Very comfortable accommodation in the Castle Main house. Large bedroom with elevated small balcony overlooking the garden, and separate sitting room and bathroom. Bed very comfortable and everything is generally well appointed but within an older house. Located a 5 min walk from the centre of Cowes. The garden is a feature!

Not a cheap price for accommodation however probably not bad value when you consider pricing for alternatives. I think that is a location issue... Phillip Island is now a main tourist centre and to me generally comparatively expensive compared to the rest of regional Victoria. There are plenty of modern single bedroom, multi storey unit style holiday flats available in blocks of 25, however the castle is a little more unique and quirky whilst pretty luxurious.. if you prefer that you will be pleased.

Lovely ambience in Erehwon Suite. Spacious with separate loungeroom. Indoor & outdoor bathrooms with spa baths & showers. Nice lighting & interesting artworks. Plenty space for clothes etc. Close to the beach with lovely gardens. Friendly owner who supplied everything we needed. All in all a delightful experience. Hope to stay again sometime.

It was all good.

The room was clean, although the parking spaces for the hotel are small there are plenty outside. Near a lot of restaurants and the beach. Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable for two people, even had a little balcony. No noise so we had a good night.

The mattress was softer than we are used to but was comfortable.

I had an excellent stay in the lovely Villa by the Sea. There was an interesting, arty aspect to the entire property and everything had been thought about with care and taste. I enjoyed returning to my cosy room after a long beach walk and felt safe and snug and peaceful while I was there.

I liked everything.

The Staff, the private outdoor spa on the balcony, the spacious bathroom, natural light in the living area, the art on the walls and the aesthetic of the room.

The bed felt flimsy and as I am not a small person we put the matters on the floor to sleep, in saying that this is the only place I have ever had to do this. More sturdy bed would give this place a 10/10 Unrelated to the hotel, if you go to the penguin parade, either eat dinner before you go or while you are there. there are no takeaway options open later. One of the Pizza Places that says it is open until 11pm was not.

Nice looking place. Pleasant rooms made inviting with chocolates and lighting. Twin chesterfield sofas in common lounge was a bonus. Shared fridge and tea/coffee also good.

Had to bend to fit into shower and water ran hot and cold. Staff seemed to have some internal issues going on which made me leave the lounge. One-off I'm sure.

Location excellent, room itself had a WOW factor and the host Jenny even rang us prior to find out our eta which was a good touch. Upon arrival we were eventually greeted by Harley who was a delightful if not eccentric man with a somewhat different take on the world which could be mistaken for being confronting however his introduction to The Castle we found quite amusing.

Very tight entry and exit to property and not hard to miss it when u arrive. Take care going in and out don’t ask Harley about where the car park is (haha)

Best location. Most wonderful host - Amazing fireplace with the smell of woodsmoke in the air when you enter the building. Room was perfect size - spacious -with a beautiful beautiful bathroom featuring a spa bath and rain shower, an absolutely divine and refreshing way to start the day... just to end it with your own private Jacuzzi outside under the twinkle of fairy lights on your private balcony. They had everything you could want - from champagne buckets to your own dressing gowns and slippers. What a perfect stay for our anniversary. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on Phillip island in the future.

The bed pillows were a bit uncomfortable for our necks, but we just grabbed the pillows from the lounge room and was much more comfortable after this. Couldn't work out how to get the DVD player to work - however there was a plug in USB with a selection of movies on it. Would be good to have more modern movies/commonly appreciated movies.

Such a nice cute little room, all you need for a few days. 2 minute walk to the beach and under 10 minute walk to the strip in Cowes. Would book again, was a lovely and peaceful time.
