The location is perfect for exploring Echuca on foot - most attractions are walking distance, as are the main shopping areas of Echuca. There is a supermarket just a few doors down, and ample eateries within a stone's throw. Onsite car parking makes it even more convenient. The building itself is a gorgeous old Post Office, full of character and old world charm. There are two very spacious and comfy common rooms downstairs to relax in, and a great outdoor courtyard area at the back.

We stayed in the Treasury Suite in Oct 2024. I know it is hard to keep up with required maintenance in a rental property, but there are a few things that really should have been seen to before we were there, and certainly need to be seen to asap - I have messaged the Property Manager directly with details of these so that they can be seen to. I will not detail them here, as that would be unfair. I'm sure the Property Manager will ensure they are addressed quickly. This is not a criticism of the property at all, just something to be aware of if you are booking a Suite on the first floor - there is a steep flight of stairs up to your Suite. If you have mobility issues, ensure you book a Suite that is on the ground floor.

The location is great, about 12 minutes' walk from the train station and in the middle of the town centre. When you enter this heritage house, there's a massive living area and kitchen, exactly like shown in the photos. The hotel manager is super helpful, helped me find a local taxi driver, allowed us to check in earlier due to our change of plan. Allowed us to store the luggage after we checked out. Definitely recommend!

The soundproof is not that great, can hear people next door talking at night. Some minor maintenance issues like toilet needs pressing the button a few times to stop water flowing, and the shower door does doesn't shut completely. Handyman and solve these problems easily.

Enjoyed our overnight stay in this very unique heritage building. The rooms are huge. Secure off-street parking was great and the location was very central. Easy non-contact check-in instructions received prior to arrival. We also got discounts to dine at the pub across the road where we picked up our keys (excellent food and service). Our room was up a staircase so make sure to check that out if you have mobility issues. Huge TV and mini-bar available.

Maybe an update on furnishings and curtains.

The building is a venerable renovated post office. We had the Tower Suite which was spacious, high-ceilinged and well furnished. I collected keys from pub opposite without problem. On-site parking was easy and secure. The property had several common areas to relax in, including a pleasant garden to enjoy a glass of local wine in the evening. Only a short walk to Echuca Wharf, the Riverside Walk, and other parts of town.

I think I read that this building was the old post office building. Large lounge/sitting area and huge kitchen downstairs that is central to the suites for all guests. Upstairs was our room and we absolutely loved it. The detail and heritage of the building was still there with some more modern features. The rooms were quiet from the street noise and we had our own bathroom.

Hubby can tend to be fussy with beds and this one was on the softer side. Be aware some rooms are upstairs for those with luggage which wasn’t a bother for us.

Great location downtown, within a few minutes walk of shops and restaurants. There is a private gated car park at rear of building. Being a heritage building, rooms are old style, but large and very clean.

This was our second stay. We missed having the young lady host who originally resided downstairs and provided an excellent breakfast. This time we saw Noone on the property and were informed to pick up the keys at the pub opposite. Little else was told apart from pointing you across the road to the property. For us this was ok, seeing we had stayed there before. For first timers, would be nice if the property managers could at least escort you across to the building and go over details.

Well appointed historic building, restored and renovated with very comfortable amenities. We had a very large room, with everything we needed. Key collection from the pub across the street, east and friendly staff. Great communication and very helpful ahead of our stay.

A lack of parking, perhaps due to other guests bringing extra vehicles. We ended up parking on the street, which wasn’t a big deal. Marked bays might be a better solution. We stayed on the ground floor near the front door, which was slammed quite loudly by just about everyone coming or going. New door furniture would fix the problem.

Location was great, loved the old building and the room and bed was spacious and comfortable. Check in/out was easy enough and building felt quite secure.

Being an old building, I was expecting external noise. However not as bad as it was. The road/street noise was not an issue, the adjoining room I could hear every little breath next door. Even the neighbour burping, full conversations and what not. May have been the door joining, whether something can be done acoustically to that. It wouldn't hinder me from staying again, though only if a good deal came up. Also wifi connected to laptop, it just was super slow and did not work at all for me.

The historic nature of the property made it a joy to stay in. It is very close to everything and there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. I really appreciated the extra towels that were available in the bathroom cupboards and the toiletries were lovely

Overall was excellent but would have liked to have a proper doona with doona cover on the bed not just a bottom sheet then an uncovered doona then a top sheet but I realise a lot of properties are doing this now but it is uncomfortable to sleep in if you stay more than one night as the bed needs to be completely remade which is not an easy task with the doona sheet set up

Beautiful historic property in great central location. Huge suite with lovely comfortable bed & furnishings. Great food available at discount at Cafe downstairs & Pub across the road. Easy secure parking onsite too.

Only thing missing in our suite was a wardrobe for hanging clothes. They did have drawers, but if you were in town for a function, you’d definitely want to hang items. Plenty of space for better towel rails too.
