The house was amazing! The BBQ area was spot on, and the entire house was just as impressive. The kitchen was incredibly well-appointed with plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and plentiful, and the lounge was spacious with enough room for everyone to relax. True to its name, this property has a quirky beach house vibe with loads of rustic charm. There are five bedrooms to choose from, along with multiple spaces to kick back and unwind. The pool table and bar in the games room were fantastic bonuses. The family area at the front of the house features a large, comfortable modular sofa, and unlike many holiday homes, there’s a good-sized smart TV. Another standout feature is the surprisingly large dining table—perfect for big family meals. There’s also a smaller breakfast table for more casual dining. The location of the house is great—close to town but still tucked away on a quiet street. Very close to the beach. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at Rustic Retreat!

This property lives up to its name. It is a quirky beach house with lots of rustic charm. There are five bedrooms to choose from, and multiple areas in which to relax. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow to us enjoy the outdoor areas, but the pool table and bar in the games room was a great bonus. The family area at the front of the house has a large comfortable modular sofa, and unlike, many holiday houses, it has a good sized smart TV. The master bedroom also has a smart TV. The dining area has another feature not seen in most holiday houses, a surprisingly large dining table. There is also a smaller breakfast table. The location of the house is great, close to town and in a quiet street. We really enjoyed our stay at Rustic Retreat.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, but there are a few things to be aware of. The house is on multiple levels, which, for us, added to its charm, but it might not suit everyone. The beds are what you would expect from a beach house, which we didn’t mind, but, again, they might not suit everyone. And the shower in the master bedroom is in the spa, so getting in and out might be a problem for older people. But there is another shower in the family bathroom.

Lovely big home with plenty to do & a lot of space! Enjoyed the games room playing pool & air hockey! Great living area - kitchen, dining table & lounge also with plenty of room. Location not to far from beach either!

The only thing we didn’t like is the mattress on the beds we used - I felt were a little old & too soft - I suffer from a bad back & the older/too soft mattress didn’t do my back any favours….this was the only negative.

House was amazing !!!! BBQ area was 100% as was the whole house . Kitchen was very well appointed , loads of plates, cups , glasses etc etc . Beds were comfortable and plentiful . Lounge was very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone .

There was nothing we didn’t like.. only complaint … we didn’t have enough time there . Will defo return one day .

Plenty of room for all of us, convenient location and good amenities, including laundry with dryer, which was useful as it was rainy. Rooms good sized and both doubles also had sofas. 2 dining tables meant there was plenty of room for meals or board games.

I'm highly allergic and asthmatic so the reed air fresheners were a problem for me. But for most people they would just add nice smells.

Love the size and the different zones..was great for 3 families so much room and the facilities were great. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor seating. Everyone loved the pool table. Great location short drive into town.

The beds were all extremely hard and uncomfortable but it was fine the positives far out wayed the beds

Clean. Had charm. Was well located.

Lack of firewood. Should be mentioned that they only supply a very small amount of firewood and that we need to supply our own wood.

The set up was very cool and worked really well with 2 families

Was very rustic and great location place was clean and very well set out.

The property was clean and tidy and very spacious. There many games were also very enjoyable for the kids.

When we first went in the smell inside of the house wasn’t really nice.

The house is in a good location to all amenities including town and beach
