotel went the extra mile and we walked into the room to find a welcome bottle of sparkling wine and champagne glasses. The room was cleaned and replenished thoroughly each day. We also enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. The weather was a little cool for a swim but the pool looked lovely.

The resort is located in between Taunda, Nooriupta and Gawler in the Barossa Valley. The view from the balcony was lovely. The apartment had a nice layout and housekeeping did a great job each day tidying up the room, doing the dishes and making the bed etc. Breakfast was ok but not good, everything was just a bit bland for a 4 1/2 star resort.

There was no Nespresso machine nor guest laundry facilities. The tap water had a bore water odour which was unpleasant. The heated pool was freezing, even for the kids! The resort itself needs a good clean to get rid of spider webs that were everywhere.

One remarkable thing was how quiet and peaceful the resort was. The views from all the rooms are exceptional. It is one of the best Novotel resorts we have stayed in! All the staff without exception treated us with such warm hospitality. The facilities and services including Endota Spa made this an amazing place to relax. The resort is on the doorstep of some of the finest historical vineyards in the state. Fantastic food. Just the best experience!

The room was lovely although the view was better from rooms closer to the main building. We did not partake in breakfast. We did enjoy dinner in the evening.

The dinner plate could have been heated to keep the food warm as the fish we had (which was delicious) went cold quite quickly mainly because the plate wasn't warmed. We travelled from Tanunda and GPS took us via a northern route which involved a rutted dirt road. A warning about this would be helpful. It might be on the site and I missed it but if not there should definately be a warning as the road is terrible.

Everything was good, room, views, grounds. But Room service was very limited. My club sandwhich was soggy. It was our first break from children in 15 years so we didn’t want to people. So we ordered room service. But it wasn’t that good. We attended my nieces wedding on the Saturday and that was gorgeous. The food for that was perfect.. Thank you for helping her have her beautiful day🥰

The room was great, clean, comfortable bed, with a good view and facilities.

While the spa bath presented as clean and enticing, after the first use, there was a distinct dark residue around the water line. Unsure what it was but definitely came from the internal structure of the spa. Needless to say it wasn't used again, unfortunately.

Nice views and friendly staff. The main restaurant area has a beautiful fireplace and window looking out. Pool looked good, though it was cold and we didn't use it. Was nice touch to have a table tennis, a great activity to break up the wine-ing and dinning. Staff were friendly and accomodating in reception and restaurant.

For us the beds were too soft. The hotel rooms and walkways feel a little dated.

Nice and clean, friendly staff.

We stayed with a group of people in individual rooms and was really surprised to hear what each of us paid, even though our rooms were IDENTICAL the only difference being that one was labelled “superior” and the other standard… yet absolutely no difference in the room except the price hike..
