We stayed two comfortable and relaxing nights here under the wings of friendly hosts Bev and Martin. The location was quiet on beautiful setting with lovely garden. Our suite was faultless with very thoughtful decorations. Enjoyed very much the professional cooked meals using fresh local produce, especially the fabulous taste of the chilly prawns and pasta served at the conservatory. Thank you Bev and Martin for your kind hospitality, and sure we’ll visit again.

I loved the ambiance, peacefulness, proximity to Port Sorrel and other family members. I liked the local knowledge of the owners in suggesting places to visit and I loved the spa bath in my ensuite. The Female owner was brilliant in a crisis. We had an incident happen while staying at Tranquilles and owner was without fault-aHuge Thankyou to her 🙏👍😇 overall give rating of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where the kitchen/dining area meet is very close to one another…. We can /could hear any arguments going on in the kitchen from the dining area. Need to be mindful of guests…… One of the owners was grumpy with customers on the 1st morning we were there and it was a bit uncomfortable being there.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our included breakfasts very much. There was a great variety to choose from, both continental and cooked. The homemade goodies were delicious. Our hosts, Martin & Bev, provided a friendly and often informative start to each day.

We were not really affected by this, as we had our own transport, but evening meals at nearby locations were not within close walking distance. This may prove a bit inconvenient for some, but not many.

A wonderful stay. Both Bev and Martin went out of their way to make us comfortable. The breakfasts were fabulous! As were the two dinners we had both prepared by Bev, who is a top-quality cook/chef. The facility is very comfortable and is well located on the outskirts of Port Sorell where it enjoys a quiet setting. It is close to the towns of Devonport and Latrobe as well as the delightful beaches at Shearwater and, particularly, at Hawley. Would we stay there again? Most definitely!!

Thanks to Bev and Martin for a wonderful stay. Perfect B&B for a family vacation, close to everything we needed. The food was exceptional with the best breakfast we’ve ever had! We also had a family dinner that was fabulous.

Where do I start??… Stunning property, exceptional service. Bev and Martin were so helpful with information on things to see and do. The breakfast was sensational!! 2 course with drinks, and cooked to personal taste. I have multiple dietary requirements, and they were attended to with care and effort, providing such comfort. Lovely rooms, special little extra touches like bikkies and water. So good we extended our stay. Will be back again one day for sure! Thanks so much 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Honestly there are no negatives.

Such a beautiful place! The room was so elegant and the spa was amazing! The hosts were so helpful in providing ideas for our itinerary and so friendly that I felt like we we’d been friends for years. Then there was the breakfast (and dinner)!!! Amazing, sensational and so yummy!!! So wildly beyond our expectations!! We very highly recommend staying here and are already trying to coax extended family to visit! We only wished we could have stayed longer… but we plan to come back!

Wonderful staff , superb bespoke dining ( Bev is a chef with an amazing repertoire ) and location . The entire property is immaculately clean , gorgeous decor and special touches for guests . We had a delightful and beautiful two course breakfast with juices , teas and eggs/ breakfast specialties made just to order in addition to the creative set menu options in a colonial feel dining space with art work to view or purchase . A warm open wood fire with separate after dinner retreat ( music , games , reading room ) with a courtyard garden view was enchanting. Overall highly recommended.

The property was lovely and the breakfast was awesome.

The bedroom was very small 3mt x 4mt with a large bed and robe there was no place to put our suitcases. We had to store them in the bathroom.

Breakfast menu covered all possibilities and was excellent freshly cooked with home produce by a professional chef even had a takeaway breakfast box for the ferry excellent customer service and value

Having travelled extensively in Tasmania and have stayed in many establishments as hard has I’ve tried I could not find any negatives for transquilles which is tongue in cheek a disappointment
