Riz, the hostess, was very kind from the day we booked in April - when she described all the different accommodation cabins. Checking in was simple and with a friendly telephone call, we were allowed to check in on the day at 1pm - a little earlier than the 2pm standard. The premises, inside and out, were very clean. There was a nice deck and a pool out the front. Inside the cabin were comfortable couch, beds and pillows with extra blankets. Good water pressure and sensible non slip flooring in the shower. Well equipped kitchen with 4 burner stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery, utensils and cutlery. Thick, spotlessly clean bathroom towels were provided too. We look forward to staying there again when we next visit Shepparton.

We booked a cabin for 2 however our family decided they may join us, and the cabin park said that wouldn't be a problem just let them know when we arrived so we could pay the extra. On arrival we found they had upgraded us to a 6 berth cabin which was great. Cabin was clean and comfortable and the whole park was very neat and tidy. Main bed was very comfortable.

A little way out of the main shopping district however after hearing from other wedding guests that stayed in town, ours was a lot quieter.

Location. Value for Monday We enjoy the park and pool We like that we have a kitchenette and separate rooms from the children to sleep Our kids love the bunks. Fridge size yes excellent

The cabin we stayed in this time had some damage but nothing major but it didn’t disrupt our stay or anything. We enjoy staying here and will return again.

The staff went out of their way to help us given we were turning up late, even pre-heating our cabin. The cabin was spotlessly clean and fairly new. Generous parking beside the cabin meant we could fit in our VW Transporter van and trailer easily.

The door lock was a little tricky to open. The pillows were fairly flat, but everyone's preferences are so different, it would be impossible to please everyone on this. There were some hoons revving up and down the main street all night and morning, but is obviously no fault of the caravan park

The location of Riverside Cabin Park was great, it was only a few minutes out of Shepparton's township and right next door to a small shopping centre which has a supermarket and some other variety stores which was very convenient. I had read some comments about traffic noise, however as our cabin was situated at the back row of the property, we did not hear any traffic noise during our stay (I could imagine the first row being noisier though, as its just off the main road).

We enjoyed the convenience of being close to a supermarket. It was also very cosy .

The cabin at no.11 was meant to,share the parking bay . This was impossible with two 4WD drives. They just didn’t fit.Fortunately the next door people used another one. Had they not there was nowhere for me to Park

Nice spacious family cabin . Big couch and dining table. Next door to Kialla shopping plaza.

Toilet door hinge broken and door knob falling off. Could do with a rangehood clean (has grease hanging off filters)and tiles in the kitchen need a good scrub. Apart from that maintenance the cabin is really nice and clean. I understand some jobs need more cleaning time.I would happily stay again.

Our cabin was very spacious and clean it had everything we needed in there for our trip. The couch and ottoman were comfy and the table fitted 6 people which meant our in-laws were able to come over from the other cabin and have a coffee with us. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We were very happy with everything.

The pillows were the only thing i could criticise as they were too flat and we only had one.

Location and cleanliness and maintenance

Heating or Cooling system. It’s only in common area bedrooms were very cold. Bathrooms need locks if someone staying in sharing it is required . 1 of the BBQ wasn’t working. Only Big Water or Wine glasses were provided, I would recommend putting Whiskey glasses aswell.

Having stayed here a number of times, I came prepared with a sharper kitchen knife and spare power boards to use, as needed, with available power points, of which there are many. The location is excellent, easy drive to SAM and the gym I use while away from home. Really strong air con unit. Excellent being a short walk to a shopping centre where most needs can be met, including advance payment for The (Melbourne) Age on weekdays. Short drive to excellent kebab and other ethnic restaurants. As I have an allergy to the floral scents of some cleaning products, I'm always pleased there are no artificial aromas in the cabins.

No problem other than taking care when flushing the toilet, to ensure that the water does not continue to flow slowly after a flush. Only needs a tap on the flush button to manage any ongoing flow.
