The family was very happy with having a choice between the pool and the beach. Villa's are spacious and beds are comfy. The staff are very welcoming and love the coffee station. The location is excellent and there are so many restaurants to choose from and the choices continue over the bridge to the canal apartments and a short walk to the Peninsula Hotel Another BBQ area would be advantageous, especially when the hotel is full. one is not enough in busy times.

Given the price of accommodation, I wasn't expecting to pay for coffee pods. Villa was needing repairs as the stair rail had come apart and was strapped up with a plastic cable tie. The shower screen needs to be longer as the water came over the bath onto the floor, which is a bit slippery and worrying when you are older and climbing in and out of the bath. In the holiday period the pool can become a bit overcrowded an not enough seating. My husband has to be careful of recuring skin cancer, so there was not enough shaded area.

Staying at seashells was a wonderful experience especially for being only 45 mins from Perth city hussel and bussel.. Felt like I was on a relaxing vacaction on a tropical island off the coast of another country! Location was amazing and even around Xmas time driving just dwn the road at night so many beautiful Xmas lights and decorations were up it actually felt like it was Xmas for once! Couldn’t have been more relaxed and happy! Will be making sure this is my new vacaction spot!

Honestly I really couldn’t fault it .. Staff were great villas were amazing beach was so close and such a gorgeous swimming area

The room was fantastic. It was great to have the bedroom separated from the loungeroom so we could put our toddler to bed early and watch a movie. The pool was exceptional. A little bit cold, but combined with the spa it was perfect. Very relaxing and peaceful. Our short one night stay felt like a lot longer. Sharkies restaurant nearby was perfect for our son to play and had great food and drinks!

The dryer didn't work (unusually loud so we turned it off), but that was no big deal as we just air dried our towels on the balcony.

Beachside pool was great (although lounger cushions have seen better days). Easy to walk into Mandurah (20 mins) and around harbourside area. Great choice of local restaurants/cafes nearby. Our 1 bed apartment was large with plenty of seating and cushions. The bed was very comfortable. Free movies and WiFi.

The room was a bit tired. Bathrooms need a lift. Not all rooms are equal judging by the reviews. We had a few concerns that we had to mention on arrival, but everything was dealt with very promptly by staff. No safe in rooms. Smoking is allowed on balconies, which means smoke blowing into the room if someone smokes next door.

The view was perfect overlooking the pool and beach and nice,to have ,back by to sit outside and enjoy.. Location was ideal too being so close to the boardwalk , dolphin quay and ,foreshore .. Great having access to a large selection of movies on the tv in the loungeroom The decor and layout and size of apartment was great.. All the facilities, dishwasher, washing machine,dryer etc is fantastic.. although we didn't use them as we only stayed a n8ght but perfectly self sufficient for a,longer stay

The apartment was great but Only a few small things There was no access to movies on the,tv in the bedroom.. was really keen to relax in bed with a,couple of movies so a little dissaponted could only watch movies in the lounge room.. We has trouble closing the glass sliding door completely shut so had whistling wind noise all night The bath looked a little old and dated and although keen for ,bath didn't seem as inviting as if hoped Loved idea of a coffe machine in the apartment but no coffee pods available and said You had to purchase them from front desk...again disappointing

Loved the location right on the beach and close to all the restaurants. We stayed in mid March the weather was perfect 28-31 degrees. A picturesque destination with a beautiful infinity pool -epic views from our villa -room 10.2. The villa had everything we needed and more , spacious & clean, great movies to watch, comfy beds too, I took my daughter here & we plan to come back! Loved it so much ! Reception staff were lovely always a smile as we walked through. The pool was so relaxing it was very hard to leave! Thanks seashells ❤️ Joe & Maddy

Generally the villa was well equipped and certainly spacious. The decor and furniture were really nice and comfortable. The balcony was fabulous. The pool facilities are outstanding, and being right on the beautiful town beach is a huge bonus. Walking distance to great restaurants and little shops makes life easy.

The master bedroom needs its own air conditioner as it has no windows, and the lounge room one faces away from the bedroom. The bathroom was a little tired (needs new blinds) and the floor was very dusty/dirty. New ‘extra’ rugs for the beds required. The beds were lovely but a little firm. Great pillows though.

Lovely location. Right by the beach. The room was spacious, much larger than what we were excepting. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a big lounge and TV, a small kitchenette and a cleverly hidden washing machine and dryer. We only stayed one night, but it would be perfect for a longer stay. It was too cold for swimming, but the outdoor pool looked gorgeous. Secure parking and a very short walk to the beach. Excellent spot overall. I’d definitely consider Sea Shells if I was planning a longer vacation.

Location and views were stunning. Perfect swimming pool for children, would be nice to have a cafe by the pool. The beach is right there and walking to cafes and restaurants. Proximity to Perth, only 1 hour away from Perth. Free parking at the property.

The front desk service wasn't that friendly and polite, it was nice but still leaves some room for improvement. It would be also nice to have a small cafe in the hotel just for those who arrive with children and have no food. Not enough umbrellas in the swimming pool. The swimming pool gate needs to be fixed.

The location! Literally walk out your sliding door onto the beach (or overlook it from the infinity pool!) and it’s only short walk to the marina for breakfast (Cafe Moka!). It felt like a quiet haven in what was, surprisingly, the busy little city of Mandurah. We are usually real explorers when on holidays but it was so incredibly lovely we just wanted to stay in 😍! The spa, bed, lounge and dining area all looked over the beach, a view from everywhere. And there’s really nothing better than listening to the waves as you fall asleep.

Hard to pick any faults with this one. Given how BEAUTIFUL the bathroom, shower, spa area was it would have been lovely to have nicer (premium) toiletries. Towels for the pool being in room (rather than at reception) would be great also. And perhaps a better guide on what to do and where to eat. But that’s nitpicking really.
