Booking was easy and was given an upgrade with a kitchenette which was great!! Facilities were clean and the larger fridge was a bonus!! We had plenty of clean towels and the shower was excellent!! Cooling and heating were available via inverter which was great and warmed our room very quickly.We weren’t far from the beach ( 4 min walk) and town was an uphill 5min walk with 3 supermarkets within a 10min walk and 2 in a car. My visit was off season and the prices were very reasonable!! I highly recommend choosing The Coachman and look forward to staying again!!

Nothing we were pretty happy with. Our stay. If I could suggest one thing it would be to have access to a recycle bin for our water and beer bottles.

I liked how when I arrived I told the manager what I was needing due work space the room I had booked so I was shown a more suitable room for me and I was moved into that room no worries , the manager James was very friendly and helpful with future bookings as I worked on the island monthly so I have booked 2 more months ahead and have a earlier check in time as well I highly recommend this motel when going to stay at Phillip Island

I stayed in room 11. - It was a cute cozy room, super neat and super clean. I was very impressed. - I also liked the bathroom, the shower was modern and clean and water pressure and hot water was fantastic. - Tv has Netflix and YouTube , I had the perfect movie night. - There were necessary amenities available in the room for me to prepare food and make some tea. - The gazebo, and bbq area just outside my room was lovely. I sat out there for some fresh air in the morning. - The manager at reception, I think his name was James(?) He was very polite and friendly. He offered to suggest some tourist places. :) - The price was reasonable. - 10/10 will stay again.

It is spacious 3 bedroom mostly self-contained apartment. It does have a microwave a stove and an oven and a medium-sized fridge however that being said If the oven takes very very long to cook just about everything and is very small. It could also do with a washing machine or a dryer. And the only other thing that I could say that it does need new chairs as the 2 chairs are both very hard and very old-fashioned definitely needs to be updated they have updated the painting and the Youth looks like they're trying to renovate the kitchen to a degree but putting paint on the bench top instead of revanishing was a mistake.

If the only thing I can say I didn't like is the 2 chairs in the lounge room If they are both very hard and the gutters definitely need to be cleaned If they were going to have breakfast on the balcony but the stench from the gutters was too much.

I really liked the friendly welcome. The gentlemen was kind and made it easy for us to check in and felt instantly comfortable. Bed was comfy and the place was simple and clean. Our kids had their own beds in the seperate room while me and my partner had the tv directly across the bed so we could chill after kids went to bed. Heating in the room was perfect. Hot water pressure in the shower was great. Thankyou coachman motel we will be back!

We stayed in the standard room it seemed recently renovated and was very clean. The room had all the stuff we needed like table space and full fridge space. The bathroom was clean and the shower was the best! Kept the right temperature and had lots of water. The receptionist guy was very welcoming and friendly.

The fridge didn't feel cold, we had a full blackout while there but this was out of the hotel's control.

Loved the friendly customer service, close/walking proximity to town, beaches and local restaurants. Shower was great and beds were comfortable, spacious enough for a family. Loved that our back door opened up to provide quick access to the pool area.

Bathroom facilities could have been a little cleaner, but was in fair condition. Stove top was quite old (one hob not working) and difficult to decipher heat levels due to markings being rubbed off.

Our room was neat and tidy. The bathroom was well equipped and the shower hot and strong. The bed was very comfortable. The room had all the facilities that you would expect for a motel room of this sort. The location in Cowes was fantastic, being an easy five-minute walk to central Cowes or the beach. The free parking was clearly defined. The price for our overnight stay was very good.

On arrival the room seemed like a classic, old school 'Motel' room (which it is), but I soon found that all added elements were 'considered'. Things I needed had been provided exactly where I needed them to be. Really comfortable bed & pillows..... and those sheets!!! heavenly. Thank you.

Given the age of the Motel, there are always going to be things that appear dated... but honestly, after the first few minutes I was so comfortable that I didn't even notice. There were some SUPER noisy guests who had tv / music really loud quite late... but I cannot lay the blame for that at the Motel management.

Everything was really clean - the room, the pool - the pool was great, kids even swam on cooler days 🤣. The shower actually had decent pressure which almost never happens in holiday accommodation and we were able to set the ac to the temp we wanted so we all slept well on warmer nights. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
