The location is in a tranquil established suburb of Margaret River, very close to the town centre. The property was spacious and had a great enclosed backyard for our dog. It had tiled floors which was practical and presented a high standard of cleanliness. Our hosts were readily available and quick to replace a broken kettle. Rachel was also very warm and understanding when we needed to cut short our trip due to family illness.

The cottage suited our needs perfectly for a long weekend. We cooked one night on hotplates and there is a BBQ too. There is also a microwave but no conventional oven.

Happy Dogs Cottage is a lovely quiet retreat close to Maragaret River and perfect for exploring the South West. It is one of the few places with a fully enclosed yard for dogs. The living area and bathroom are spacious and the property is very well kept.

We cooked one meal on the BBQ which was fine. A portable stove top is provided, however the kitchen is a bit limited for cooking main meals.

Such a fabulous cottage for us and our puppy's first holiday. Great facilities - including a secure backyard. Very cosy with the woodburner. Very close to Margaret River - we walked to a nearby dog friendly pub and also a brewery in town. Wineries, breweries and beaches in driving distance. Lovely to meet our hosts upon checking in - the key was in the door but they popped round to say hi - and Rachel was fantastic at providing information on dog friendly wineries/breweries and cafes. Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to go back.

Everything was great.

Loved the tucked away position, it had everything we needed for our two day getaway. It was quirky and really lovely. Our dogs were very comfortable, loved the garden, as we only have a small area for them at home.

Nothing. Unfortunately the weather was not great - but that allowed us to wallow in the luxury of the pot belly stove.

breakfast was not an option or was requested as dont eat breakfast. Great location and very clean and neat property. Easy to locate and get access to property as keys were left in the door.

Location was great and only a small drive to Augusta and to Busselton.

Back yard had lots of leaves which made picking up dog doo a little challenging.

I love how the place gave off the most comfortable vibe. The hosts were amazing and welcoming, any requests was made were executed perfectly. I will definitely come again. My 2 pomeranians enjoyed their stay and it was their home away from home. Thank you for accommodating us and our fur babies. The cottage was clean and immaculate. Highly recommend...

Everything was perfect.

Everything was wonderful. Incredibly clean. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Everything we needed was available.
