Super easy check in. I received a text with all the information and was able to walk straight into the room on arrival. While the décor was dated, but everything worked and was clean. There was plenty of space, with a queen bed, a 4 seat round table, couch, and well stocked kitchenette. While I didn't use them I did notice other guests using an outdoor area with BBQ and pergola. Another plus was the IGA and a bakery across the road.

Being picky.... The entry from the road is need of repair and I needed to be carfeful turning into the motel. Also the decor was a little dated, but as described it all worked.

- Beds were extremely comfortable, my husband and I slept well and they were more comfy than most nice hotels! - Room was very quiet and comfortable to relax in. - Lady at reception was welcoming and helpful. - Room was easy to access from the car. Ample parking. - Chilled glasses in fridge and jug of cold water provided which was nice and not usually provided at other places we've stayed. - Plenty of pillows, towels and blankets for use. - Good location across the road from IGA and other shops.

- Bathroom door did not close as the latch wasn't lined up properly. We were trying to keep our 1 year old out of there so she wouldn't play with the toilet, not a big deal just something that could be looked at. - Couple of large ants in the bathroom that we killed, probably getting through the cracks, wasn't sure if they were a species that bite but was concerned about the possibility of my daughter being bitten. Again, not a big deal if you keep an eye on your young children.

The location of the motel was easy to find and it was brilliantly positioned across the road from the local shopping plaza. There was a surprising low amount of traffic noise.

Unfortunately room 2 has a very old recycle air conditioner and when my parents turned it on to heat the room it rattled and shook the entire room and was quite loud. The rattle and noise made sleeping uncomfortable.

The checkin instructions were simple and clear. I found the room very comfortable, clean and a very large space. The room was serviced appropriately daily.

Could do with with some facilities - but that is a luxury.

The smell of cheap air freshener which I'm allergic to & gives me a headache. I opened windows to try & get rid of the smell while we were away with family, I couldn't find anything plugged into power points or anything around the unit .. it must be something used when cleaning but it was so overpowering 🥺

Non contact checkin. Excellent communication. Comfortable rooms. Quiet. Perfect location for HMAS Cerberus events.

Nothing not to like. Kitchenette is not 5* but has everything you need and is very clean.

Very clean, neat and comfortable with a few little helpful extras that made my stay that much better.

Perhaps a power board in the room would be helpful. All the power points were single ones and were all occupied with the supplied appliances. The only place to plug in my phone charger was the bathroom power point or to unplug the VCR and use that one.

Good central location in Balnarring township. Nice spacious motel room with a large TV, decent sized fridge. Hosts even provided fresh milk for coffee/tea. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Self check in was effortless.

i liked that the owner left the key in the room for me when i got to the motel at 2.00 am, plenty of towels etc in the bathroom and adequate kitchen.

Although the decor is old, the room was very spacious and we had everything we need. We loved the contactless entrance and parking available. Across the street is a shopping area, so food etc is easily accessible.
