At the time of check in the owner of the motel upgraded us to a huge family room with a full kitchen at no extra cost.What a lovely surprise! That is good old fashioned great customer service.The room was lovely and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.You can walk into town with ease and the motel is on a quiet street.We would stay here again next time we are in Apollo Bay.

Only wish we could have stayed longer as there is a lot to see and do here!

Staff were very helpful with providing information on dining, places to visit, local conditions etc... The room was spacious, clean, tidy, with all the equipment you need. Having the spa in the living space makes it an enjoyable experience rather than feeling tucked away in a bathroom as an add on, its a feature of the room we booked and the first reason we booked here. The log fire would be a nice touch on cold nights whilst you have a spa and watch a movie. The weather was too warm for us to use the log fire, but its a great feature. The location was great as well, easy walk to beach, town centre, and via car to local attractions.

I was very close to rating this place higher. I withheld 1 rating point only because the room is showing signs of ware and could use some attention. I'm being a little nit picky, but I hope this inspires some attention and a 9+ rating in the future.

Well located, very clean, and with excellent facilities (most especially the wood burner to help make the apartment very cosy on a wet mid-winter weekend)

Could have done with a little more wood, as the very gusty conditions outside meant the fire burned rather quickly. Only needed a little more, but that would’ve been lovely.

The location is not in the centre of the city, but it is just fine if you have your own transport (you will have your own parking lot). The staff is superb, she is helpful and friendly which makes the stay comfortable. Tha facilities are good and complete (bed heater is very helpful in cold weather!). No lock for toilet and bathroom is a different culture for me (But I guess it's just fine in Australia?)

I am very satisfied with the room.

I was warmly greeted by the owner, who gave me some great local info about the area. The spa and fireplace were such great additions to the room, which made for an enjoyable winter weekend away.

The bathroom was super clean but could use an update of the grout/water sealing.

Very central, only a short walk to shops & beach. Manager was lovely & gave me a great room.

Forgot to empty out fridge & as I was still in town, went back but it was all gone & the cleaning girls didn’t hand it in, so was just a bit disappointed with that. My fault for leaving, but staff should really let manager know, so they can make a decision to call the guest or not.

This is an older property so some may consider it a bit shabby because of its age, however: it was SAFE and SPOTLESS, which are the two primary things so many of us travelers look for. We had great interactions with the friendly and knowledgeable reception staff. Lovely, quiet locale near the water and local bars/restaurants. Excellent value for the money!!

Bathroom could do with updating ! Didn't like where the spa bath was situated would have been better in the bathroom, not the kitchen area, or made into a big bathroom, but the perfect place to stay would be happy to stay again

Wasn't very clean. Crumbs on the floor. They asked us to wash the dishes we used and clean the kichen,otherwise a cleaning fine of 30-50$. I dont think people on holiday should do that . Thats why we're on holiday, right?

Although experiencing Telstra problems (not site fault) thus the room I had booked was ‘already taken’, the lovely lady at reception upgraded me at no extra cost. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Reception was very friendly, helpful and understanding. Site was clean and well maintained. Facilities good and complimentary products such as tea, coffee and personal soap, etc very adequate.

Parking space allocated outside individual room .. particularly when inclement weather. Room car park was 4 spots away from door and little shelter from rain.
