Absolutely loved the location and quality. It was a last minute booking and a very pleasant booking. Facilities were outstanding.

Was a little concerned at not having air conditioning on with temperatures in the mid 30C but the fan in the room and the room having a security screen on the room door was more than sufficient to sleep. There was ducted air conditioning in the property but the controls were locked away in a secure container in the hallway. Probably understandable with high cost of electricity and guests not likely to turn it off on departure.

It was perfect. Nicely located right in front of the church , very beautifully maintained place. Very nice and clean rooms, bathrooms and toilets. Spacious kitchen to cook your own food with all essentials, a nice drawing room to unwind and entertain and a good dining room. You can just feel at home

The doors on the outside and the rooms are secured with a passcode. While booking it was not informed to me that check in information will be send through phone hours before check in. I did not check my phone and was waiting outside the guest house for half hour and tried calling the contact number which was not answered. Later I I got the message

Very nice room. Free tea and coffee. Well appointed kitchen and lounge. Plenty of showers and toilets. Three of each for six or seven rooms. So I never had to wait. Some charming pieces of furniture like the art deco oak bedside table. Would stay again.

Some mystery devices with speakers plugged into the the outlets in the hallway. One had colorful flashing lights. I'm guessing either pest repellents or occupancy monitors? Why they needed three was a mystery. One was chirping loudly like a cricket. Except a cricket would have been soothing, this was rather irritating. Thankfully someone turned it off overnight and back on again in the morning. The lighting was quite dim overall, not great for people with vision problems or the elderly. This annoyingly seems to be the standard everywhere now. Save the planet and $$$ by giving everyone myopia. No light bulbs in the hallway either. I felt a little like I was going blind.

Nice private stay, room was cosy with outdoor access. Books to read & get a little inspiration, along with some brochures of the area. 2nd trip, plan to come back again. Location is good, not right in all the hustle & bustle. Short walking distance to main hub. Welcomed by Instructions for the stay. Beautifully clean & well designed interior design. Ammenties 👌 Eco friendly body wash & toilet paper. Look forward to coming back again.

Location, cleanliness, quiet, room size, facilities provided. Far better than any motel of comparison price. Highly highly higjly recommended.

The air freshener/scented oils smell in the lounge area. Really noticeable on first entering the house. Not really necessary in a place that is kept so clean. I'd suggest putting up a sign in the smaller shower explaining the need for the shower curtain to be inside the shower edge while showering. Someone didn't do this while we were there and I found a big pool of water running into the passage way, with the bath mat dripping wet. A quick mop up fixed it but maybe a sign would prevent it.

Just happened to meet the owners on arrival but I was sent very clear instructions via email with all the codes to enter the house and the rooms. Easy to find and so close to the city, walking distance actually, and in a very quiet area. House is spacious, clean, rooms have large comfy beds and pillows, fan in each room, hanging wardrobes or rails, and some have couches. There is a lovely communal lounge room, a dining room and a very spacious kitchen with everything you could possibly want in a kitchen. There are 2 toilets separate from 2 small shower only rooms, then a large disabled facility set up bathroom with toilet. Each room has its own security code. There is a paved courtyard out the back with lovely table and seating. 6 rooms only and although it looks small from the front, you will be so surprised when you walk inside. It is a real gem, and I can highly recommend this place.

Nothing I can think of.

It was very clean. The signage was clear about how to care for the facilities. I appreciated the clean modern kitchen, the refrigerator, kettle, reading room and the who gives a crap products. It was good to be able to park in the driveway as I felt more secure with my car. Guests were all discrete, respectful, yet friendly. People shared the facilities with care. I also appreciated the codes into the building and into each room. Towrls in the rooms as well as extra bath mats in the bathroom were nice.

I was in room #3. It has a glass door onto the patio which normally I would have enjoyed for light, but did not feel comfortable leaving open as it was a communal space, so I kept the curtains closed. I think some lace curtains allowing privacy but light to come through would be good. The shower and toilets are right across so I could hear doors opening often, though guests never made excess noise.

The location was excellent. Very clean. I loved the accessible bathroom, I felt safe in the shower with no risk of slipping. I was worried there would be a queue for the bathroom but there wasn't. I was also worried about the cleanliness of a shared bathroom but it was excellent. The building was nice and warm despite a very cold night.

We didn't see any staff at all which felt a bit weird. I wasn't sure if milk was supplied or not. So we might have inadvertently stolen some milk for our cuppas.

It exceeded my expectation about my stay in backpackers accomodation. I have comfy bed and the privacy was excellent. Overall, the accomodation was clean, although it's a shared bathroom and other facilities it was all clean and I like that it has little reminders on how to use an electric furniture and reminders how to be respectful with the other users.

However, the little oil heater is not enough to warm up the bedroom. If only provided better heater, because it was a cold night when I came to stay.

Even though it is slightly out of the Bendigo city centre and will certainly be quiet at night, it is right along the side of the creek that also passes through Bendigo's city centre (within 5-10 minutes on foot), so in that sense it is still very accessible and easy to find your way just by using the creek as reference for directions. Thus it is a good balance between accessibility and peacefulness.

Even though I didn't stay long enough to require one, it is a pity there isn't a washing machine (as far as I am aware of), even though there is a laundry room. There wasn't a proper table/desk in my room to place my laptop and use it properly (had to place it on the bed if I want to use it), would be nice if there's one too.
